I actually would have no problem with that for heavy (metal) armors. It's leather and cloth that need to conform to the figure. Too often they still don't.

I had no issue with cloth robes and shirts so far, and the few rawhide parts I have are pretty good, covering all and not skintight. I get the issue but not the "needs more boobplate" parts I see so often.

Please, check the first pages of this thread, there's plenty of examples that some styles dot look "pretty good".
And it has nothing to do with boobplates.
Besides, your rawhide items most likely have one of the old styles, and they do have female meshes.

This is not about boob plates, I wear on many avatars Redguard medium, which does not have a cleavage at all. But it still fits to the female anatomy and does not look weird. I have a couple of male avatars now as well and I have to say, armor fits on a male body like a glove. So why can't we have this for females as well?- This is basically the main complain about this issue.

We have so many styles and craftable motifs in this game now, it's not asking too much for some variety. We have a good amount of it now. Some sexy, some rough and tough... but ultimately they should all look like clothing or armor crafted to fit a particular form.

The weird bloated distortions of some of the styles are really the main problem here.

I'm still surprised this is such a new bug to people. It was around and brought up with the Imperial City DLC when it was first launched. Though I guess now that it has been affecting the PvE world also it's become much more of a known problem.

Crown Store costumes have the distortion problem too, as shown by lots of pictures in this thread.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

I only play male characters, however this needs fixing right away! I have a friends that haven't reached this tier of armour yet, it's hideous and they are going to be appalled by it. So much so, one of them, I think, might stop playing if their characters chests look like that in light and medium armour (plate is acceptable, function of lady lump-tion).

And there are still SEVERAL styles where this is the case. Stuff that looks absolutely gorgeous on male characters. I currently have a bank alt that does nothing but hold all the armor I can't wear because it hasn't been fixed yet. SIGH.

I primarily play female characters and I like them to actually look female in cloth. This new choice of theirs would need to change before I bother going out of my way to spend the, potentially long, time collecting new motifs for crafting.

@MornaBaine just a heads up, I have posted this on the TESO-RP forums and our EU Stormhaven RP forums asking them to come and comment, show their support and keep this thread moving. A place where I can complain!

How about, especially for female characters, make all headgear work in a way that DOESN'T REMOVE THE HAIR.
Seriously, I don't want my stupid but beautiful Rinoa to look like a bowling ball from behind or like an egg from the front.

This being said, I'm completely positive that even the filthiest Argonian wenches of Black Marsh are more attractive than a hairless nord.

Thank you very much Leo! You'd think the trade guilds would be up in arms as well. RPers buy stuff, EXPENSIVE stuff, because it looks cool. We've now started trading information so we know what to avoid purchasing which, whether they know it or not, is hitting sellers in trade guilds right in the old pocketbook.

Speaking of pocketbooks, it's amazing the crown store has (had?) motifs selling for real money that is bugged on female models. I don't know if the merc style is still there, but knowing it's bugged and charging 3000 crowns for it, for ONE motif book, amazes me.

I was not happy last night. My new tank build needs to use Bahraha's Curse and I had a hard time finding set pieces. I didn't want the chest piece to be one of them, but I got stuck with it. My poor Breton looks like she's wearing a bra designed to be worn by an aircraft carrier.

Another 'agree' for the original post - changing the established TESO practice of a female mesh on armours was a bad move,

I'm not interested in any Mofits / Outfits so comparatively ugly / unfinished on female avatars compared to the existing TESO standard. If you want me to spend Crowns / Gold ZOS - you need better fluff!

Another hard "Agree" here. My characters are ALL ladies, and most of them are light or medium armor builds. This drastically cuts down my endgame armor options, because I refuse to use armor that is modeled like that. I don't need "boob plate," but I want my characters to look like there's at least a female body under their armor!

And as a woman, I'm more than a little miffed that male is, once again, the default, despite the fact that women take up 50% of the planet. :/
    Living vicariously through my characters.

    My Girls:
"If you were trapped in your house for, say, a year, how would you pass the time?"

Nephikah the Houseless, dunmer assassin: "I suppose I could use the break. I have a lot of business holdings now that need management."
Swum-Many-Waters, elderly argonian healer: "I think that I would enjoy writing a memoir."
Silh'ki, khajiit warrior-chef: "Would this one be able to go outside, to the nearby river? It's hard to fish without water!"
Peregrine Huntress, bosmer hunter: "Who is forcing me to stay inside, and where can I find them?"
Lorenyawe, altmer mechanist: "And why would I want to go outside in the first place? Too much to be done in the workshop."
Lorelai Magpie, breton master thief: "I'd go nuts. Lucky for me, I have a little experience sneaking out!"
Rasheda the Burning Heart, redguard knight: "I would continue my training to keep my skills sharp."
Hex-Eye Azabi, khajiit daedric priestess: "I suppose it would be lucky, then, that I built a shrine to Mephala in my backyard."
Yngva Stormhammer, nord bandit (reformed...ish): "I hate being inside even when I'm not forced to be. GET. ME. OUT."
Madam Argentia, vampire dunmer aristocrat: "I suppose it would be more of the same. I have a rather... contentious relationship with the sun."
Mazie gra-Bolga, orc scout: "Uh... I'd have to house train my bear..."
Felicia the Wanderer, imperial witch-for-hire: "What Lorelai said."
Calico Jaka-dra, retired khajiit pirate: "This one would like a rest from her grand adventures. Her jewel shop runs out of stock!"
Shimmerbeam, blind altmer psijic: "Provided that I am confined to Artaeum, I do not think I will want for things to occupy my time."
Shauna Blackfire, redguard necromancer: "Sounds like paradise. I hate people."
Kirniel the Undying, cursed bosmer warrior: "I would feel useless, not being able to fight."
Echoes-from-Dragons, argonian who thinks she's a dragon: "All the better to count my hoard!"

Well, when the harem girl costumes were first released, there was a weird effect that looked like the tops of the breasts were being pushed down by invisible spatulas.

They did fix that, so there's hope. But, they released the product for cash sale in that condition, so...

To be honest, I've more than double-checked and my female shape is perfectly fine with the toxin doctor costume. It actually matches the shape with my normal armor, so it seems that just the texture changes. (on that part. It's obviously not just a texture with all the other details)

I don't mean to say it's intentional - of course - but I don't think the two pictures you posted are from the same angle. The arm and elbow are clearly in different positions indicating that the toxin doctor picture is a bit more frontal (just a tiny bit) and the camera is also higher, broadening the shoulders (you can see that by the difference in the horizon line. A picture from below (left) hides the other shoulder better than a picture with a higher camera) and that's enough to get a different curvature of the body.

Could you possibly screenshot that here? They have looked at this thread before for documentation of which armors are affected and this sounds like a new problem actually so a pic would be really helpful.
