    The Veteran Rank System in this game is the absolute worst thing about it, and it went being a cheap cop out to a total *** that ZoS can't seem to reign in despite it being as simple as placing better gear at harder to reach places, i.e FREAKING RAIDS.

    Seriously this trial *** is a joke, it's a fun little side project but god damn it we want Raids, legitimate end game raiding content that takes the week to perform, and MULTIPLES OF THEM, LIKE 3 OR 4 OR EVEN 5. NOT TWO OR WORSE YET ONLY ONE DAMN IT!

    Also, no love for Melee again I see, or Templar's. Man, you guys must really have one hell of a *** for magic users. And before anybody says I'm wrong, let me just tell you this:

    Destructive Reach, instant cast ranged knock back. Destruction Staff skill morph, and clench is melee but still instant and has a stun.

    Uppercut - Cast time, consumes more stamina, melee only, and can be blocked.


    What were you saying again? Oh yea, ZoS shows blatant and *** favoritism towards staff and magic users, and I say this as a melee magic user, so this isn't bias being shown here.

    Other than that this patch actually looks good. Just, for the love of god, hurry the hell up with doing what you say you're going to be doing lol And be sure to listen to your playerbase, we fund your paychecks damn it.

    It seems they'd rather be playing call of duty and have not even a 1% available power gain ever exist. This is an RPG... if you don't like to earn things or continue an adventure, you're probably playing the wrong genre. That's my two cents.

    You do know when I keep block up with my shield, my stamina protects me from a bloody group of attackers. Even if it would help my weapon attacks, no. Block is WAY to powerful to not drain stamina.

    I think they did too. Still though he's right, why the everliving hell isn't Uppercut either .5 seconds or instant yet when damn near everything else is? It's a useless move, much like the rest of the weapon skills.

    So much of our rage comes from them not listening to us and not giving us enough feedback. My suggestion would be to halt everything you are doing in regards to making the game look prettier. That means art, animation, and particle effects and whatever else you guys are working on and then FIX the things that we WANT. Nobody is complaining about the animations, or the lighting or the textures. What we are complaining about are the broken spells, the class imbalance, game stability, and economy. Please fix those things first. Get it to the point where we are not flooding the threads with these constant issues and we will gladly embrace all those awesome things you have planned. Maybe start a poll and find out what our priorities are. You might be surprised to learn that animation for the way we fire our staff is not listed among them, nor is the way that light comes in through windows. C'mon guys!

    Right. All those artists and animators should get to work on ability balancing ASAP. because some guy on the forums said that this is what WE WANT. Sounds like a perfectly well thought out idea from someone who really understands how game development works.

    It's a beautiful game, now if only it worked reliably. I'm sorry if it offends you that I'm unhappy with the current direction of the game. I have never played an MMO where it seems that there is more concern for it looking better than making sure that the game play mechanics work properly. I am not suggesting that the animators are responsible for that, but maybe they need to hire better/more programmers and more testers because it's not the art and animation that's suffering in this game. And please tell me who it is that is responsible for the animation that causes my bow to look like two daggers and then give me a way to contact them so that I can tell them that the weapon swapping is still not fixed after a month and counting. The light in stained glass windows looks great though.

    THE WEAPON SWAPPING BUG IS STILL NOT FIXED!

    Your weapon swapping bug might not be fixed, but they certainly fixed mine. Since the patch, I have had no issues with weapon swapping, in or out of combat.

    The only issue I had with weapon swapping was the one they fixed in the patch.
    So it's not broken for you. Not really relevant but good for you. It's broken for many other people and it shouldn't be.

    You're misunderstanding the point the person was making, that you can't combine resources from different departments to get stuff done quicker. Slowing down on art and animation wont get balance and gameplay fixed any quicker, I believe is the point the person was trying to make.

    I know of 100 members in my two guilds that have given the game 6 months to get it right, and will not be re-subbing come september. These players range from PvE to PvP. The main reasons are a Lack of challenging content or even any type of serious raids. Killing a boss in 15 seconds does not count as a raid. PvP from it's lag as the game can not support the amount of people you claim it can, which is false advertising, chuck in the exploits and the big difference between stamina builds / Magicka builds and my guilds are being destroyed.

    Just look at the PvP area's, two are populated with Medium or above, the other 3 are empty, which was the same before you changed the format. You must of known this, but have not addressed why this is a problem. How about you get rid of the Campaign restrictions, no home, no guest, one leader board. When one server is Full, the other becomes unlocked and people can join it. It also needs to have equal players on all side, I was recently in Chillrend with 24 Pact in the Zone, 4 AD and 100 DC. Pointless campaign. Yes I know the numbers, because I speak to both Alliances regularly! The other problem you have with a campaign like this, you will have like 48 people on one side which is DC playing till 4am capping the whole map, so people leave from the other alliances and more DC join because of the dam buffs that are usable outside of Cyrodiil. Remove that straight away.

