There was a time when they did, but then they vanished. @Yolokin_Swagonborn is someone who happens to have a SS of them back when they still played

I believe they were all downsized.

I have spotted one before and it was a short amount of time as well... I play mostly in the PST evening time and after hundreds of hrs in PvP since December last year.... one sighting. Which is falling woefully short on the developers part.... Unless they are all in Azuras, which if they are then sure... if you want to base all of your patches off a ghost town then I am sure that the outlook is bright -_-

I'm glad that this thread is up and thriving. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom What's the ETA on fixing (most) everything that's gone wrong since DB on console? Invisible mobs and map icons. Constant loading screens. Crashes. Missing music and sound. Massive FPS drops. Activity Finder broken, again. The only reason why people are so irate is because they care. When they stop caring, there goes your ESO Plus and Crown Store money.

I'd be happy with a status update. I don't want to go all my-tax-dollars on you, but I am paying for ESO+ and for 2 weeks it's been ESO-

Is the problem known? Is a fix being developed? Tested? Validated? Is there anyone still employed at ZOS?

Agreed. Like I said in my original post, I don't want to stop loving this game but it's getting more and more difficult with each new DLC and patch.

    ETA on fixing

You must be new to computer things, no one can foresee how long it will take to fix something.

So, as they're not quite happy seeing customers leaving, your answer is ASAP.

How can they make/fix a game if they're not playing it? They may have been downsized but they're currently hiring engineers and programmers, etc. Maybe there's hope...

PTS: accept a small portion of the feedback, then they'll do whatever looks good on paper

You must be new to computer games, MMORPGs or the experience of efficient customer service. "ASAP" for a series of debilitating issues that have persisted for going on three weeks is not an appropriate or professional response for problems of this magnitude. Nearly every other game would have given us an update, a post, something, that wasn't vagaries buried in various threads or whispered in spur of the moment ESO live broadcasts that hardly anyone watches, or should need to watch to understand the resolution of the technical apocalypse that has befallen Tamriel.

It's not professional. And you asserting or even suggesting that it is/ might be shows a lack of insight into what a proper customer service process and response looks like.

Well said. I'd be happy with just getting a darn timeline. Or a "Hey, we hear you guys... we're working on the following issues with the following timelines..." I've worked in high tech, there's always a timeline. What I don't understand is the "let's ignore the elephant in the room" mentality that has taken over ZOS... I guess they think we'll be content with the "We're working on the issues" to keep us from canceling subscriptions and going off to play other MMOs... The funny thing is the problems of the past are now surfacing again (voice chat and long load screens) which makes me believe they never really fixed those issues to begin with and we're just being led by carrots on sticks.

Why hasn't Bethesda stepped in to stop this???? Their name is being smeared with poo... guilt by association with this ZOS crap.... ZOS may want to fix it.. maybe???, but they obviously don't know how. They have bitten off much more than they can chew apparently...

I'll spell it slowly again for you since you seem to be challenged @Peekachu99 :

    No. one. can.forese. how.long.it.will.take.to.fix.things.

This is computer science, not plastic surgery. Hence ASAP is the logical answer since you cannot foresee the ammount of time.

What you're pointing to in your attempt to argue is communication which is a totally different issue.

Honestly, I'm tired of being nice... FIX THE *** LAG IN CYRODIIL or stop charging me for a broke unpalyable game. Over a year later and it's the same *** 2-4 second delays on being able to do anything during prime time. (and no it's is not my system or addons). This is ***!

The worst part is that it's not just in Cyrodiil anymore. And, yep, paying for something that is supposed to be fun but frustrates me more and more everyday... right there with you on that.

You're clueless if you actually believe that ETAs, estimates, or even updates, can't be given on an unfolding issue. They should have at least identified the issue by now and passed that info along to their customer in a visible, professional manner. My whole family work in tech (Apple, Google--backend, not retail), so I have a firm perspective on IT management and dissemination to a customer response. Communication is at the centre of this issue. I don't know why you'd separate the two. Things break, assurances and possibly vague timelines are given in a public, visible manner. The end. Good customer service isn't rocket science.

But calling me "challenged" shows exactly where you're at. Continue to use derogatory slurs toward disadvantaged people though, and hopefully the mods will have the sense to ban you.

We're all frustrated but let's be mad at ZOS and not each other. I know I'll probably get bashed for that but attacking each other won't do anything. Not that being mad at ZOS will either but let's consolidate our anger toward the agreement that ZOS isn't communicating its timelines on fixing the issues and their customer service sucks. I'm tired of chasing the damn carrot on a stick, hoping with each DLC or patch that things get fixed only to find out they break even more.

I thought they knew what's going on in Cyrodiil, they also gave us a fix-solution to the problem. It went something like "please, avoid the crowded battles and spread out all over the map".

Ah, yes. LOL. I think that was where the dart landed on the board that week. There was also the week of "here's Vicious Death and Prox Det to prevent large zergs..." Because, you know, that's working well, too.

I'm in complete agreement with the OP. I love this game, love it to death. That being said....why would anyone invest in a product that doesn't work? As of today I have one character I can't access at all because it is "trapped" in Orsinium (No word on when that will be fixed). Cannot access guild chat. Try to have a little fun in Cyrodiil but every time I step foot near a conflict the game crashes (Same thing when using transitus/wayshrines). So, after all this, I decide to just level a nightblade to level 10.....but then I dashboard so hard my xbox turns off WHILE STANDING IN THE **** HARBORAGE. And the thing is, this is not just today. This is every. single. day for many of us and the problems are not limited to those I just mentioned.

I hear ya. I'm thankful that I don't have a toon stuck in Orsinium, I don't even go into Wrothgar anymore because I'm terrified it'll be stuck and never leave Wrothgar again.

Pre-DB I occasionally experienced unbearable lag in PvP, as well as occasional disconnects on particularly busy nights with dozens of combatants piled onto one keep for an eternity (thanks for the forward camps, BTW), but Post-DB this frustration has spilled into every aspect of the game.
I can't even say that the poor experience is limited to PvP anymore. I disconnect constantly in PvE...and not just dungeons, mind you. I disconnect EVERYWHERE. At crafting tables in the middle of virtually no other player interaction that I could possibly blame for poor performance. I disconnect at the freaking character selection screen.
Just this morning, there was a new kind of annoyance in the form of getting booted back to the character selection screen every 10 steps as a I was in Shornhelm.

Your game is becoming unplayable, and simply stating "Engineers are working on these issues" now gives all the comfort of "Your call is very important to us, please stay on the line".

Simply fix the issues. At least make the issues return to the fond memories I have of only occasionally being annoyed Pre-DB.

Sandman929, are you playing on a PC or a console? I was wondering if PC players were seeing all these issues too.

For context, threads like this go back to PC launch. ZOS has seen hundreds of them. The whole communicate better/stop pushing buggy stuff/fix the lag in Cyro rant is old hat. I'm not against people complaining or expressing their frustration, but neither the issues or the complaints are new. This the studio. This is the game. There is no FFXIV-style reboot in the works. You will get what they can deliver when they can get it out, whatever and whenever that is. Many who've called it unacceptable are still here, many have left, but this is how it is with ESO.
