No to VR16

    The whole point of new vet ranks is to get NEW gear. If you can just upgrade your old gear why on earth would anyone buy the new areas? What you call "grinding" is playing the game. Leveling up. Advancing your character with new gear etc. If everything always stays the same people get bored and quit. If you are handed things where is the sense of accomplishment?

    You are the one who doesn't get it, by increasing the VR cap you indeed get new gear, if content is released with that upscale of course, but you also REMOVE every viable items from previous tiers. What's the point of costumising your character if you are limited to a dozen of item sets and loose all the possible benefits you could have gotten with all previous item sets existing in this game ?

    If you think a game needs grind to keep people in it, explain to me why some FPS, MOBA and other genres keep their player base without doing so?

    You don't need extra levels to release content... But you sir need those 2 extra VR lvls, otherwise you won't even have a reason to play the game, even if ZOS gives you a ton of content. Instead of creating your own purpose/objectives in the game, you need someone to hold your hand (in this case ZOS) and he needs to tell you everything you have to do...

    I guess :/ but that's if zos's lazy butt decides to scale the stuff up, even something as simple like scaling they have trouble doing.

    Why dont you try listening to the WHOLE part when they talk about increasing the veteran ranks, then you will have a more intelligent way of thinking about this :smile:

    I say "leave the Vet Ranks' in the game. What on earth would it accomplish by having them removed when at the end of the day, you will still need to complete Cadwell's Silver and Gold anyways. All i see is extra work that is really unnecessary that could end up breaking the game and trigger even more bugs. I say, leave them in. With all the XP boost they are adding to the game, along with reducing the amount required to gain per Vet ranks, that is already a way more positive change. By working on removing the Vet ranks will also keep actual content being released sooner and more regularly because too many resources will now be tied into removing vet ranks which i heard is quite a lengthy process due to everything being tied into the Vet rank system. So simple solution, JUST LEAVE VET RANKS IN THE GAME! Those XP buffs etc have already solved the problem IMHO.
