IMPORTANT UPDATE! ZOS PLEASE reconsider your decision to no longer make FEMALE Light armor!

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom While we're on the topic of fashion, will we ever get the option to hide shoulders like we can hide our helms? It would be amazing to be able to cosmetically hide belts and shoulders on armor sets without losing the armor value. We're already allowed to do it with helm.

Also... Why are recolors of the costumes on the Crown Shop available on NPC's but we can't dye/buy those outfits? A character in Hews Bane has a Red and Black Corsetted Riding Armor... Yet we got the white and brown set.

This is especially awful with those shoulder pieces of the new Nightmother set, which is in thief troves. Those float far above and away from the shoulders of my character even I have the widest shoulder possible for my female avatar. It ruins the whole look, but I have to wear this armor piece to get the full bonus of the nightmother set.

You can craft another set, Nights Silence. It adds crit instead of weapon damage, but either way a build with this set is not minmaxed for highest damage possible. :)
I use this one on my crafter/quester, works really nice. Shes a khajiit as well, and wears an amulet and 2 armor pieces of this set.

Mine is just a low level character, who needs this set for the 2m reduction in detection range while sneaking. She is an altmer with no natural talent for stealth, so this set comes in quite handy, but it looks so awful with it's shoulder pieces floating up and away from her shoulders and ruins her otherwise tall and slender appearance.

ZOS confirmed it's unintended and is being fixed, so a re-install can't fix it.

Yes, they reconsidered their decision - if it was one at all - and now just give it time, they are working on it and we see first results of their efforts in those new costumes and some changes in "older" ones.

Makes no sense really. They have made this amazing game, spent so much work into it. And then just take a shortcut on the armor. Why not want all parts of the game to be just as amazing. No lets settle for something less good just because it may require a bit more work. What? No, makes no sense. And as noticed now, that shortcut is coming back to haunt them. It could have already been fixed.

This is exactly what bothers me the most - on one side the game has so much quality, and then in other aspects it is so mediocre at best if not worse. This is actually really making me angry sometimes, about myself actually, that I support this with my money. I just hope they wake up and give all of the game the attention it takes to be the jewel in the dark of MMOs. It did them no good to got awarded the "best MMO 2015", because they think it was about the quality of the game, whereas it was just about that they made an effort to fix it. If they wont continue to make a real effort it won't be the best in 2016.

While it's unfortunate to see that the problem had to be as bad as it is before they noticed, I am heartened to see it being worked on. My hope is that we will soon either see more mod/dev feedback on this thread mapping out what they are doing OR a developer post covering the subject in some detail. The latter would actually make me happiest.

Well, the lately released costumes give me hope. My character looks a lot more like I have created her. She is slender, but she is not a model, but has flesh on her bones. In this new bosmer outfit she looks very much like the native warrior I wanted her to be. She has a muscular figure with well defined muscles and those can be seen and she is all but a doll in this outfit. So I am happy with that this outfit is respecting that body shape, which I intended for her, and finally she looks like I have wanted it.

They did nice work with the Bosmer outfits. My ladies have shape in the chest area, and I'm thankful. I do wish it had no halter on my male characters, so that it looked like a shortish lava lava. Would be reasonable garmet in warm climates.

I found one thing, where character shape is not conserved though. I tried it on my dark-skinned Redguard and I gave her a bit of a prominent butt, like I see it on native african females here - and that outfit converts it into a flat european one. I do not mind it, but it is something I found out.

I think it gives my little Bosmer a bit more junk in the trunk, though I may be in error on that, it definitely widened her hips a little, but not enough to bother me (have to put it back on her and see if she's suffering from Noassatall, hey it's a serious condition). This looks like a good faith effort to make the outfit fit our characters, some other outfits don't even give us that.

I would too, as in pay a second time. I'm sure there are plenty of Big muscle-bound Orcs rocking the skirt and halter combo in Tamriel as we speak and I wouldn't want to take that away from them.

Well, it did not widen her hips, but the normal armor is narrowing it. The same character I showed in that picture above looks in normal armor like she would suffer from anorexia and like she would have a male hip section - and you see in the picture, that she is not anorexic at all and has a quite female hip section. Normal armor is just weird and messes with the body shape. In some armor my character has huge breasts, in another those are hardly recognizable. And in the riding costume those are flat like a plank.

Hmm, I was wondering what was wrong this Trinimack armor on female characters. I guess your supposed to buy costumes. Game needs more money applied to the Dev team, what can I say. It feels like they have already given up on active development and are just letting it slowly die. Theives guild was a big disappointment after Wrothgar which I loved. Pretty sure Wrothgar was mostly developed a long time ago though. Like a year before it was released, back during the paid PC beta days when the Dev team was much larger.
I am mostly pleased with the current state of ESO. Please do continue to ban cheaters though and you guys have to find out who is duping gold and how because the economy is currently non-functional.

Well, you just expected too much. Adding guilds is different from adding provinces. They need a location for those, which makes sense, because these guilds are outlaws, both. So they add some smaller territory to establish these guild and provide game play for it. IMO thief guild is really nice and it is a non-combat activity. So clearly that is not really for those loving combat, but that was to be expected, because the thief guild had always as a rule, to not kill on the job, because they are not the dark brotherhood. Dark Brotherhood does not fight as well, they assassinate, this is as well a non-combat activity, if done correctly.

I'm very sorry, OP, but... America cannot have 'boobs'.
Therefor, the female form will be revamped into a male body, with a female head.
