Maybe the devs should rethink the entire idea if there are so many threads with people unhappy about it.

The complainers here aren't many in number, they are just particularly loud. And each one starts a thread like their idea is unique and interesting, but it isn't. Their extraneous noise should be contained to spare the rest of us.

They will file all of those threads exactly where they filed the hundred or so threads about the broken CP system that you so bravely championed the cause for..

From a guy who spent his first MMO days looting peoples bodies on Asherons Call I am all for PvP actually giving people a reason to fight and a little looting of stones isn't hurting you nowhere near as bad as losing everything you own because you didn't have your GSA or drop gear on you when you died <---- AC players will understand :)

Considering the majority of each thread has maybe one page worth of actual constructive criticism in it, it's even less useful than bite threads. These threads boiled down to a version of forum PvP in themselves, where players just Jab at each other all day like divorcees.

    I know I'm butting in so forgive me;
Allow IC dungeons to have TV stone rewards at a redced drop rate? All PvErs would have to do is spend minimal time within the city to discover the dungeon the first time and that is that. The reduced drop rate will make it less appealing for PvPers to grind, no risk of losing your stones, and they are repeatable. Discuss.

Ahhh I think I found out why he slapped me with an Ignore..

He trolled the heck out of me when I was trying to speak out about the CP in this game. I explained to him that the health and life span of this game are tied to the changes in how CP effects new players in PvP he simply told me "The CP system is here to stay and ZOS will never spend time/money to rework it" "And that if I did not like it to find another game"

I simply told him I had a file on my desk top labeled "James" where I had saved every time he said this to me. Well today I read this here.

Its been made very clear by ZOS that PVE players are not welcome in IC. The director of the game said basically if we want PVE content we can just sit and wait till they get ready to release it but for now its all about PVP and people who enjoy PVP. So I doubt they do anything like this. Its ok if they dont change some things I simply wont buy it.

I've seen this mentioned a few times in various threads now, so i'll clarify some here. Imperial City is meant for the PVP player - it's their turn for some love. If you love PVE and are clamoring for more of that type of content, the Orsinium DLC will be exactly what you want.

Wait now what frack love have PvE community got last 8 month to me info the have got as little love as PvP community we have see no content up for at least last 8 month and ZoS have stomach to say "PvP player - it's their trun for some love" serious ZoS name one thing the PvE community have got in last 8 month and dont come here tell me that item in crown store is thing for PvE community for PvP community benefit as much for those item as well.

So what ZoS PvE communtiy have grind Craglorn to get VR 16 until you guys feel it is time get release Orsinium DLC come on now you add 2 new VR lvl and then you expect half of playerbase grinder those 2 lvl and you hope people wont stop play ESO for the hate grinder??

Hope for you sake ZoS that Orsinium DLC within the next 2 month after that Imperial City DLC is out or i tihnk you will lose more player.

There you have it, from the Horse's mouth.

If you don't do PVP, then you have no reason to buy Imperial City. It's not for you. period.

there is no point in continuing to complain about the Tel Var Stones. It's not designed for you, so you have no reason to bother with it. Just save your money for Orsinium, and let the PVPers have their expansion.

I feel sorry for the Ganker tryhards who thought they were going to get some easy Carebear prey, but this Expansion is for PVPers, and no PVE Carebear should spend money on it. have fun getting stomped by real PVPers.

I am only a V4 and have yet to master the PvP aspect of the game, even though I used to love PvP in other multiplayer games, so my time will come. However since they are increasing the ranks to V16 the problem is that this content will affect every player wanting to max their account, not only the PvP'ers.

I understand this is a PvP update, but its not just a new game type, its something that PvE'ers will have to do to get from V14 to V16. Here we are not talking about gear because you can always buy that.

With this update you will be forced more than before to do PvP content to obtain the max level in this game. If this is the way ZOS intented the game to be, then hooray. However I think you should be able to gain various levels through PvE & PvP so you always had the choice of content and would "equally" get the same xp.

PvP content are lacking a bit compared to the PvE and this will be a nice edition. They just did not think about the 2 new veteran levels affecting everyone..

