Make drop set craftable! (before u start whiny read my content)

1.Relate the drop sets to motifs (for example, automan set related to dwemer motif), u can craft the set in original style or motif style (more option for outlook)
2.Remove boss garantee drop, and adding a special style material for the three sets in the area, (not bound) / (limited trade time) and can only be used when u have the correspongding motif), can only drop in this area (even if you choose to craft it in motif style it will still require this material)
3.The craft station will be in the final boss area, usable after u finished the area. The requirement will be high (7,8 traits for popular sets for example)

This suggestion is aimed to solve the following problems:
1. No more boring and repeating hunting for a perticular gear with perticular trait,now u can get set material and craft it with only one run
2. Make crafting great again, crafters will be valued again even if u don't care about taking part in a functionless new function (u all know)
3. Motifs are no longer useless
4. Boss garantee drop is not a good idea

    I would support this instantly if they implement it. What is the point otherwise of investing so much time in researching traits when its useless in the end?

    and crafters will be again viable if some very good sets (like maybe spell power cure, sunderflame, burning spellwave etc) will need 9 traits to craft

    and maybe to "dont stop farming" make limit to crafted items after defeating last boss.
    or you can craft 1 item on 1 character in dung or have random craft station to this set (blacksmithing/woodworking/clothing)
    and ofc with this crafting/getting your craft station to craft items which you want it will be faster than farming from bosses with rng to traits and especially to weapons from last boss

    I've seen similar sugestions to this and yes I do like the idea! Maybe not tied to a crafting style but def. a high number of traits and a special material you can only get in the dungeon and a limited supply.

    Maybe add something with a research timer to learn that special set as well.

    if not slacking with making this then this thread wouldnt be created but still we cant convert items into learned styses so people dreaming in any other possible option to make those motifs usable finally

    What they could also do is make the worth twice as much so instead of 100 Resources for a belt, it will be 200 for a dungeon set belt, 160 for chest, 420 for dungeon chest etc.

    I like the idea, but don't think its gonna happen though, it would take away si much grinding which ZOS relys on so much to keep people playing

    i am a big fan of making equipment crafting worth its investment.

    however, this should not be done on the backs of the casual player.

    Right now a casual player can make it thru with drop sets a plenty flowing and that is a good thing. taking all those drop sets and straightjacketing them into a "go thru crafter" is IMO too big a roadblock for many players.

    So instead of taking away from non-crafters as you suggest, i prefer adding unique capabilities to the crafter by allowing them to make 4pc and maybe even 3pc body/weapon sets which would open up a lot of new build options.

    if you did that, you would have the following unique elements for the two sides:
    1. drops - 2pc monster sets, 3 pc jewel/weapon sets, maelstrom/master wpn sets, jewels for any set
    2. crafts: 3pc body/wpn sets, 4pc body wpn sets, weight choice, motif choice.


    On top of those unique differences, crafted would retain the convenience of quick trait choice - not unique because it can be overcome by determined farming, but very convenient to just dial it in.

    i get that pushing all player to go thru crafters would be a windfall, but crafting should stand on its own merits not by forcing everyone thru a PC crafter.

    As much as I like the idea in the opening post, I believe this one is better, because it's simpler to implement. And it's been something we've been asking for for over a year now.
    However, implement it with no exceptions. Monster Sets are the most horrid of horrid. If any ability to change dropped sets' looks come into place I certainly hope it entails all sets.

    Only thing that would be more than cool is jewelry crafting station. Or NPC. For example, we could pay 100 000 gold for each purple tier jewelry item we want upgraded to gold. And dropped sets should not be craftable. These "drop from boss" materials could be used for restyling our gear, now that would make crafting great again.

    I'd rather prefer if you could use an attunable crafting station on dungeon sets. like you're able to craft those sets in your own home, which would at least give a real reason to get a house...

    Well housing is something I'd like to ignore at the moment…who knows how long will it take to develop.
    But dropping “XXX forge blueprint” and make forges for sets in the house can be also a good idea

    yeah jewelry crafting is definitely something we should have…who know it may even attract female players XD

    yeah doing dungeon over over and over to find the gear with certain trait is definitely something “pro” that casual players wouldn't understand how noble and priceless this activity is.

    Things like this is why they won't do it. You could create really OP sets if you could craft them in light, medium and heavy.

    Therefore, letting us convert to learned motifs is the way to go.
