Agreed. Templar damage is fine if you build right for it. Templar just needs their CC to be reworked so they actually lines up and makes sense. For example, for magic, toppling charge into puncturing sweeps makes no sense. Maybe fix how buggy toppling is pretty plz? @Wrobel wants to increase the dot duration of the skills. But if he doesnt increase the damage we will have ticks with less damage than now. It will be a nerf not a buff. Even if they increase the damage, the DoTs in the current state are useless. Overall we're looking at buffing some of the less used ability morphs.
DK - We're looking at making their dots stick to targets longer. Templar - Increasing effectiveness of some of their damage abilities. Sorcerer - Making more active abilities instead of toggles. Nightblade - Morph and passive ability improvements.
- Because Templars just need more dmg, not an unbugged gap closer?
- Because Sorcs just need non toggled pets?
- Because NB passives aren't good enough?

Read this last week; felt my dream of playing Magicka DK was over. Changed my DK over to Stamina and one shot some poor soul with Taking Flight. Looks like I'll be a Stamknight for awhile.
I really don't see the advantage of longer dots for pvp. Unless he means they can't be purged??

Imagine a developer from a more established/older MMORPG answering like that? I mean, it's so clumsy, would never happened. Individual strength or solo'ing, as well as performing different roles, is the very core of class balance. Especially in games where BiS gear/weapons comes from solo challenges. I also agree with Jules, I also like playing the DK but after reading the post my plans have changed, I was going to level my newest DK atm she is level 44 was going to take her all the way to level v16 if the vet ranks are still around, But with all the bug's and the newest problem is the delay when in a fight ( some times it works most times I have to double click and some times it stop's working ) in the middle of a fight.
I am about to drop TESO and find a new game to play now is a good time to check out other game's like the "Pillars of Eternity" and The Witcher 3.
I have been playing this game for almost one year and I am still researching for the traits, My sub runs out soon and I wont be renewing it.
I am throwing the towel in.

What the hell are you talking about. There has always been class disparities in established MMO's for solo content.
Priests in WoW were always *** for solo questing and everyone accepted that because end-game priests were far and away the best single target healers and ranged DPS.
Other classes like Warriors were always considered starter classes because they were generalists while Druids/Shaman were considered advanced classes.
So if anything there was FAR MORE disparities between the solo capabilities of classes in established MMO's.
ESO has by far fewer balance issues than WoW typically had(I don't know if that's changed since Cataclysm though.
Edit: Having said all that, there is definitely a problem with the difficulty of VET MA, because not even 100 are even capable of getting on the leaderboard for all classes.
It's pretty pointless to have a leaderboard where just completing the arena basically guarantees you a spot.
