    Pretty sure that's always been there. Also, as a sorc I don't find this to be that big of a deal.

    No, it wasn't always there. It was a nerf made from a previous update - now Zenmax has combined 2 nerfs.

    Any half decent player (sorcerer players included) know that this is a fair change.

    I've never seen the stun work on Bold Escape. Does it? I mean, I use it all the time in PVE and not once has an enemy been stunned.

    They tweaked a single skill so that it cannot be spammed repeatedly. Oh yeah sorcerer is unplayable now. I don't know, these people are just ridiculous.

    You do realize that sneak attacking is something everyone can do? You just have to break the mold and not go 7/7 light with a staff. You could take any class, put on full medium/stam gear/dawnbreaker and you too can take anyone to 25% in 2 shots from range with a bow. Nightblades gain a marginal increase in dmg from sneak (10% weap power), and a slightly longer stun duration...thats it.

    it's quite comedic, even with the nerfs to my main class. Now I truly wish to see how much more damage Zenimax can do to themselves and speed up the demise of this game.

    I only really use BE to keep up with my raid group in PvP because as a full-time PvP healer in Zen's great wisdom it has seen fit to keep us in combat and unable to mount a horse until we are halfway from one keep to the next. After ths nerf all it means is that I fall behind sooner.

    So what can we whine about next... hmm certainly nothing as important as the lame loot and VR because those things are just fine and need no fixing. Hmmmm Time to NERF NB or DK again because we need more activity on the forums... we absolutely don't have enough activity in game that's for sure.

    I seriously hope your kidding. Sorcs are the best class easily.

    They out DPS melee DPS from ranged. That should never happen. Not only that, but you also have the best execute and escape in the game. Along with some stupidly overpowered skills like Crystal Frags and Critical Surge. All that and your crying about a absolutely overdue nerf. IT'S THE ONLY BLINK IN THE GAME. Be happy that it sent get removed completely.

    Y'all wouldn't last a second as a normal class.

    They out DPS melee DPS from ranged. That should never happen.

    First, DK easily out DPS sorcs.

    Second, why shouldn't ranged have higher DPS? why should ranged need to spend more time to kill mob than melee?

    Afterall, the range can be closed, which has no impact on melee, but huge impact on ranged class (less defense, etc), i.e., ranged class has a shorter window to kill mobs, while melee can last forever due to high defense, high health, and massive pool of self heal skills.

    and btw, Sorcs are staple of a fantasy game, its normal-er than any class you can think of.

    you know who doesn't need to watch position? DKs, hold block and spam talon, banner, fir and green dragon blood.

    Why should Melee get more? Do some trials and find out. There is tons of situations where you either need to be attacking from a range or it is much safer to. I don't know what that third statement is supposed to mean, you clearly don't know what your talking about. Whether your in melee or ranged your still going to be in full light armor, with a staff, and no room for self heals on bar.

    I'm a sorc and I don't even have Bolt Escape nor do I care to. I see no use in it for my play style. If someone stops playing a specific class because one ability gets changed, that's just sad.

    Because there is a higher risk of being close to the enemy then being far from them? If you can be comfortable at a distance and kite people AND do more damage AND be able to get out in case the slightest thing goes wrong than that class is...well the best, and any other class might as well just not be in the game/

    Why would anyone want to play anything else if one class could be the highest dps single target, highest dps aoe, highest survivability (due to BE), highest CC, and can never be caught?

    wait, if all you said is so true, how is that all the leaderboard are occupied by DKs?

    do you actually play different classes enough to figure out all your paper data doesn't hold up in real battle?

    Well currently melee has to use the same resource as block, dodge, sprint, sneak, not only this but melee users always take the brunt of the enemies attacks because they have to be closer to the boss so while they're on attacking they also have to be aware of when the next AOE is coming in and while they're avoiding the boss AOE's they're doing absolutely 0 DPS.

    Melee users should be able to do a tonne of burst damage to keep up with the stages where they'll have to be avoiding enemy attacks.

    Sorcs on the other hand have a full resource bar purely for attacking while they can still use dodge, block, sprint etc. without compromising their skills main resource(magicka)


    Defense at the current moment is a moot point seeming that there are skills which make casters immune to CC and give greater physical defense, the point about health is also a moot point seeming a majority of higher ranked VR players have all come to the consensus that 49 health in attributes is still the way to build your character seeming you'll softcap magicka anyway if you just put magicka glyphs in your armour.

    So now tell me why casters should have higher burst damage than a melee fighter?
