IMPORTANT UPDATE! ZOS PLEASE reconsider your decision to no longer make FEMALE Light armor!

You do understand, that, in those ages, things like armor were male?
    No one made 'female' armor.
The reason was simple: if you HAPPEN to have boobies, well, tie them in, and voila: nice fit, considering man are usually a tad larger than women.
On the other hand, back then there were hardly female warriors, and those that did fight, were usually archers.

Quite logical, a woman's eye-hand coordination far exceeds that of men...

Light "armor" is not armor though... Profession that allows you to craft it is called "clothier", and the gear is made of silk, cotton and such.
And like MornaBaine said, ZOS confirmed that these meshes are bugged.

Actually in those ages there were just as many female armor users as male. Those ages are a video game where men and women alike can be warriors, rogues and wizards.

Tamriel is a world full of magic and pretty much everyone is using it in one form or the other. I see costumes for example as clothing, which is illusion enchanted and hides due to that the true appearance of it's wearer with an optical illusion. It does not apply to sounds though - sound is still providing clues about the actual appearance of the wearer.

In a similar way I see the protection of cloth armor in ESO - it's materials are inherently magic and provide protection far above what is to be expected from this material. If this is added by the crafter or part of the hides/fibers used, I don't know, but that is how I explain to myself, why these armors provide relatively high protection despite their materials.

Tamriel is as well a continent, where male and females both have taken part in combat, not necessarily in the same way, but due to the high presence of magic there is not really a huge difference in combat performance between the genders. This is different to how it was on earth, on Nirn things are different due to that there is magic all around. And so I expect as well armor, which fits a proud female warrior like a glove - and is not just a somewhat altered version of a male armor.

There is no "in those ages" which is applicable here.

This is fiction. Fictional cultures in a fictional world with fictional history and fictional customs.

Unless you can find some canon that says that only men wore armor in this Tamrielic Era, then your argument is invalid.

    Don't be dumb.

Your comment has nothing to with this issue. The FACT is this: the new female armors do not conform to the bodies specified by the players during the character creation process. ZOS needs to fix this or stop pretending that players have any creative input into the appearance of their own characters. They may as well remove the character creation tool from the game and just give every toon the same body!

To me it just looks like she has a loose fitting top and not one that forms to the contour of her breasts.

I just realized, that the nightmother's embrace set has been worked on - shoulders are no longer that wide and the bulge on the back and front was worked over, so that there are no clipping issues on the backside anymore and the front section looks a lot more acceptable now as well - thank you ZOS for changing that and working on our appearance. It is much appreciated.

It would be even better if they'd talk to us again about this issue here. Give us an estimate on what is being fixed and when!

I imagine it's really hard to make armor work for every body type. Might even be an issue with the underlying character model itself, who knows. Here's another image of a woman in metal armor, though, so people can see more examples of what armor looks like on a female figure.

I'm just sad there aren't any super string bikini barbarian women running around and men in nothing but thong loincloths and horn helmets.

Want to be naked barbarian plz. Show off my man muscles. Schwarzenegger Conan style. And you know, whatever the woman version of that is.

It's fantasy. The fantasy is I'm so good at what I do I'll never get hit and kill you before you can touch me with my pro l33t sword skills. Power fantasy and all that.

I actually think the treasure hunter costume looks ok. Its a metal cuirass and doesn't need to be form fitting over the breasts.

I also noticed that the crop top and white bottom outfit has been changed. The pants no longer look like McHammer pants :)

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom I am sorry to say this, but the shield of shadow dancer and nightmother's embrace sets are clipping horribly into the character itself - especially shadow dancer shield - it clips into my head and my hips even when I am just standing there - in sneak it goes straight through my head and it just looks terrible this way. Please redirect this to the right person to fix this - if those shields would be a bit smaller and not that near to the body, it would possibly work - or if they would scale to the character size. These are stealth sets, so it should not clip when in stealth, but it does extremely even.

They still have a long way to go. There are MANY armors still suffering from massive distortion.

history shows otherwise on the hand eye coordination, so do modern times. the evidence is everywhere against your case and overwhelming as well.

It's a matter of opinion, in which case it's not 'broken' it's just a qualitative opinion based on what people like.

Here's the updated link: Assassins League Armour

And for those interested ( @Lysette ) I believe it can be obtained in The Gold Coast.

Thanks, I think I like with it, that the robe is not full length down to the ankles but ends a bit below the knees. This gives this set something unique.