    Do I invoice you for my 250 Slot TS Server and the £500 I spent on a website, because so many members of my guild are quitting because of the direction of this game. Also for websites you promote guild launch, have you even seen one? They have nothing designed for ESO. Why? Your API restrictions are laughable. Complete Joke.

    I expect the 775k Subs you have after 3 Months to drop by half, as most people will give a new MMO 6 months to fix it's main issues, which you have failed to do.

    Why increase the level cap? Just increase the gear set stats, as most other MMO's do when new tier raid content comes out.

    Congratulations on making some quick money, I hope none of you are given Jobs to work on any other MMO's. So much potential, ends in this under par product. Lots of false advertising, Level 50, there is no Level 50... You go from 49-VR1... You keep adding PS4 / Xbox One to the trailers... You can't play on these formats and probably never will. Console players are far worse than PC Gamers, they won't play a game that is this buggy / laggy. Given the fact my pc destroys both consoles in power and graphics, It will be amusing to see how they handle Cyrodiil with 100+ in one area.

    It's interesting when at QuakeCON all the most relevant questions given to you to be answered had nothing to do with the MAJOR issues in this game. Hand picked to make the game look better and fixing it's problems. You are only as strong as your weakest link, I think we know what that is.

    Thanks for some enjoyable moments. In the end it was a waste of my time and money, if the world was a fair place and not ran by the super rich, you would need to refund every single player.

    EDIT* To be honest? This kind of reminds me when Final Fantasy 11 went down and 14 tried to take it's place the first time, and was such *** that it was actually worse than the atrocity that was FF11. So bad in fact they took it down, fired everybody involved, and rehired and rebuilt from the ground up. I don't know about you guys but I get the feeling that's a very real possibility here.

    But hopefully dont go the wow clone route if they end up having to. Close them, fix the balance, fix the bugs, fix the content selection, actually test sytems, reopen.

    Id say if update 5 contains as little as this in terms of attempting to fix long time bugs and balance issues the'll need to. Will be around the end of any 6 month sub as well.

    The main problems are:

    They haven´t enough time to fix all bugs and things that are making problems. Most players do not take notice of this work and fixes. On the other hand there is too much to do to bring really new content.

    Coloring stuff is nice, really, but 8 of 10 players say: hey... ok... ive colored something... next pls..

    How should i explain... there are much things theoretical to do... but most are really fast done and the gamers feel bored.

    I really think a re-open like Final Fantasy did is the right step.

    I am sorry, and I normally don't post sarcastic replies, but you are playing MMO for all the wrong reasons. You must accept that Tamriel (as well as Telara, Tyria, Norrath etc) is an evolving world and that not all subscribers of the game are satisfied of hitting a sense of 'completion'.
    If you're looking for the sensation of "hell-yeah-i-am-awesome", stick to single player games. MMO's are, or at least should be imo, an ongoing character development in a constantly evolving world, giving you all the good reasons to pay for one more month.

    As said above I find that there are contradictions in what you plan to do.

    Increase veterans levels as you expect changement in your veteran system ? Is not that a bit contradictory? (I probably am wrong, but it seems strange). What I find unfortunate as the inside is that the players do not have time to finish their legendary stuff they already have 2 new veterans ranks to achieve, it is certainly good does the game evolved, but players do not have time to play every day will be penalized on their stuffs. I think if you want to increase the level does not increase 2 by 2 but made ​​more level for big update.

    I completely understand what he's saying. Maybe I wasn't making my point clear. There seems to be a department that is under performing. The fact that other departments are doing a great job only makes it more obvious. If they lack the resources to create a stable working game then maybe it's time to cull the art and animation department and hire more people that code the game. Or hire more testers. Or just fire everyone and hire better people. See my point now? It doesn't feel like they are really addressing the problem. I never suggested that people in art and animation should be doing anything other than what they do but rather that some priorities must be taken. If they do not have the resources to make a stable game then maybe they should free up those resources. Or to put it another way: I don't care how pretty the game is if I can't play it. If you like the game the way it is then fine, that's your opinion. I am not satisfied with a broken product that I am paying for.

    The QuakeCon thing is very true. Matt Firor actually said that they got all the major problems gone. He said this with a straight face while the rest of us were at home attempting to play his game without crashing in Cyrodiil, or attempting to swap our weapons and have the correct one in our hand, or myriad of broken abilities and inaccurate tool tips.

    I do not think things are as bad as FFXIV. I played that game the first time it came out and yeah ESO is way better. Let me be clear, I love this game very very much. When it works it's an absolute joy to play. But they need to know that we will not tolerate paying for an unplayable game. They need to fix the bugs that currently exist and they need to try harder to make sure those bugs do not make it into future updates. I know that there will always be bugs that make it through, but some of these bugs have been so obvious and so immediately apparent It's mind boggling how they were not noticed.

    Then there is the issue of sloppiness like inaccurate and unclear tool tips. It's as if there is nobody there that reads them to make sure they are correct. They also need a better method of communicating to us about the bugs we do report. They could reduce so much rage if they simply addressed the issues quicker and more clearly. When weeks and weeks go by of people submitting bug reports and creating dozens of threads on issues that go unaddressed then we start to feel ignored.

