Congratulations everyone,

You managed to get Zenimax to nerf the Sorcerer class (In addition to the Vampire) because it was "OP." Guess what you are helping to break the game and more will be coming.

Nightblades, this slippery slope will visit you and you will lose your stealth attack power and no longer will you take a Sorcerer from 100% down to 25% to 50% health with one attack.

Dragon Knights, you will be losing your "endless crowd-control" and healing.

Everyone who QQ'd about B.E. you have won, you have made the Sorcerer a very difficult class to choose for PVP (And you jacked every Sorcerer in PVE). I would like to thank you for helping to force Zenimax to break this game more.

Bolt Escape: After using Bolt Escape, the next use within 4 seconds costs 50% more.
(Hidden change: Mana regen is stopped for 4 seconds after B.E. is cast. Nice! Maybe you, Zenimax, can stop Stam regen after DKs and NBs use their abilities? Heck, while you are at it, remove the self-heal from all the Templars. That would help level the play-field.)

I guess I will focus on my DK & Templar until the play-field is leveled again.

    No, the world did not end.
    No, the sky isn't falling.

    However, you'll eventually get dizzy chicken little.
    You can't run around like that forever.

    This change was actually needed. If you don't spam it, it's not going to affect you. But this will most certainly put a damper in those people that use it to zip every where.

    Pretty sure that's always been there. Also, as a sorc I don't find this to be that big of a deal.

    Don't waste your time with Templar. Just stick with DK. It's the only way to fly. Go light armor with destro/resto.

    Im a Sorc too and who cares? I wouldn't even call this a nerf. This is a tweak.

    While I do not appreciate the bolt escape nerf I do not believe it will be as catastrophic as you make it out to be. Although they should compensate with the stun duration and/or the damage component.

    What bothers me most is that Zenimax listens to whomever complains the loudest.

    That is what truly concerns me.

    I wonder how people will react once the immunity timer to stun goes live.

    Pretty sure that's always been there. Also, as a sorc I don't find this to be that big of a deal.

    your BE will be 400 magicka if you try to get away, because one BE is never enough, 15m doesn't get you out of gap closer's range.

    So, reserve 700 magicka for escape if you need to.

    That "hidden change" has been around since betaish. BE change shouldnt be such a huge factor.... If you were casting it 8 times in a row then you deserve the nerf and should learn how to play your class. If you did it once or twice then the change wont effect you.

    If that were true we'd have more bag and bank spaces, Nameplates, and a Minimap. ZOS listens to the magic eight ball when it comes to making game changes.

    50% increase won't affect you? I haven't seen any other nerf call for 50% cost increase no matter how many people spam them. How is that fair? Is BE more OP than impulse, Banner, talon?

    oh wait thats what most players already do....

    The BE change doesn't bother me.
    I would still faceroll noobs that doesn't know how to block.

    What concerns me the most is server still not coming up!

    I don't see anyone trying to make a "no cooldowns" MMO again any time soon. It's just too much of a hastle to balance skills with.

    Thats pve crap - never has a bolt escape bothered another player in pve.

    This is a mainly a pvp nerf.

    lets see, 300+400+300=1000 magicka, that leaves you 1000 for pulsars, 3 of them? how many damage do they again? Is that enough to kill a V1 mudcrab?

    Overload? no block? enjoy being stun locked and die quickly, unless, of course, you are fighting mudcrabs.

    Damage wise. no. Survivability, yes. It was a guaranteed escape. which btw if you are such a pansy that you have to RUN from battles then yeah i guess it sucks to be you.

    This is the problem ZOS have created though by encouraging everyone to roll a sorcerer and wear skirts and carry sticks. Now they have to deal with the backlash when they nerf something in it; even if that something is the silliest skill in the game. Zap zap zap zap. Just silly.

    sure, you are manly you can stay and fight when some guys sneak on you and try to stun lock you.

    what battles? who told you BE is a battle time exclusive? I didn't see that on the tooltips? or is that just you lack of imagination or understanding of how BE is being used?

    Whats your point? I can survive a lot of stuff and keep going, but I don't ever run from a fight. Gee, guess that makes me OP. Obviously its smarter to attack someone a bunch and run away with my tail between my legs when I can't kill them like a true player. Lol. I die a lot in PvP. It happens. But you are scared of it. If you weren't this "tweak" wouldn't effect you

    LOL so because a single ability, that was extremely overpowered and cheap btw, has been "nerfed" you are going to roll a different class? QQ moar plz.

    I don't even have bolt escape unlocked on my build. You are prolly better off going to a new class and finding another way to cheaply beat people in PvP.

    And vampires too? So let me get this straight.... you use bolt escape, mists, and drain. LOL, you have to have the cheapest build ever conceived in the game.
