    If a templar can heal for 10k instantly (or cast 8 BoL's each second for 80k healed), why can't we heal for 20k after 8 seconds?

    This is actually a pretty big nerf compared to the previous functionality. But they had to b/c of the increased damage and targets.
    I still think most people with choose Draw Essence instead for the interrupt.

    Im am not sure if it was said in the vid or not, but something amazing about burning embers is even if its purified or purged, you still get the heal and don't have to cast the skill again.

    May get nerfed, but for right now thats pretty nice.

    With so much emphasis on using synergies in the new item sets it seems dumb to get rid of the magma shell synergy. Although it's cool that it doesn't require one and automatically shields group maybe the could keep it and widen the radius to like 10-12 meters

    The changes to Dragonknight are welcome, but we cannot base "FOTM MAGICKA DKS" purely on... DUELS. Especially if we attempt to base buffs on Templates that are running 3 infused, 4 divines (a.k.a. No Impen) and the fact templates only run 300 champion points. Not to mention templates do not have all the BiS gear or any real gear setup all of them might actually use or afford (A.K.A. Maelstrom weapons and golded gear).

    At the very least (and hopefully because of certain stated Cyrodiil lag fixes) ZoS should host a stress test (remember how ZoS' 1.6 stress test ended?) so that magicka dragonknights (and every other class) can be seen in an actual "open world" scenario.

    Magicka DKs have always been a great duel class due to the ability to actually use their DoTs (because not everyone has a pocket purger), and again open world is completely different than duels... I foresee a lot of magicka dks YOLOing into large groups expecting to permablock and kill many people [because in recent tests (duels) permablocking is (/always has been in duels) possible] but instead die instantly because they didn't build tanky enough, cry on the forums, and go to the next big FOTM class.

    The bad thing is that the people who will get magicka DK nerfed (again) are those that don't play the class, have been getting destroyed by them this PTS, and will whine to get them changed.

    Mark my words, snipers with 5pc Alchemist, 5pc Marksman and MSA bow will whine about their snipes getting reflected back at them a lot.. Just watch

    The bad thing is that the people who will get magicka DK nerfed (again) are those that don't play the class, have been getting destroyed by them this PTS, and will whine to get them changed.

    Mark my words, snipers with 5pc Alchemist, 5pc Marksman and MSA bow will whine about their snipes getting reflected back at them a lot.. Just watch

    Oh there's no doubt.

    The DK one-shot build will come back. The NB snipe from stealth build will come back, too. Guaranteed.

    Okay it's official, I was destroying people last night with a build that had 1100 regen and 2500 buffed spell damage. Magicka DK is back for sure gais!

    I guess you are talking about duels. We still should wait for the TG launch and then we can see is magicka DKs back or not. One is sure that in group play they will be awesome.

    Agreed. In bigger groups and duels they are performing better than live, but that's not where they needed help,

    They needed help in open world and small scale, and you can't really test that on PTS with duels as it's completely different setups and engagements.

    i can tell you right now that 1vX mDK hasnt changed. If you are inhaling and hitting that 6 player cap, you are going to die because inhale will heal you for like 6k max while those 6 dps the *** out of you. Burning embers can only heal and damage enough to sustain in a 1v1/1v2. I forsee too much micro management in 1v3+. All the other buffs were eh in 1vX/small scale.

    Burning talons would be the only thing i would test out. Really see if the damage is worth losing 15% damage reduction.

    Im gonna say that alot of these mDK rerolls are gonna be rerolling back to stam xD
