You know what would be hilarious? What if Eclipse blocked Bolt Escape, just imagine the rage hahaha. Oh dear, I dread reading the upcoming 1.6.1 patch notes and see the impending nerf to Radiant Destruction, by the time this patch goes live, Templars will be begging ZoS to give them back Blinding Light.

Block casting dies with 1.6. Stamina drains super fast when blocking in PTS. Iv witnessed players with SHIELDS lose block quickly.(so unless it is changed in the following month, this is what 1.6 block casting will be like)
Damage shield spam/stack will become the new norm in PvP. (If 1.6 goes live the way it is)
If this happens PvP dies:(
hopefully that does not happen.
Remember in all those posts where I told ya if Block Casting is removed people will switch to shield spam..

Speak for yourself. Attack speed was practically useless, even with close range melee weapons. Even at 5-6k damage, the new skill sounds much better. You don't have to just sit there spamming light attacks, you're more likely to get to 8 attacks by weaving light attacks in before your regular skills. Once the skill is ready to use, it doesn't really matter if you even have a chance to use it during that particular fight because you can just save it as part of your opener for your next fight, potentially increasing your burst damage a good deal.
Also, is the skill instant? I'm hoping yes, because that would make it even that much more useful as either part of a finishing rotation or as part of an initial burst attack.

Don't say that ***, especially what with other classes are capable of doing and have done previously in both PvE and PvP. I so do not want to hear this bully horseshit about Templars being overpowered.
What it is my friends and enemies, is nobody is used to Templars being a genuine Kill-Threat in PvP and not being shoehorned into one of two roles in PvE, and thus they freak out without realizing that's what they looked like for 8 months now.
I repeat yet again, I do not want to hear this idiocy about Templars being too strong.
Because we still have to go about doing what we do in a very specific way, unlike Dragonknights and Nightblades.
If anybody gets to call *** on us, it's anybody who isn't a Pet based Sorcerer, since they are not literally in the same boat that we were in not too long ago.
In what world do you believe Templars are somehow weak on Live servers right now in PvP?
Templars are incredibly dangerous on Live right now. in fact they're probably the best if not second best duel class in the game.

So the new AoE thing.... If Sap Essence hits 60 people in PvP you'd be relatively unkillable... What with... 200x60 heals coming in every time you hit the ability. At least if you're a magicka based build.

I think it was about 14 GB.How big is the patch? In Gb? This one looks big.
Are you guys concerned at all about the serious amount of nerfs your placing on vr14 folks who have put serious time and effort into your game ? All the end game armor is useless now...and your expecting us to put time into a new leveling system with no new content . I'm honestly under the impression you don't care about us....and I'm getting the same feeling from alot of the community.

The reasons consist of fire being rather omnipresent in PvE (compare the amount of fire-themed bosses to the ones dealing frost damage). And the fact that the devs actually tried out PvEing with vampires and found out fire-damage bosses tend to oneshot them, which does not make for very fun gameplay.

Q: "Have you done anything with Drain Essence so it’s usable in trials?"
EW: " Yeah, I don’t know much work we’ve done with that in general, but there are other things I would like to work on with vampires. Like that and the 50% more fire damage is a little too much. In some of our tests, when we fight bosses with fire damage, they generally one-shot people, and so I would like to look at, in general, reducing that vulnerability and then looking at other abilities so that they are not too powerful afterwards."
