Lucky for me, I haven't hit VR 15 yet so it's all the same to me right now lol. But look forward to much whining on my part when VR 17 comes out...

Speak for yourself. I, for one, am glad that they are expanding the veteran ranks.

Removing veteran ranks was never a possibility. Absolutely everything in the entire game depends on it.

For those who don't want it, sorry. Earn the veteran ranks just like everyone else has.

Of all the things that bother me (mostly "everything for a limited time" crown store whale milking), this probably bothers me the least.

Please answer me, what the hell difference does it make if you are veteran level 16, or level 75?

You have to get new gear either way. This is true with expansion level cap raising in ANY game. The numbers are purely cosmetic; it literally means NOTHING whether it is level 75 or Veteran 16 or Taco 43. It is a meaningless designation of rank.

People obsessed over the removal of veteran ranks have yet to give me a single decent argument as to why.

The best I can think of is that they want cross-faction zones where you can flag as PVP and each faction has its own UNIQUE quest hubs, instead of the Cadwell Time Warp, and I would like this too. I just don't think ZOS wants to invest the money in that sort of overhaul.

Not when people are willing to throw money at mount skins to "support the company." Where is the incentive to EARN out loyalty?

People want what gone? The name VR? Then remove VR as a prefix and give us all level 66/7 (level 50 doesent really count)

In fact im am wanting the ability to remove the exp component of the scrolls and ambrosia to stop my champion point rerolls leveling so fast.

1-50 in 3 days
VR1-5 in 4

in the last month I have made 4 VR 5 level characters alone

how can this be "slow leveling"?

The benefits (for ZOS) of making VR 16:

- Without content to coincide with VR16 it will increase the need for XP scrolls
- If they decide to merge VR levels back in to regular levels, they can safely merge VR 16 in to "lvl 65" without needing to further adjust the level cap.

The "benefits" (for us) of attaining VR 16:
- New content
- New Abilities
- New Skill Trees
- Purchase/craft new gear

Yes, but not like this. Vet ranks are by FAR the most unpopular aspect of ESO.

Seriously though I'm new to ESO being on Console and all, but I'm VR1 and don't see much issue. I wasn't there for the great 12 month content drought many talk about but you weathered through that so honestly how is 2 VR all that bad?