    And that is why Matt Firor should not have a job anymore, plain and freaking simple. It's like when Fable first got released; That poor *** had to go and apologize for the game he made and advertised, but seriously failed to deliver on. It's ironic as hell that this game is doing this poorly when it was Elder Scrolls that put Fable to shame.

    All they doing is giving you more rank not more of the system. The veteran rank system is changing by getting rid of vet points turn it into just regular xp so you can level faster than you can get new champion points for perk system to help make you toon stronger. Still going to have vet ranks.

    Zenimax has officially stated many times that veteran ranks will be disappearing.

    I know of 100 members in my two guilds that have given the game 6 months to get it right, and will not be re-subbing come september. These players range from PvE to PvP. The main reasons are a Lack of challenging content or even any type of serious raids. Killing a boss in 15 seconds does not count as a raid. PvP from it's lag as the game can not support the amount of people you claim it can, which is false advertising, chuck in the exploits and the big difference between stamina builds / Magicka builds and my guilds are being destroyed.

    Just look at the PvP area's, two are populated with Medium or above, the other 3 are empty, which was the same before you changed the format. You must of known this, but have not addressed why this is a problem. How about you get rid of the Campaign restrictions, no home, no guest, one leader board. When one server is Full, the other becomes unlocked and people can join it. It also needs to have equal players on all side, I was recently in Chillrend with 24 Pact in the Zone, 4 AD and 100 DC. Pointless campaign. Yes I know the numbers, because I speak to both Alliances regularly! The other problem you have with a campaign like this, you will have like 48 people on one side which is DC playing till 4am capping the whole map, so people leave from the other alliances and more DC join because of the dam buffs that are usable outside of Cyrodiil. Remove that straight away.

    Do I invoice you for my 250 Slot TS Server and the £500 I spent on a website, because so many members of my guild are quitting because of the direction of this game. Also for websites you promote guild launch, have you even seen one? They have nothing designed for ESO. Why? Your API restrictions are laughable. Complete Joke.

    I expect the 775k Subs you have after 3 Months to drop by half, as most people will give a new MMO 6 months to fix it's main issues, which you have failed to do.

    Why increase the level cap? Just increase the gear set stats, as most other MMO's do when new tier raid content comes out.

    Congratulations on making some quick money, I hope none of you are given Jobs to work on any other MMO's. So much potential, ends in this under par product. Lots of false advertising, Level 50, there is no Level 50... You go from 49-VR1... You keep adding PS4 / Xbox One to the trailers... You can't play on these formats and probably never will. Console players are far worse than PC Gamers, they won't play a game that is this buggy / laggy. Given the fact my pc destroys both consoles in power and graphics, It will be amusing to see how they handle Cyrodiil with 100+ in one area.

    It's interesting when at QuakeCON all the most relevant questions given to you to be answered had nothing to do with the MAJOR issues in this game. Hand picked to make the game look better and fixing it's problems. You are only as strong as your weakest link, I think we know what that is.

    Thanks for some enjoyable moments. In the end it was a waste of my time and money, if the world was a fair place and not ran by the super rich, you would need to refund every single player.

    One day the people of this world will unite and install a New World Order where greed and corruption is abolished. Not going to happen because of your attitude for giving up.

    Instead of manning up your now not being constructive. Instead of giving advice you complain, complain and complain. You rush though the game and now you sad. Your getting more content and now your sad but now you wish for them to fail.
    Your turn a cry for help into to PC is better than console. Is end game really that bad is pvp really that bad because one. I have been playing this game since late April. I have not even reach vet 12 because I took my time and set up my toons. I have not rush to the end of the game like you may have and I am enjoying the game like an elder scrolls game. You enjoy the dialogue, the story, the art, and the way the game play. I love the direction that they are going. It is going to be a great game once the systems are established in the game. Why the haters going to be on the sidelines bring up negative thoughts like you do.

    It worked though XD Not the most amazing thing no, but it was far from bad or failing of a population.

    Also Radiant A.I is more fitted for basic NPC's, not so good for followers as we have seen in it's first test (or at least my first test as Skyrim is the only Bethesda game I've played that allows followers) and will only improve with time. That said, SKYnet anybody?

    Please don't just listen to those who feel anything is wrong.

    ESO is very much just where is supposed to be! You have the numbers! You must see the increase in players!

    We do understand that the champion system must be done well, to slot in with all future coming additions.

    ESOs biggest strength IS that its ESO, and not like any other game!

    We like it! We like the "tweaking" and not fast buffing to balance things.

    We like the future content, but do not want it done in haste of fear of "loosing" players just because users on these forums saying things that most players do not agree with. They are not here to back up what I say, because they are in the game, enjoying the hell out of ESO!

    Even our small guild has started to get applications from for us, unknown players. They find us on google, Reddit or something. This....only happens when a game is growing! No way, that our guild, who stated we are not elite, we will not beat the best trials and not be masters of PvP. No way we are the choice for most players. But if we get knocks on our door.....bigger, better guilds must get even more?
