Question to the DC stacking 2-3 full groups (if not more) in Azuras

@allen-iverson I'm not calling out CN, I chatted with @NPK Daniel and a few others from his group. They stated that their group was almost full (about 20), and they had someone running a pug group. That's a maximum of about 50 people. We know based on names and numbers that there were at least two more groups (if not three) at times in the same place at the same time, each of them running between 15 and 20 players. The point I want to make is that they are all different with different leaders, all choosing to be in the same place.

As I stated earlier, most of the AD groups TRY to fight at different keeps and not overlap. It's disappointing, irritating, and unreasonable to expect a good fight when DC doesn't do the same.

To clarify the above, I have no problem losing a good / fair / reasonable fight.

It feels like a complete waste of time to have my 20 people rolled over by 80 opponents.

I used to hate it too until we learned to just sit back and laugh while we're dead via 80 people.

Khajiit feels it is time to interject that they can provide some level of substantiation about certain crowns not mucking about in huge hordes except by coincidence. In fact they can confirm that oftentimes they haven't the foggiest idea where they are until a keep is halfway taken. If the pack has nothing more important to do (like defending alessia from 3 bars of EP) then this one and the pups ride there as quick as they can to help. Usually we get there right as the walls come down or to repair the walls of a newly taken keep.

Needless to say this can easily lead to the doubling of numbers of Dumbminionites attacking a keep. And that's before other random people show up to help.

But since it seems that the got good players say Telel and three people are a zerg then this one understands how some might regard larger groups. Especially if the accuser got chilly and sought temprorary shelter amidst a big huddle of people who are just spinning in place.

It is so sad that keeping warm can prove so restrictive to one's vision is it not?

11pm eastern and they're still going strong. This time around one of our keeps, then around the Ash gate, so no chance of NPCs being added to the list:

[FTC] Jjarvis (+61) - 1:31 - 540,780 Damage (5,942.64 DPS)

[FTC] Ixi terminator (+53) - 0:11 - 68,491 Damage (6,063.83 DPS)

The lag is so bad that I can barely get skills off. Once again, how is this fun for them...? We are 15 in group..

Yea we all just logged. got better things to do. Probably come back in an hour or so when the baddies have their bedtime.

What bothers me most is that they're not baddies - there are some very good players in those groups.. People whose skills I respect and whose strategies are sound. Just.. what the heck is going on tonight especially..?

They cant win in an even fight so they bring 60+ people, plain and simple. No respect for people who do that. It ruins the game for everyone else trying to play. Funny thing is, take out the lag their blob causes and they would get rolled anyways. It is the lag they create that saves them from wiping all night long. Straight up pathetic...

I think I can elaborate on what @Crown is saying since Iam also apart of Victorem. We don't run more then 24 ever and for a while now its between 16-20. Right now this game is so broke and I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel for it to improve anytime soon. So as the player base we need to do a little policing the severs so we aren't fighting in a *** show. If there is already 20-40 of any faction at a keep then there is no reason for anymore to come there.(unless its the last emp keep to defend or take then everyone understands) When any faction is zerging down keeps with 80+ and yes it happens a lot that is no fun and indefensible. Right now DC has the numbers and hence why it seems that it is DC that is always doing the zerging. WE ALL do it but now WE ALL need to spread the *** out! The guild leaders of the factions need to communicate with each other in there respected faction and spread out, attack multiple keeps, take resources do something other then all stacking together to take 1 damn keep and then start the lag fest on the *** server.

Actually, the most delusional player on the server is your zerg leader and he has you all brainwashed into thinking that stacking raids is an acceptable strategy. If it didnt lag the server out nobody would care, but it does.

No, you're delusional if you don't see it. DC is literally stacking and stacking, not sure why, but it's the worst I've seen in a long time in PvP, and, yes, I play DC and have for a very long time.

@Dkill no one is making excuses. Facts are facts. Ask any guild/group leader from AD or EP and they all will say the same thing. I think maybe you all are delusional? I know CN runs a tight group right now of core people. They also run another group that isn't core. Deltia runs a full group also. Then you factor in the pugz that just follow around groups. It may not be intentional but you guys are stacking multiple groups of 50+ numbers a lot of the times. Instead of CN group leaders saying "hey Deltia how about you go flag some EP" no instead you all show up at the same place with 2-3 times the numbers. Spread out...and trust me Iam very *** vocal on AD zone chat about us spreading the *** out. *** I wont even tell people where were going just so people don't follow us or ill go hit a keep that is the farthest away from AD so we don't stack up.

Every time we win you guy complain, i am actually surprise you and Crown complaining, i am not surprise to see GRXKight, and not we are not doing this intentional either we promote the spreading as well.

