ZOS you realise these are costumes we won't ever be buying right?

Does this not hit you in the pocket...would have thought this would be enough to get your attention (loss of potential earnings).

Wow those are awful, male or female. Still I don't even want to think about the added distortion for females. What a wasted opportunity to make awesome Dragon costumes so grungy and dull. The second ones look like they should be carrying bloody chainsaws, but they're in the wrong era.

From my point of view, they can keep this stuff - I don't want it - and my only male character is happy with his cultural argonian gear, which goes well with his scales, he does not need a costume. A lost sale opportunity, ZOS, very sad, that you are that mediocre to rightout terrible in some parts of the game and so fantastic in others - this is what makes it so disappointing.

This whole thread, to me... just seems like some guys without girlfriends cant see proper boobs in game haha.

I am a woman, and if I wanted my character to have the figure of a man,I would have made her a man. I only have two females and they dont look nice anymore in Light armor. And now it seems soon they wont look good in any armor. However,at least the costumes are reflecting the female shape quite nicely.Even the Elven Hero costumes looks nice on our lady characters. :)

About the latest Crown Store Showcase, I am really worried that they are removing some clothes from the Crown Store, especially the High-Collared Coin Ball Gown.

It is one of the outfits with the worst deformation issues. I am afraid that, once no one else can buy it anymore, they won't bother to fix it ~.~

Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

Well there's been no indication yet that they plan to fix any of the crown store outfits. They did manage to improve the legs of the dancing girl outfits. Yet the deformation of the chest issues remain even on those.

And the changes to the salwar outfit (dancing girl  ) are maybe good for some, but not for my characters, because they let the thighs appear smaller than they are on my characters. So to me this outfit is ruined, I do not use it any longer.

Here's the medium Mercenary on my Breton. The warp on the buckles is terrible, the squared chest, the accordion pants, the only merc piece that looks right is the shoulder. (The rest is all Breton style.)

And for contrast, how the chest should look. Light armor on a male character.

Dont know a single female player that's stoked they get an ironing board under their shirt from now on. On the upside Akaviri light crafting requests are maintaining though.

Has it been confirmed? Is it a budget thing (copy/paste)? Or a #cosfeminism thing?

DB patch will deliver still few balloons. They thematically belong to thieves guild. I think they were made actually for TG patch, but got delayed. Two armors fit for coke bottle.

    Abah's Watch light armor:

The new Assassin's League light armor, better:

Hopefully the last one is indicator that ZOS learned their lesson. Although it's another browngray rogue armor, at least it honors character customization.

More pictures here , both male and female. The background in these new pictures is Kvatch btw.

I really hope at least Trinimac and Abah's Watch get fixed. They are good styles on every other aspect.

I'm really hoping they start making the armor fit the female form again. Hell, they could hire some people from Second Life who could rig and texture it correctly. Some may be hobbiests, but I know one creator (personal friend) who freelances for game developers too. (And hey, bb, if you're reading this!)

Please; the armor doesn't have to be sexy, but we'd do anything to have the armor not look deformed!

I've noticed there's a lot of disregard for respect to the female gamers who actually enjoy looking sexy in game as much as they do in real life, I mean besides ESO....look at what Rockstar did with GTA Online lol, before you know it, female models in most games will be indistinguishable from males at this rate lol. Like I said in another post related to this issue, why the hell even give us shape sliders, tattoos, and scars if this is how it's gonna be with armors...we should all just start playing without armor and costumes

Then you have not seen the nightmother's embrace heavy chest piece yet - that includes as well shoulders and the upper arms, makes my character's shoulder like 1.75 times as wide and the rest of it is so bulky that my characters waist appears to be at least 1.5 times as wide and chest part is just pulled out and could encase twice double-Ds. If you ever got the shoulder pieces of this armor set - these float that far away from the shoulders, because once the chest piece of the armor is worn, they actually attach to the armor - so you can imagine how wide and bulky that armor piece actually is.

i tried it on those of my females, which have a rather small chest - and on them it looks quite ok, it is distorted but with smaller breast sizes it is not that bad.

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom if you get a chance, could you update this thread on what is going on with the issue? I know it isn't a balance/game play problem, but... it would be nice to see that it is being worked on, especially since as others have indicated the art showing showcased new content of the crown store looks like it is not.

I know a female player I group with would have bought some of the costumes/armor sets except for the fact of the model distortions. So although not a gameplay issue, it might be a financial one.

Just saying that the topic of this thread has been light armor. With some stretching (pun intended) the heavy armors might be explainable.
