Could you possibly screenshot that here? They have looked at this thread before for documentation of which armors are affected and this sounds like a new problem actually so a pic would be really helpful.

Exactly... There's certainly a lot of armor, costumes and clothes that needs fixing or a rework... But I also see a lot of "complaints" that are actually asking for "super boob plates" or less "plain" heavy or medium armor in females... Seriously, they certainly never seen any armor.
You can barely tell the gender of someone under a suit of armor.
There's a lot of free-to-play asian MMOs out there if you want to fight in a metal bikini, lol. Not only unrealistic and stupid, it's a fruit of our extremely sexist and misogynistic society. People should fight these things, not ask for them. But hey, this is the internet, so...

It's not as bad as the bloated torsos, but it's not good.
I'd like to add to this in regards to male and female versions:
On the PTS is this:
A clear male and female version. The pirate outfits work the same way.
Why then, can't our menfolk have the harem outfits topless? I saw a group of dancers wearing them while doing a DB quest and the males were topless with just the harem pants on. Why leave the 'bra' tops on for the male fitting then? They'd look so much better without. The wood elf outfits would work like that too, like a little kilt. Men don't need 'boob holders'!
Surely it would be way simpler to just remove the top than to reshape it?

There was also a link to that ESO Live episode somewhere in this topic. Basically ZOS stopped making female armour and simply made some modifications to the male form to put it on female characters. Results look awful even without the bloated torso bug.
Left image shows my character in Bosmer leather armour which matches her look very well. Right shows her in Sithis' Jack leather armour from the Sithis' Touch set*. Images are from the character screen to ensure identical camera position.
Note how Sithis' Jack changes her appearance because its base male form cannot properly adapt to the more complex female shape. The chest area is moved up and her breasts are shrinked to some blocky little thing.
With all the effort put into the beautiful terrain and interiors, why are the characters we play treated so bad? Armours look like crap, or worse, transform the character to achieve a certain look and fail instead of adding something awesome to what we created in the editor. Needless to say, but I won't waste time or money on those motifs. This has to be fixed. Make gear to fit our characters, instead of fitting our characters into your gear. And make gear look good on every character again!
(*) I don't know what style this is but I assume it to be from the Dark Brotherhood DLC styles, since it was awarded for completing one of its quests.
Here:
I call it "The Great Breton Uniboob".
Elven Hero Armor and Whisperwelft Gala Wear outfits used for comparison.
I didn't take pics of the Off-The-Shoulder Evening Dress, but it has the same problem, @ZOS_JessicaFolsom . I admit that I was more worried about showing the issue on the High-Collared Coin Ball Gown because it already left the Crown Store, and I worried that because you guys are not selling it anymore that it won't be fixed. It is by far my favorite dress on the PTS, it looks amazing depending on the dyes, I just wish this would be fixed
Edited: Fixed the pic.

I am a little flabbergasted that after the initial official response this thread received it's since been ignored and there are STILL countless armors in the game that suffer from really bad distortion (some of them even on males!)and there has been no official response explaining what they are doing about this. I'm just...incredibly disappointed.

Wow you can really see it in those comparison pics. It's also weird how WIDE they make the torso look when you are looking at them straight on. Totally bizarre.
Also, forgot to mention, but a huge YES to getting the harem pants for males WITHOUT any corresponding top!

Oh my oh my what is that? Will it be a costume in the crown store or a motif?
And yes ZOS for fashions sake, remove that ridiculous looking armor ;____;

Right? I really don't understand why it's there (the arm armor) as it's clearly completely pointless. And especially the armor on the forearm is really bad. Something more like jewelry would be cool but this huge bulky weirdness is completely incongruous. Please make it go away before you release this outfit ZOS.

The trinimac looks fantastic....on male characters.
actually i disagree. just made this today and was so disappointed. i couldnt use it this character is slim but muscular, and this just makes him look bulky. and the floating hip guards just make it so much worse.