The lag is bad tonight for sure, Don't really know of it is the stacking doesn't look any different then usual.

Numbers I have had to go against has never been a problem prior to the way the game is now. Its broke. Being a guild leader I need to try to keep the moral of my members high to continue to fight on in cyro. Right now its almost impossible with just the lag that the game has without the large battles. Factor in battles that are more then 100 its you'll be lucky to even get a ability off to do anything or a *** long ass loading screen. Only speaking for myself here and im sure others feel the same way were all *** tired of the game and its current state and are holding on by threads to continue on with this game. Im just suggesting we do our best as the player base...*** factions what color you fight for all that..we just need to do our best to eliminate some of the *** that zos has created for us. Spreading out will help. Communicating with other guilds in our factions will help. Cyro is very large and we all don't need to be bunched up on alessia *** bridge or ash mile gate when there is plenty of map to *** with.

Wait I missed the part where there was something wrong with running a full raid. Not only is there nothing really wrong with that, Crown doesn't do that very often. What we are talking about here is multiple, independent raids and maybe one or two guilds with two raids who are all saying "hey let's go hit Roebeck now" at the same time. It seems like this is happening and nobody is thinking "hey I wonder what they are doing over in the other guild. If they are going to Roebeck too then surely there is no need for us to be there, we should go to Chalman instead."

That last step is the one that is missing; nobody is "going to Chalman."

There is probably some kind of game theory issue at play here, like the Prisoner's Dilemma where you have to assume the other guy is going to screw you over, so you do it too to get the best result. (I think that's more or less the problem, I'm not a game theory expert). Nobody is playing smart here like you should play that kind of game. They're all just saying "hey let's all go hit the bananas."

If they were smart they would say well surely some other group has decided to hit the obvious target; so we don't need to take our full raid there too.

I logged, I don't normally run with large groups. I normally roam alone or with 2-3 other people anymore. However. tonight i think it finally sunk in for me.... AOE cap removal or not, this game has no future. At this point, I don't think ZOS can fix it...face it..ZOS don't want this lag anymore then any of us do, but were nearly 2 years in and its still not fixed....i have my doubts.

I do know one thing, there was no pvp to be found really...all i saw was large zergs on both sides and red ping lag(not saying they were yours, i know pugs follow the swords, it is what it is)...i was only on for about 15-20 mins and i logged....im not gonna waste my time with that kinda insanity, couldn't use my skills or do anything.

I've just been told from three different DC that most of the evening they had:
CN with their core group, and their second group.
AK with two groups.
HOD with one group and part of a second group.
There is a pug group of 12, and another of about 10.

There are times that they all go to the same place..
AD had:
Victorem with 20
When Victorem logged for the night, Rage formed up with 17
AC66 with about 22
Late evening (around 10pm) PWNY started with 8
This doesn't include Vehemence who tried to play for about 20 minutes in the lag and decided to leave.

Does that seem in any way even?

GoS just called it a night. The bleakers corridor was 60+ DC just swarming around. At least VE had the decency to pull back to their own little corner of hell and stay over there.

but the other 60 or so DC just have no respect for the performance of the server.

Then again, the AD/DC clash at Ash for an hour straight affecting the ENTIRE MAP was probably more to blame than any other factor. There were over 150 bodies in there, from both sides.

Its freaking ridiculous.

Unfortunately you may be right, but I think the point of this thread is not to complain about the game and commiserate about how hopeless it is, but to point out very fixable and somewhat transient player-caused problems. If you're at the point where all you see in any discussion is that the game is hopeless then you should go ahead and quit for your own personal sanity.

Yup that Ash fight is about when I logged off as well. I don't know what the other guilds were doing but I can assure you Victorem had had enough by that point.

@JDar the original point of the thread was to ask what's going on - DC stacking multiple groups happens often enough, though very very rarely to the degree we've seen tonight. It can't be fun for them to know that all they have to do is button mash and win automatically due to numbers, and the AP that they make is likely a fraction of what we're making, so it really doesn't make sense. Yesterday AD was far enough behind in points that to win the campaign we would have had to push both EP and DC back to their gates and hold them there for 24 hours (no way in hell that would happen), so it can't be a "win the campaign at all costs" thing either..

We all get a bit frustrated at times, but im not hopeless, lets hope im wrong.:)

At this point i'll just ride it out and see.

I will say though it would be nice if we could get folks to agree to spread a bit, and i really hope everyone can make some progress on that.

I still believe that we should keep the Faction/Guild hate to a minimum. Makes me not even want to read the forums. We should be discussing how to make the game better, not pointing fingers at each other.
