If you do not like democracies and prefer absolute regimes,
you are free to ask for citizenship in Russia or China if you think their rulers are better people.

ZOS needs to address this or risks going out of the console business.
MMOs are social networks. Such networks need more than only one voice channel per time.
Networking MMO people feel isolated in only one voice channel.
If people cannot communicate properly with friends and guilds, an MMO cannot prosper.
So which other system in your opinion delivers the best solutions?democracy isn't guaranteeing the best solutions.
As you can elect selected items from a crown store. Such systems have nothing to do with a democracy. If you do not understand the meaning of Democracy, try reading about it in Wikipedia.the people in Russia and even China elect their leaders too.
Have look in the mirror. Even after so many pages you do not understand how MMOs work. One starts to wonder why we need TextChat if people can't read well...
Thanks for reminding us about this reason for text chat.kaskel2000 wrote: »I also wonder about the hard of hearing. The original question to Zeni was from a hard of hearing person when they said yes there would be text chat. This game has basically discriminated against a group of people on console.

One starts to wonder why you play an MMO if you could be happy with a simple COD.

So if they would fix the switching between Area, Guild and Party VoiceChat, you would be happy too?

Hey, everyone. We understand that people are going to differing opinions, from time to time, but please remember to keep your comments respectful at all times on our forums, even when you disagree with others. There is no need for insults or other disruptive or trolling behavior. This does not help further discussion and can make a thread go off topic quickly. We encourage sharing opinions, but we ask that they are constructively stated and respectful when doing so. Thank you!

Guys, you're seriously wasting your time argueing with pino, its not that he doesnt understand, he just doesnt want to. He's always gonna keep coming back with some crap that has nothing to do with the discussion. We've pretty much countered everything he's come up with, yet still keeps going. He doesnt want text chat, we aint gonna convince him otherwise.

^You saying this shows your not very bright. How would you fix switching between chats genius? No matter what in order to talk to people in other guild/party/area chats you have to switch. Therefore text chat. Type once send to multiple people, guilds, or parties.
If it gets added I'll plug my keyboard in.

Another 'oh you're not in my team, so you must be stupid'. Ok.
May I ask you, do you do this in a random bar with strangers as well? Probably not. So, why are you doing it here?
Now, read it again. Did I provide a solution? No.
I just asked would you be happy if they solved it.

Are you aware that many people share my view?
No authority here, merely making an observation.

Can you explain why your arguing against something that can be toggled off? It would not effect you if you did not want it to. Simple. YOU, could still use voice chat if you wanted to, or turn both forms of communication off entirely if you did not want to communicate with anyone.
The fact that you are contesting the implementation of text chat despite being given the tools to turn it off allows me to come to the conclusion that you; just argue for the sake of arguing and do not REALLY have any REAL reason to oppose it.
