Which dlc should i buy?

Pinkie_Satanas
My wallet tells my that i have to choose, so if some of you can help it would be great :D

I like the orsinium one, and i heard the map is great, but it looks a bit like more of the same, questing and questing and questing; dungeoning, dungeoning and dungeoning. It could be cool, but i'm not sure if i want that, since i have not finished the main quest yet, nor i completed any of the three pacts areas completely yet. What kind of new interesting stuff orsinium has to offer? I'd like to go there with a new character, an orc healer. Can i play there at level 1?

On the other hand, there are the thieves and db DLC, which adds some new mechanics to the game :D but i'm afraid i don't get exactly what it adds, and how cool it can really be. I don't want to be disapointed D: How has been your experience with those dlc so far? What did you do there?

So the possibilites for me are: new area for questing and dungeoning with a new character :D or new mechanics and *** to do with the characters i already have (i have a murderous thief, you see, he fits in thieves and db dlcs pretty well)

Go for Orisinium or IC, they are best.

I never bother Thieve Guild, its seems pretty limited than others..

Like Lord Dexter tells u, go for orsinium, its the biggest dlc with most content. thief guild and dark brotherhood are too small.
IC was fun for the pvp part with quest but i ques there aint many people left in sewers this days.
Still a grudge, only to see false what u want and nothing less.

If youre open to the subscription, NONE

If you're not open to it, then:
    Orsinium if you like quests
Imperial City if you like PvP

I would not suggest buying them all unless you try them out so, really consider a 30 day ESO plus sub

    @Pinkie_Satanas this.
Orsinium will give you access to maelstrom. If you measure entertainment by achievement and calculate the worth by #of hours played per dollar spent, Maelstrom will give you plenty of pve to accomplish. Add to that the world boss dailies that reward pieces for sets that (i think) are still viable. Yes,you can certainly participate at any level but it's a hell of a lot easier at 50.

If you prefer pvp or don't mind it, IC offers some of the same: dailies, set pieces that MAY still be viable, plenty of pve. PvP, I'm not sure how much though. Lots of people in there the past couple of days from what I've read here. But it's still awfully early in this expansion to say what it will look like in a month.

If you use the Dreadnought build or a variant of, then probably go with IC. You'll get good experience even trading up damage dealing for support. You'll have a consistent group experience that you won't really get in any other game pack.

But as IC is more than a bit divisive amount the player base, I'd agree that putting $15 in a one-month subscription would give you 30 days to sample without commitment. Each game pack has its own smaller community so make a few friends from each.

Buy 1 month sub. This gives you crowns to buy dlc. Try all dlc. Buy the one you like the most before your sub lapses.

    Problem solved.

This ^, buying a 1 month sub gives you 1500 crowns anyway and allows you to try out all the DLC and decide what you want.

    Simply put: don't buy, sub....
This gives you all DLC for 13 bucks a month.
You can't have any more for 30 a month, really.

Orsinium or Thieve's Guild are the best.
IC isnt very good,in my opinion, and the Dark Brotherhood is just ok.For me,anyway.
I still have a lot of fun in both the DLCs I mentioned to buy.

    Echo, echo

As a lot of people point out, a one month sub will give you a lot. If I were you I would sub and then grind through the thieves guild and dark brotherhood quests to max out the extra skill lines (you can only level them if you have access to the dlc) so you will always have access to the skills after the sub ends.

Orsinium or IC have the most replay ability, but orsinium costs almost as much as two other dlc's, so it's not easy to say what is the best value.

Yes.. get the pack deal that offers all three DLC. Wrothgar is big and lots to do. Vast area for farming of materials and treasure chests. Quests are good and big bosses fights have replayable value. Hew's Bane and thieves guild are fine, but smaller in scale. I use it for extension of materials harvesting or when I need a quick change of scenery. Haven't dove into IC or PvP much yet in Cyrodiil, but did some quests, and it's not bad. Cyrodiil is also big and have lots to do. Or if you have enough patience, I'm sure the new DB will be added into the pack deal once all the bugs and issues are fixed.

The answer will depend a lot on the kind of content you are interested on. If you are looking for more questing, Orcinium is probably the best choice, more group dungeons, IC has White Tower... If you are interested in raiding though, at some point you will need TG because of VMol.

I like them all. Orsinium is the largest content it seems, however Maelstrom is EXTREMELY repetitive. I don't understand how people can play the same thing over and over and over after clearing it a few times. I'd rather go into Cyrodiil instead of doing the same thing all the damn time, at least battles change up. But that's me.

As far as DLC story-wise... I enjoyed the Thieve's Guild AND Dark Brotherhood the most....although I think the DB has created the best new mechanic.

I'd recommend playing them in order of release tbh. Also that would mean (after Craglorn Lower and Upper ofc which were both free to all), doing Imperial City followed by Orsinium, then TG, then DB.

A subscription is worth it... you get points, you get access to all of the dlc, AND you now have access to the crafting bag. That's not all you get but those reasons right there are good enough imo.

I've only bought Orsinium so far and it's big and beautiful. There's a lot of nice design touches to be found that it almost feels like playing a proper TES game. Also the world bosses are like tough dungeon boss fights...you can't solo them like you can do for most of the main game world bosses.

Obviously the most populated DLC at the moment will be the Dark Brotherhood and maybe the IC for a while. There are costs and benefits to doing a DLC when it is at the height of it's popularity, but in every DLC there is content that is almost impossible to solo.

Thanks, guy ^^ At the end i bough the sub, because it's the easier and cheaper way right now for me. And i'm also enjoying the crafting bag, the extra things i get from farming and the extra experience points. Grinding in this game takes forever. I probably will pay the sub for a few months, then buy with the crown the dlc i like the most and unsub ^^

Consider that both Thieves & DB are stealth areas.
I dig Orsinium due to size & plenty to do there.
