Still entertaining revival of the thread though!

Show me when I even tried to siege a trikeep past 1-2 o clock in the morning with a organized group Kris. I'll make a character named "Kris is a lord" when you do so. Recent events plx.

But yeah, atleast the thread is alive :D

I remember someone who glitched inside and captured like 5 keeps and 2 outposts with his TS buddies at 5 in the morning not too long ago. Wonder who that was.

5 glitched keeps with TS 5 in the morning not to long ago? Lol okay.

I don't like running with TS groups early/late night. Prefer relaxed gameplay at those hours unlike some other people ;)

Can you show any pic of this 5-o'clock TS group flipping keeps? Preferably with a date aswell if possible. Which I guess its not

Let me set the scene for you:

It's August(?), late night / early morning and someone's female alt is number one on the leaderboards for his alliance. This person really wants to be emperor, but Roebeck, Ash, Aleswell and Chalman are held by an opposing alliance. Fortunately for this guy, he has figured out that there's a glitch he can use to bypass the keep walls and capture the keeps before anyone realizes what is going on. He asks his friends if they can help him, and they do. The group of friends first glitch in to Roebeck and sure enough, under a minute after it's status is switched to "Under Attack" with no sieges, the keep flips. Not too long after, the group of friends move on. Ash and Aleswell flip in the same manner; no siege, and turned within a minute of going under attack.

Now however is when the story takes a turn for the group of friends. As they move on to capture Bleaker's Outpost in the same manner as the previous keeps, they are met by the last four remaining opposing players. As you can imagine, when these opposing players see this group of friends inside the outpost that hasn't gone under attack yet, their suspicion is confirmed. ZOS staff had recently been making posts on the forums regarding cheaters, so scared of what consequences he might face, the person who wanted emperor buffs starts making up excuses: "It' revenge!", "DC always takes keeps at night!" he tells one of the opposing players.

I want whatever you are smoking.

You do know it's pretty easy for nightblades to hide inside keeps even after it flips/has been breached? Specially for magblades. Some do it without even being nightblades like the magician @Rarok_Yariy .

As far as I know, there's no rule against hiding inside a keep which enemies captured.

I never got emp or tried to get emp by "glitching in a keep", PvDoored have every side done to get it. Last time I PvDoored emp with a raid and ts at night, was with NL and EP pugs quite some time before august. But fine.

But you can claim whatever you want. Hf.
    Exploiters should be banned.

Agreed. Specially those who used the super gapclosers we had some time before. Like half of the current PvP population on EU TF.

Taking a scroll in a enemy keep solo is so pointless tough, you get killed every time since you are basiclly marked on the map. :<

Does his char name start with a R and is a DK? Who took the scroll from rayles some days ago? If so, he's not in our guild. ^^

What makes the Eso PvP the crap it is, is the community. 100%.

What you find in Cyro these days :
    - huge zergs that try hard groups 1/20 th of their size
    - Destro ult squads who trigger those huge zergs into bringing even more people inside confined areas causing tremendous lag spikes
    - Stealthers with procc builds who one shot you or run away if they first attempt fail
    - Stealthers who play in group to avoid failing the first attempt
    - Malubeth + Reactive templars (sooooo fun to fight)

You forgot the small groups of highly experienced players who prey on small groups of newbie players, triggering those newbie players to run in largers groups in order to protect themselves. These largers groups will soon be called zergs and the original reason for their existence will be forgotten as the highly experienced players complain about all the zergs.

Had a lot of fun in TF lately too.

Seems I enjoy it more when avoiding prime-time. Had to laugh earlier after seeing around 20 yellows taking resources at Rayles, one saw me and peeled off to come fight behind some rocks. Had a nice little 1v1 going for a while magsorc v magsorc.. pretty even - till his 19 mates turned around to steamroll. Made me chuckle, that did.

High burst stealthers playing in a group and targeting obvious soloers is pretty sad though. Didn't really see it since I started playing magsorc. I guess they mostly avoid anyone in hvy armour.

I quite honestly don't think it's true, and I think your cynical approach really isn't helping this community.

When you get killed by 3 people, I don't think your reaction is the same as if you get trampled by 20.
In one case you will probably question your build and how you played that fight, in the other scenario you will definitely tell yourself that you need to find a large group to run with, because no build whatsoever could help you survive 20 people. Is that being delusional?

The newer players mostly run in large groups because it's the only thing they see. That and the oneshot procs.
If more people played in small groups like we do maybe new players would give that play style a try instead of going to Cyrodiil to zerg surf, get their vigor and resume Pve.

Also I don't see why you keep saying that we prey on newbie players, we prey on everything that moves in Cyro, including general + ranks. Funnily enough those high ranks sometimes play as well as your typical tyro, but that's another issue.

I think that´s only one half of the coin - or more like one side of a D20.

You have whole grps permacamping in stealth - making soloplay unplayable without utilizing stealth yourself (as a result most former solo players are now in small grps).
Procc- and gankbuilds virtually oneshotting anyone not in HA or having active defenses/heals running (Leads to heavy armor/tank builds that are unable to be killed 1v1).
Organized midiumsized fotmgrps (once it was proxy now it´s eye of the storm etc pp) trying to farm every ap they can possibly get.
The games grping system allowing players to grp up with 24 ppl and as a result have highly organized grps of that size (big one in my opinion - organisation should be an achievement in largescale pvp not provided by the games UI).
Highdmg + higher defense meta where nonoptimised builds are absolutely useless (imo the difference between a "bad" build and a good one in eso is simply too large).
An absolutely hateful community that does not respect their opponents in any form and has forgotten that everyone is trying to have fun in this game (instead of being a walking ap piniata).

Imo the games biggest problems not related to actual balancing of skills and sets are:
    - grpsize and UI (mappins for grpmembers / crown for grpleader)
    - sneak having no drawback making everyone walk around invisible permanently

Organised groups with 24 people are usually terrible nowadays. The game is incredibly punishing to groups that have people slacking and so far I havent been in a single group that big yet that didnt get overrun quickly. There's just a lack of focus and coordination in groups of that size and now that barrier and purge are capped at 6 you can't just easily carry a big group like that through a tough situation.

On the other hand, running from keep to keep in a swarm of 60 people is a pretty safe way to play at the moment. There we have the current cyrodiil meta.

    Yeah they usually are nowadays.
However what those groups still achieve is making engaging any of their members near impossible to encounter for non stealth solo players or smaller grps (because of map pins - which could be fixed by making pins only work when in sight range).

I guess the only truly honorable way to play this game is either to be a perma stealthing, solo support nightblade or a reactive malubeth templar, right? This way you can claim the moral high ground and talk down on all these filthy small scalers who dare to create any pvp away from the usual hot spots.
