@Paulington did you find anything about the Yokeda/Aether/Ophidian sets?
I'd be very surprised if they didn't scale them up as well, as they'd make sense as vet mode incentives for AA/Hel Ra.

Meh. Don't want to recraft my Willow's staffs.
But. If these sets do have jewelry. Welcome back Warlock, Syrabane, Dragonguard, Sun. Mazzatun and Velidreth's might be interesting as well.

Amberplasm is certainly tempting (but if it´s a drop set i won´t get my hopes up). Warlock and syrabane are kinda meh compared to lich imo.
I really like them making necropotence desireable.
Also haj mota is something i´d like to give a try given i don´t longer have room on my bars for boundless storm.
First time i like the new set design.

Jewelery and weapons

That is sad news, I hope they'll scale them up before patch goes Live. These sets & the weapon/jewelry 3-sets + the possible changes to them are what kept me hyped about AA/Hel Ra being scaled up
Hide of the Werewolf: Updated this item set’s 2-, 3-, and 4-piece bonuses to provide Max Health, Max Stamina, and Weapon Damage, respectively, rather than providing Physical Resist, Max Health, and Max Stamina.

Velidreths mask should have spell damage on it if molag kena is going to have weapon and spell damage.
Only if you are going to spam roll-dodge to get that buff constantly, if not, its uptime is way less and varies hugely in different encounters.5) When you dodge an attack you receive the blessing of Tava and gain 9 Ultimate over 3 seconds.
so 3 ulti/s
It does, but you wont be dodging every 3 seconds with just shuffle. You also cant proc that buff while it is already up.Lyudorashi wrote: »
It doesn't proc from Shuffle dodges?
So basically none of the new monster sets can be used by magicka users...
Looking at those sets, there's nothing interesting for magicka builds at all.
I'll stick to my julianos/kena/willpower sets for the next couple of months then.
Hmm... that looks interesting on the first glance, but then you compare it to Tava's Blessing:
5) When you dodge an attack you receive the blessing of Tava and gain 9 Ultimate over 3 seconds.
so 3 ulti/s
vs
5) Generate 5 Ultimate when damaged. This effect can occur once very 5 seconds.
1 ulti/s
I think Werewolf Hide set should get buffed on that basis & grant atleast 15 ulti when damaged (or cooldown reduced to 2 seconds~).

Take a closer look at the Destruction Mastery set. It's a better set than Julianos. That 2400 extra magicka is equivalent to 229 spell damage.

Well, in PvE that depends on how many mobs you have attacking on you :P
But in PvP, your shuffle will make you dodge pretty much every second.
That said, you might be right that it's well balanced as far as PvE goes. Last thing I'd want to see is even more fotm medium armor sets for tanks.Emma_Overload wrote: »So basically none of the new monster sets can be used by magicka users...

Not sure if sarcasm, but Julianos gives you 300 spell damage as 5-set bonus. 375 if you want to get specific & add Major+Minor Sorcery. Sorcs can get that value even higher by having sorc skills on bar.
The most you'll have from Destruction Mastery is 2400+(Racial Passive +10%+Bound Aegis 8%+Inner Light 7%+Undaunted 6%)->3144. Though you can add Sturdy Horn as well & increase that to 3384 I suppose.
The one benefit Destruction Mastery does have though is that unlike spell dmg, magicka affects your dmg shield strength as well, but it's still a very weak set compared to something like Necropotence.
