    I was able to play in Bleakrock without a single crash! Before it would crash every few minutes. I literally couldn't go 5 metres without a crash! Lets hope this the last I see of it. :smiley:

    Since the 1.4.3 patch on Monday, I have not seen the "artdata" load error even one time. :D

    I've only had the opportunity to play for one extended session so far, but I am cautiously optimistic.

    I'll be pushing the game quite a bit harder later on today, running through heavy pop areas, and into Cyrodiil, just to see if the error returns.

    I'll post my findings for you.

    Have been playing all day today and not a single data load failure. I'm hoping this isn't just a fluke and that it stays this way :)

    @ZOS_JasonLeavey‌

    I have pushed ESO as hard as I could in All of the previously sporadic areas.

    I have drilled the game through multiple extended play sessions, lasting 4 - 8+ hours, for the past 3 days.

    Results: While FPS drops do, indeed, remain in heavily populated areas (primarily cities and towns), I have not received the "artdata" load error even one time since 1.4.3.

    So, while it did take quite some time to get to this point, I am Very pleased to say:
    Bug fix Confirmed. The "artdata" load error is Dead :)

    Side note: The FPS drops I mentioned seem to be specifically connected to large groups of interact-able, non-hostile NPCs, or to building and wall assets. One prime example is: Standing outside of the Daggerfall bank, and looking down towards the market.
    Severity: FPS drops from 59.9 or 60, down to the low 40's in areas like this.

    Contrary to what some others have said, in my opinion, it stands to reason that the root cause of these FPS drops would most likely be found in the *collision* physics processing. An optimization pass is likely to be needed.

    In closing, I would like to say,
    ZeniMax Dev team: Thank you for the fix. I know this was a tough one to knock out, but you pulled it off. You have our gratitude.
    @ZOS_JasonLeavey‌ : Thank you for keeping us informed throughout this issue. Your diligence in pursuing information on this issue has not gone unnoticed and it is much appreciated.

    Nice work guys,

    Well it's the first weekend after the patch and no crash! Imagine - a whole weekend without the "Data Load Failure". You get a gold star for this one. This was a particularly nasty looking bug. In fact it was butt ugly - a face a mother couldn't even love. Sooo glad it's been squished. :)
