I don't get the point if the "only 1 class per team" rule. Can you explain your thoughts behind that one?

Yes. So we were first worried about people being too tanky. We were especially worried about a couple stam dk tanks with guard to come and be totally unkillable yet still have decent burst. We didn't want to necessarily restrict max health or heavy armor, though, either. We were also worried about an all magsorc team killing people one by one by curse timing. There is also the worry of an all magplar team, etc. Basically in a 3v3, we felt it would be too powerful for a team to have multiple of one class in case someone literally died to 3 curses and an endless fury explosion.

However, we tend to not follow this rule when playing casually as usually when playing casually people don't (and don't really have much reason to) do things that might be unbalanced.

We have only had two events so far and the amount of people who showed up was very large. People on NA want to do this. There is a demand.

While so far we have been doing this casually (no prizes or anything yet), but I have yet to see someone get a bruised ego. If it did happen, that person did well to keep it in whisper.

Shouldn't you say "each player has to play different classes" then? "Only 1 class per team" in my understanding means that everyone has to play the same class.

The events that I've gone to have been fun. I think by far my favorite component has been the lack of rudeness and general good spiritedness.

Everyone seems to just be wanting to have fun and get better at their builds. Salt and anger have always ruined these things for me and there is none to be seen.

This guild is for people to improve their game and to have fun. We hope that the mentality of the guild makes people feel like there is no reason for them to cheat. We want people to come to have fun and to be able to pvp in a skill-based environment. With that said, I am very against cheating and I am sure most others are. Cheaters will be dealt with appropriately, but I hope that we don't have to go to that point.

If you were dueling with a friend to test builds and have a good time, would you feel the need to cheat or question whether your friend is cheating?

No Destro Ultimate but no ban on procs? Seems a bit off-base. I get that Destro Ult is powerful, but I can't see why you'd ban that but not ban the A#1 cheesiest thing in the history of the game (proc sets, namably Viper). Seems like a big hit to Magicka builds while leaving Stam-Proctards with their Viper Cheese.

    Otherwise sounds cool.

We limit proc sets to one per build, which you'll see in the rule list. This is sufficient. If anything, we've had problems with too much survivability. Proc burst has been under control.

    What Kena said.

And don't pretend like magicka builds don't have procs. Infernal Guardian, Grothdar, Valkyn Skoria are some of the most OP sets in the game. They also have visible or audible indicators meaning that you can time burst with them. You can't time an incap with a velidreth since it's all chance, but you can time an assassin's will with a skoria because you can listen for the meteor. You can do the same with infernal guardian and with Grothdar.

None of those sets are half as cancerous as Viper.

Infernal is nowhere near as powerful. Skoria is easy to counter. Grothdar isn't that powerful comparatively. None of those compare to Viper cheese.

A Battleground guild sounds great, but if people can still run Viper, that's a big turn off for me, especially if I'd be giving upthe BIS ultimate.

Can you at least give a reason for why Viper is so good that it should not be allowed other than it is cheese? And how is skoria easily counterable? And infernal destroys me on my less mobile vamp builds and my stamblade.
