The down the road would give us ample time to collect and will still be a viable resource to trade for the potential of new levels.

The thing is, I think the 'time to stockpile' is exactly the reason they AREN'T doing that. They want us to play the game longer, though why the time we spend doing that stockpiling shouldn't count escapes me. Maybe it looks bad from a marketing standpoint?

It gives us time to stockpile, but when orsinium comes out then it will increase the drop rates, giving folks a chance to catch up a little bit. It's about a good rate of increase and making it worth while to tempt us with v15 and v16 gear. If V17 and v18 gear costs more, then most may not bother when it comes or will horde until it comes out.

This is a good point. I didn't think about how Orsinium would affect this. Now that they have gone back on their word of not raising the Vet Rank cap, Orsinium opens the door for more Vet Ranks as well as new material types, etc.

It's not that I don't have a problem with them increasing the material amount to create the newer gear. I get it, MMOs are inherently a huge grind. It's just the rate at which they have done this with zero explanation on it that really bothers me. Along with the abysmal drop rate of the materials.

I'd like to see the statistics on how many characters will have full sets of v16 gear by the time Orsinium is released.

welcome to the gear treadmill! the main reasons everyone wanted VR levels gone (and the reason Champion progression was introduced). now it looks like we have another DLC that will raise the VR cap as well... hope you enjoy ridiculous grinds just to compete, because that is what we are getting!

On pts I found the rare malachite ingot in a locked chest intermediate difficulty, in non-vet Bangkorai. It takes 10 of these to make 1 ingot. Haven'tfound a naturalminingnode yet. Anyone else find where? Did not see miningmats in IC.

There are no material nodes in IC (for any mats). And malachite doesn't have nodes either. That can only be found in chests

We do not know if Orsinium will raise vet levels again. But, do not count on ZoS not doing so either. Everything about Orsinium is pure speculation at this point. The only thing I can see Orsinium doing is releasing the same crafting mats and brining the required amount down to within reason. If they decide to release a new crafting mat with Orsinium then expect the number to be even higher. So, IC is a test of trying to get players to purchase and grind till they can release their next update. They knew IC was too small, the pve crowd would not be happy and some will not purchase IC at all. So they need to make that up in a bigger dlc next time which will probably cost more than 2500 crowns also.

Unknown. Haven't heard anyone who has done it. You do get one ingot from weapon drops in IC or from bosses and mini bosses in scaled dungeons, but nothing has been stated whether stolen weapons and armor will scale to those levels or not.
Far too many characters to list any more.

This is the best question ever. What level are white weapon pickups when you're VR15+ ?

Stolen weapons and armour will still be Nightwood/Voidsteel tier.

None of these weapons are obtainable with Imperial City.

Expect them in a future update to Imperial City.

Damn, how did I not notice that yet.

How can they do it again!?

No I'm pretty sure that the Agility/Endurance/Willpower Set weapons look exactly like the weapons in the picture.

ZOS: No one likes what you are doing. Stop it.

Honestly they must have blinders on. This new direction they are taking the game is terrible. They are making everything so much more grindy. And the only "reward" for all this grind is not being at a statistical loss to other players competitively.

You don't get better gear qualitatively, you just get higher quantitative stats.

Welcome to the world of B2P

ZOS had SO MUCH overwhelming support of the community for the subscription model. There were always dissenters that wanted F2P but the overwhelming majority was happy to pay if the quality stayed high and the content was rolled out consistently.

But we all know what happened then. Bugs, exploits, and lag for months, content promises were not met. They had so much goodwill and they completely squandered it.

If they couldn't release content on time under a P2P model, they can't with B2P. This timesink filler isn't fooling anyone.

Eso has no idea about item levels. The Really minor increase in stats between lvl V15 and V16 gear is so small it is deffinatly not worth the excessively long grind to get. PVE players do the grinding just so the PVP players can gank and steal all their Tal Val stones so they can make V16 gear. If ESO knew what they were doing the gear levels would be better set up. For example a level V14 white would be higher than a V13 gold but as it stands a V14 green is better than a V15 white so the gain for making improvements to gear is crap. It gives no reason to upgrade your gear with each level gained as your gear is basically the same for multiply lvls. I notice almost no difference in gear for a few levels so I stopped wasteing time and effort to improve it. Since the last update I noticed that my drain on health and magic have noticeably increased with lvls and even making the best new gear does not help. I run out of magic fast and as a mage you are useless without magic, and with light armor you die real fast. Before the update I could go through the sewers alone although with difficulty at V14 but now as V16 I can not kill 1 without being killed. At 2 lvls higher I should be stronger not weaker. They really messed up this game.

@mjstevenson1.msb16_ESO Was the necro really necessary? Also, if you're doing that badly in the sewers in the best gear then either your gear isn't actually the best or you need to L2P.
