@ZOS_JessicaFolsom While we're on the topic of fashion, will we ever get the option to hide shoulders like we can hide our helms? It would be amazing to be able to cosmetically hide belts and shoulders on armor sets without losing the armor value. We're already allowed to do it with helm.
Also... Why are recolors of the costumes on the Crown Shop available on NPC's but we can't dye/buy those outfits? A character in Hews Bane has a Red and Black Corsetted Riding Armor... Yet we got the white and brown set.

This is especially awful with those shoulder pieces of the new Nightmother set, which is in thief troves. Those float far above and away from the shoulders of my character even I have the widest shoulder possible for my female avatar. It ruins the whole look, but I have to wear this armor piece to get the full bonus of the nightmother set.

You can craft another set, Nights Silence. It adds crit instead of weapon damage, but either way a build with this set is not minmaxed for highest damage possible.
I use this one on my crafter/quester, works really nice. Shes a khajiit as well, and wears an amulet and 2 armor pieces of this set.

ZOS confirmed it's unintended and is being fixed, so a re-install can't fix it.
Makes no sense really. They have made this amazing game, spent so much work into it. And then just take a shortcut on the armor. Why not want all parts of the game to be just as amazing. No lets settle for something less good just because it may require a bit more work. What? No, makes no sense. And as noticed now, that shortcut is coming back to haunt them. It could have already been fixed.

I agree with that one, I think that the skirt looks actually awesome on males as well.

I think it gives my little Bosmer a bit more junk in the trunk, though I may be in error on that, it definitely widened her hips a little, but not enough to bother me (have to put it back on her and see if she's suffering from Noassatall, hey it's a serious condition). This looks like a good faith effort to make the outfit fit our characters, some other outfits don't even give us that.I found one thing, where character shape is not conserved though. I tried it on my dark-skinned Redguard and I gave her a bit of a prominent butt, like I see it on native african females here - and that outfit converts it into a flat european one. I do not mind it, but it is something I found out.
I would too, as in pay a second time. I'm sure there are plenty of Big muscle-bound Orcs rocking the skirt and halter combo in Tamriel as we speak and I wouldn't want to take that away from them.MornaBaine wrote: »I would buy a male version of the Bosmer outfit with just the skirt in a heartbeat.

Well, it did not widen her hips, but the normal armor is narrowing it. The same character I showed in that picture above looks in normal armor like she would suffer from anorexia and like she would have a male hip section - and you see in the picture, that she is not anorexic at all and has a quite female hip section. Normal armor is just weird and messes with the body shape. In some armor my character has huge breasts, in another those are hardly recognizable.

It is rather baffling when faced with the overall visual quality of this game. Hopefully the powers that be will get back to us soon and address this issue. Even if they say they cannot fix it immediately I hope for some sort of explanation of their game plan for this.

Same here.
It is good that their new cash shop items look better, but I really hope for the fix for motifs as well.