The one thing that every succsessful game with both pvp and pve has implemented is two types of items. The pve players have their gear then the pvp have another set of gear. Every game that has tryed to only cater to just one side has failed.

This all could have been avoided by releasing orsinium first. Then noone would have any complaints. Both sides would have stuff to do. Instead the first DLC after waiting months and months alienates 75% or more of the players. How long are us PVE centered people supposed to stick around and wait for something to do? Another 6 months till orsinium IF its that fast? This game is going to sink quicker than the titanic if they dont hurry up and put out new content for EVERYONE.

Another 6 months till orsinium IF its that fast? This game is going to sink quicker than the titanic if they dont hurry up and put out new content for EVERYONE.

What PvP content is being included in the Orsinium update?

This is completely new news to me.

I think the problem that is at the crux of this issue is that ZOS is charging for something that should have been given as an update. If this DLC was free as a "hey we know we left pvp without worthwhile content for a year, and we know everyone is clamoring for some new stuff so to show how grateful we are for our community. DLC for everyone!" The Tel Var stone looting wouldn't be as big of an issue, at all. Now come to find that the only way those who choose not to buy the DLC have to obtain their materials to craft the vr15-16 armor, that is an even bigger annoyance.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out though, should make for a good watch at the least.

My biggest fear in life is, ending up marrying a girl who is lactose intolerant, think about it you would have to purchase double the amount of milk every week, cause you enjoy the goodness of full cream milk and she is drinking soy beans, and her milk takes up extra room in the fridge, or when you are doing a midnight run to the fridge to get a nice cup of milk and to accidentally pour some Soy milk.

    I hope you're exaggerating here...

There is a staggering amount of PvE content in this game. PvPers have been playing the same content in Cyrodiil since launch and the zone itself was relatively untouched since then as well outside of balancing changes and bug fixes. By comparison, we got Craglorn, Upper Craglorn, 2 New Veteran Group Dungeons, Trials, and Dragonstar Arena last year; those are all part of the PvE experience.

It's about time that PvPers do get Imperial City. Orsinium was delayed just like Imperial City was, but I'd rather ZeniMax focus on making the entire zone itself very high quality PvE content that takes full advantage of solo play. I'm also hoping that they finally introduce another new solo instance feature for instanced dungeons so you can choose to play them by yourself and content will scale to match your level afterwards. It's possible they are keeping that for Orsinium, but I won't hold my breath just yet.

Other than all of that, your next point was on the VR cap being extended to VR16. I'll echo the words of @ZOS_GinaBruno and say again that there have been XP changes across the board that will make it much easier to accumulate XP towards ranks when the Imperial City update goes live. It will also take less XP to rank up from VR1 to VR16 than it did for VR1 to VR14 due to the new system in place.

Hope that clears things up. :)

The Crowns you were awarded at the beginning of the switch to ESOTU when the Crown Store opened up and the game went buy-to-play was ZeniMax's way of telling their players: "Hey. We know you subbed for this content, so here are the Crowns you can use to purchase them when they come out later on."

When the Crown Store was announced, they detailed what the ESO Plus membership was and that DLC would be paid content people will either need to have an active sub or pay in Crowns to unlock the DLC content. Many players who did play since beta, launch, and any other time during v1.X.X decided to save their Crowns for the DLC.

Others, like myself, spent it on various goods available on the Crown Store, and we're just ESO Plus members instead. (I have this thing for owning all the mounts in MMOs. o3o)

Regardless of what you did with the Crowns obtained through there, ZeniMax did reimburse us for a reason. :D

I think ZOS would have saved themselves a lot of grief if they just said when giving out the free crowns at TU release:

"We know you expected some content that was already announced would be part of the base game, but since it won't, here are some free crowns you can use to obtain the DLC when it comes out. You dont have to spend the crown on that, but that is your decision."

Are you even reading what I wrote. If they had put Orsinium out say August 1st and IC out August 31st we wouldnt be having this conversation. How do you get from that PVP content is being included in Orsinium?
