I was waiting for the moment when oiling a single blue would be compared to months of dual mundus exploiting. Thanks for making yourself look even sadder than this thread already did!

What kind of gameplay are you exactly talking about here? Trying to be some kind of an immovable turret tanking everything? It's not sorcs gameplay my friend, it's your gameplay. Of course your enemies can just stand still and spam their left mouse button and wreck you, because clearly you are standing still as well. Probably without using mines either.

Yeah I know it's a bit outdated considering its last patch but I think this is enough for you to understand how I play and I certainly don't stand still. It's far from perfect but I am outnumbered in every situation. (and i do use mines )

Hehe don't worry, I know how you play as we fought in IC yesterday. Just wanted to point out the absurdness of your arguments with a silly provocation, I mean if somebody can just stand still and attack, their enemy has to be standing still too. Then again all this venting out in shield breaker threads hardly counts as constructive arguing, so not really sure what's even the point of these threads except for people to lash out on each other. I understand your frustration though as I didn't need to use shield breaker at all. I think it means you haven't realized the full potential of shields and therefore feel the set is somehow unjustified.

What is your in-game name if you don't mind me asking? If you are going to stand by this set and defend it as being justified then I guess we will just have to agree to disagree.

Same as account name, only with spaces. Can't remember the district, was with the harvester boss I think, but I was running around all districts in a circular motion trying to find things to kill. You had a friend tag along at some point. Good fights that day though, 'cept for the EP who could only fight with the advantage of larger numbers

This set is just lazy and it's so sad to see that people are actually still trying to defend it. 1v1 this set is a laughing stock, I fought a NB the other day and just didn't refresh my shields and used heals instead to which he became completely useless. He just didn't know what to do anymore because his precious and lazy set was not helping him anymore. Before the fight he actually whispered me telling me that he would destroy me 1v1 and after I swept him up off the floor he didn't really have much else to say.

Any moron can pick up the set nice and cheap and manage to make anyone using a shields life a total pain. What if they implement a 5 piece set that breaks cloak? What if they made a set that went through dragon scales? What if they made a set that stopped the use of breath of life? Shields are a sorcs main defense and this set is just a completely lazy way around beating a good player.

You also mentioned I should "bolt escape away". Did you forget the fact that it now stacks and that will drain my magicka faster than you are draining my patience? This game just seems to keep aiming towards being "noob friendly" and it's gettin pretty tiring. Nerfing my shields by 50% and then implementing a set that goes through them? Have you put any thought to that or are you just so blinded by your tears that sorcs were slightly stronger than other classes in the previous patch?

You don't even have to wear a set to break cloak. Any aoe breaks it as you already know + Radiant magelight and detectpots on top of that which can give you spelldmg + magicka + magicka regen on use.

So you spend months of flaming people for using exploits and all the rest of it then because it is the "last day of 1.6" you then decide that it is alright for you too take part? The more you claim you were "only oiling a single blue!" makes you look even more stupid due to the fact there was 4 oils up on the tower that you were running round in circles pouring....

You have really shot yourself in the foot here bud, please be more careful next time you try to call someone out for exploiting.

Since sorc is the only one having issues with it since they only know how to shieldspam i ask myself if u ask urself what i ask myself

this more likely speaks for the zerg xD i mostly run a 4men group and never had issues like those. There are many ways to prevent healing.

BACK ON TOPIC:

As stated in this thread, this set is no problem 1v1 with the same bad players. This set, however, works SO well with stamina builds. Dueled a templar that, even without the set, was good. I managed to kill this guy twice, but since he was practiced and weaved attacks his normal templar dps added in with shieldbreaker, making it really hard to win.
