The whole communicate better/stop pushing buggy stuff/fix the lag in Cyro rant is old hat. I'm not against people complaining or expressing their frustration, but neither the issues or the complaints are new. This the studio. This is the game. You will get what they can deliver when they can get it out, whatever and whenever that is. Many who've called it unacceptable are still here, many have left, but this is how it is with ESO.tinythinker wrote: »If the way they operate isn't good enough for you, just understand it isn't going to change. They are what they are, and claim to be doing the best they can. This is it. Problems will get fixed on the same schedule they always have. It isn't going to suddenly be a case where customer service, communication with the players, and bug fixes suddenly become improved to another entirely different level of quality. Like it or not (and many players like it/love it), what you see is what you will continue to get.
^^ Just a reminder.
Not to dampen spirits or discourage people from voicing their frustration, but as a reality check. Either you think ZOS is doing everything it can and that their best is more or less good enough, or you don't/it isn't. The forums are primarily for chatting/connecting, sharing ideas, bug reporting, and venting. The venting is well and good and has sometimes been helpful on specific issues, but, accept that general complaints about quality or harping on performance doesn't cause major panic at the ZOS studios.
In other words, say what you need to say as loud or as as often as you want but without any particular expectation of a response from the company.
So, now things are even more broken. But, you know, One Tamriel and OP armor sets that can be farmed. Next up? Housing. Every DLC drives the game closer and closer to being completely unplayable. I know they don't care. It's about the bottom dollar and they're making money so who cares if we're having an enjoyable experience or not as long as they keep getting new people to get the game and the rest of us to keep paying subs and crown store items.

I have to disagree. I've played through all of the DLCs, run literally ALL if the dungeons, delves, and quests with only a very few issues or bugs at all. I run 90+ FPS while out in the wilderness and 50 -60 fps in town and during PvP.
Other than a few lag spikes here and there and some clipping issues (which I hate), I'm really havig no problems playing this game.
What part is unplayable to you?
Well let me just say
A: this post should be closed because of it's age.
B: there have been several updates since
C: there have been DDOS attacks twice now on DNS servers which have caused issues for many people and my personal favorite....
Check your own network. If you have terrible internet it's your fault not the game developers.
If you are not port forwarded it's your fault.
If you have a high latency above 95 if you are using wireless if you are using a gateway modem provided by your ISP and you don't have your login to make changes to it for gaming, it's your fault.
I've seen so many complaints over the years in forums of mmo's complaining about developers while not having your own house in order.

You must be a PC player. ZOS's favorite child as far as maintenance goes.
For those of you who haven't figured it out yet...
/spoiler- They stopped caring some time ago. /spoiler end-

(Yes, I say poor PC optimization. There are far better optimized MMO's and when I cannot do trials because of the framerate lag it's become rediculous.)
But they stopped caring a while ago.
Here's another thing that's been bugging me as a console player... How come we no longer have a regular maintenance schedule? Have we become the stepchildren and only PC/Mac players get to have regular patches and updates @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom? (Info per the maintenance announcements) And you can't tell me that nothing needs to be updated/fixed/patched on the consoles, so what's the deal?

You know what they say you do when you assume.
Rule is generally to take it as the person already handled their end.
Can't tell you how many of you self righteous commenters make this same comment and are usually dead wrong as most people have dealt with any potential issues on the home end.
