    ^^ Just a reminder.

Not to dampen spirits or discourage people from voicing their frustration, but as a reality check. Either you think ZOS is doing everything it can and that their best is more or less good enough, or you don't/it isn't. The forums are primarily for chatting/connecting, sharing ideas, bug reporting, and venting. The venting is well and good and has sometimes been helpful on specific issues, but, accept that general complaints about quality or harping on performance doesn't cause major panic at the ZOS studios.

In other words, say what you need to say as loud or as as often as you want but without any particular expectation of a response from the company.

If this is the standard players/zos have now accepted, you're probably right, best bet to move on and wait for Tera/sto to support for my mmo fix on console.

So, now things are even more broken. But, you know, One Tamriel and OP armor sets that can be farmed. Next up? Housing. Every DLC drives the game closer and closer to being completely unplayable. I know they don't care. It's about the bottom dollar and they're making money so who cares if we're having an enjoyable experience or not as long as they keep getting new people to get the game and the rest of us to keep paying subs and crown store items.

I have to disagree. I've played through all of the DLCs, run literally ALL if the dungeons, delves, and quests with only a very few issues or bugs at all. I run 90+ FPS while out in the wilderness and 50 -60 fps in town and during PvP.

Other than a few lag spikes here and there and some clipping issues (which I hate), I'm really havig no problems playing this game.

What part is unplayable to you?

since start, game kinda get worse every patch, lag, crashes, freezes, long loading, loooong login, etc.
please stop adding more b4 you look into these things, and focus ONLY these things, because adding more stuff i say again have always made performance worse.
I dont know much, but there must be a way!
    New server/servers maybe @zos ?
pls let me know what it takes, i want to help save the game!
    But its dragging out!
I guess if you are silent about this matter, it means you do not know what to do really :(

Lucky for you. The lag "hiccups" that pause the game every couple of seconds makes it very difficult to do any sort of fighting, PvE or PvP. There are critical disconnects that drop people from the group, drop them from guild chat, and some that lock characters in a particular area. Other times, disconnects lock players out of the game even after completely restarting their Xbox numerous times. Oh, yeah, by-the-way, this is the experience on the Xbox console.

    Well let me just say

A: this post should be closed because of it's age.
B: there have been several updates since
C: there have been DDOS attacks twice now on DNS servers which have caused issues for many people and my personal favorite....

Check your own network. If you have terrible internet it's your fault not the game developers.

If you are not port forwarded it's your fault.

If you have a high latency above 95 if you are using wireless if you are using a gateway modem provided by your ISP and you don't have your login to make changes to it for gaming, it's your fault.

I've seen so many complaints over the years in forums of mmo's complaining about developers while not having your own house in order.

Yes I am and I can't say that I feel bad about that at all. It doesn't take a monster rig to play smoothly on a PC.

The game was initially designed to be played on PC, does it really surprise you that there issues with cross platforming? XBOX and PS4 were more of an afterthought to widen the client base.

As much as it would be nice to see how wrong the development is over my own opinion, especially when ignorance become the main issue. Seeing eso die in such a way would/is painfull to watch.

Lets just hope it last longer than beta and has a great launch.

Its all a big joke to me and started with peer to peer netcode based game's. Now even with a game like this thats pure server side but runs worse p2p and dial-up days, everything has gone down the drain.

To be quite frank with you, online gaming died around win8. If win10 becomes the norm and linux doesnt get some new api supported games then I couldnt care less anyway.

It's all a big gimmick now days. It's funny anyone should defend it. They only see the very very small picture because a small % of people know what use to be, has become and future directions of anything computer related.

You have to ask for the right stuff like linux support. low latency powerfull servers.

Does anyone even know what server hardware is being used? The interesting stuff!

Thiis game has allways been a bug riddled mess. The problem is largely that the matinences and poor PC optimization make this largely unignoreable.

(Yes, I say poor PC optimization. There are far better optimized MMO's and when I cannot do trials because of the framerate lag it's become rediculous.)

But they stopped caring a while ago.

The biggest frustration in the game for me is just the random disconnects to the login screen. And many times when this happens I'm on Teamspeak talking to my guildies and there is no disconnect at all with the Teamspeak server, just the servers at ZOS. And considering there is almost one thread started daily concerning this issue, it's not something that is exclusive to just one or two of us. If you go back and look at the thread history, you will see dozens of posts concerning this problem. It would be nice to finally see ZOS put some effort to getthing this fixed, but considering how long this has been going on, I'm not keeping my hopes up.

I personly don't think it is mainly down to PC optimization at least looking at my own frame rate and dated my card is. I do know what setting to turn off and I keep my pc clean. I may not have the best hardware (atm) but its over clocked and I've been running custom rigs, water cooled... for a long time. For me I believe its server maybe a bit of peering link (internet) lag. I'ts an online game and the data your computer is waiting to processed is coming from a online server.

Real fps lag comes from 30 frams and less, you know its starting to be a real problem then believe me. Aim for 60 or above and you know everything is good.

This game like most/all uses one core for most of the work and for that reason its very cpu dependant. In most cases thats the bottleneck.

Here's another thing that's been bugging me as a console player... How come we no longer have a regular maintenance schedule? Have we become the stepchildren and only PC/Mac players get to have regular patches and updates @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom? (Info per the maintenance announcements) And you can't tell me that nothing needs to be updated/fixed/patched on the consoles, so what's the deal?

Well.. with all due respect, consoles ARE the little step brother to PCs. Games are designed and programmed off computers..
