ESO is also now the 4th highest-rated game on MMORPG.com. This is pretty darn impressive considering that the site has nearly 800 listed games.
If you haven't already, go give it a rating and maybe we can overtake The Secret World - it's been the highest-rated game on the site for 2 years in a row, closely followed by GW2!

Obviously a lot of other people disagree with you on their importance and impact on their enjoyment of the game. One drawback of an audience drawn from single player games is a contingent of players with wildly unrealistic technical expectations for complex online multiplayer games. Relative to other MMOs that I've played ESO is uncommonly stable, not uncommonly bug-ridden.
