Clear case of forced QQ. If you stay silent, your class gets less and less enjoyable to play. You have to whine, to keep up.
Actually surprised there aren't more treads with whining, furious Sorcerers, trying to protect their future game play.
Of course, most adjustments are based on Zeni collected data. But this is still the impression people get on these forum and from the community. If you don't desperately rage about buffs and nerfs in caps, than your class or favourite skill line get screwed over badly.
Look at NB, still getting major dps buffs, while they can 2-3 shot players on live from sneak. Than poof away and jump the next sitting duck.
Look at DK, still getting nerfed because they didn't rage hard enough and took it like champs.
It's sadly irrelevant how substantial these paranoid claim are. Because it still looks like QQ has a huge impact on the game play, from a user/customers point of view. That's also why we have one of the most toxic, cruel and miserable gaming communities out there.
I am waiting for the inevitable nerf to light armor and destruction/resto staves.
When all armor and weapon types are nerfed... what will we do then?

MEANWHILE, in melee templar land..........................

The most efficient way to see if your class is balanced or inbalanced compaired to the rest is...Go check at the TOP pvp list what classes these people are and then come back and tell us what you saw
More likely you have to use another ability/gear setup i guess..
Guess you guys won't be out running people on horseback anymore. This is only going to effect the Sorc who were spamming BE. So yea they tone down your easy mode. This was something that needed to addressed.Congratulations everyone,
You managed to get Zenimax to nerf the Sorcerer class (In addition to the Vampire) because it was "OP." Guess what you are helping to break the game and more will be coming.
Nightblades, this slippery slope will visit you and you will lose your stealth attack power and no longer will you take a Sorcerer from 100% down to 25% to 50% health with one attack.
Dragon Knights, you will be losing your "endless crowd-control" and healing.
Everyone who QQ'd about B.E. you have won, you have made the Sorcerer a very difficult class to choose for PVP (And you jacked every Sorcerer in PVE). I would like to thank you for helping to force Zenimax to break this game more.
Sorcerer
Storm Calling
Bolt Escape: After using Bolt Escape, the next use within 4 seconds costs 50% more.
(Hidden change: Mana regen is stopped for 4 seconds after B.E. is cast. Nice! Maybe you, Zenimax, can stop Stam regen after DKs and NBs use their abilities? Heck, while you are at it, remove the self-heal from all the Templars. That would help level the play-field.)
I guess I will focus on my DK & Templar until the play-field is leveled again.

What bothers me most is that Zenimax listens to whomever complains the loudest.

What do you mean all armor and weapon types? If you choose any weapon that depends on stamina, its already nerfed. This is must be some kind of sinister joke or something. The things people do to protect their cash cow at times. The last time they nerfed DK, I didn't say anything about it because I highly agreed with the changes. Shield bashing DK was incredibly way too op. If they need to nerf something else on it, I welcome the change as long as it makes for class equality. The only problem I really had with the sorc is that bolt escape. Besides that, they perform very well and don't need it as long as they work with a group, and sometimes in solo. I just hate trying to fight Goku from DBZ when in a battle that can instant transmission to the other side of the map.
Sadly, that is the way of things with MMORPGs that have a strong PvP element to them. No-one whines louder than a defeated player, and it is always the fault of the over-powered class skills that defeated him rather than his lack of personal skill. As all PvP encounters end with people dying, the forums are always full of people whining about class balance.
'Twas ever thus, and the only answer is for skills to be structured separately as between PvP and PvE.
Your are joking, yes?
While I do not appreciate the bolt escape nerf I do not believe it will be as catastrophic as you make it out to be. Although they should compensate with the stun duration and/or the damage component.
What bothers me most is that Zenimax listens to whomever complains the loudest.
That is what truly concerns me.
Melee sorc is right there with melee templar. My melee sorc could use bolt escape three times at 100% magicka BEFORE the nerf. Now only twice. Since only one use does not take me out of charge range, bolt escape is now a useless ability for me.

Proof that unskilled people were rolling Sorcs just to be able to faceroll everyone with huge damage without being killed. Now that they've made it a little harder for you to escape after killing 30 people in 3 seconds, you're upset. LOL too funny!

I love to see how people honestly think there didnt need to be a change to this obviously abused ability, especially in PvP. Sorcs were traveling across cyriodil faster than max speed horses! Thats not right. I am sure the ability was not designed to be a mode of transportation, but the ability to get out of combat, or get a better position on the field of battle, was the intended purpose of this ability. It is still a viable skill. I mean dam these BE nerf complaints are coming out literally an hour after patch time. Why not go into the game and try it for pete sake and see if it really affects your gameplay or not before you cry.

Your dps has not changed, you can still bolt away a few times before your out of manna so what is the issue? you cant do it endlessly your now not unkillable? oh what a shame. And for the record a good sorc will still use bolt effectively, its just not an endless spam ability now. you actually have to use it a little more sparingly now.
Glad other sorc's spoke up in stating it was needed
