Done with this game unless things drastically improve which seems unlikely considering the basic design of it; looks like they spent most of the money on the VO rather than the game itself. This game, to me, is a major disappointment. For an MMO that requires a sub...I expect far better than this. Next to no end game or anything fun to do at the (current) cap is my chief complaint but that will not improve any time soon by the looks of it.

I pray every day that Bethesda gets working on the next true ES successor so I can forget about this horrible excuse of a game that is tarnishing it's image.

I just canceled last week but i have 60 more days left. I'm hoping ZOS listens to the playerbase and makes vr content enjoyable.

I'll keep playing until my three characters--one for each of the Alliances--reach VR1. I may go back and solo the instanced dungeons, but, having finished all of the solo content in the game, I'll be shutting down my sub until there's more.

How long? However long it takes. There's no hurry; I'm enjoying the ride.

Some are hoping to see updates from the devs that issues which caused them to cancel in the first place are being addressed/fixed, others find the forums far more enjoyable than the game at this point, and some of the rest of us are sitting bored at work looking for something to pass the time in our bookmarks til the subscription actually ends.

I'll be around here as long as ZOS keeps it up to their plan and direction (which I have to say is the best thing that could happen to the MMO genre). I wouldn't be here if there was any better MMO on the market anyway.

However I understand that this game is not doing well only because it's to hard, it wasn't meant for casuals. They looked at the MMO market and saw that all others are incredibly casual, so they thought why not make something hard. Well it seems like it backfired.

So no please don't tell me that Veteran Ranks are bad design, cause they are for sure not. Only thing that is bothering 90% of people is that they are just used to kill 10+ mobs in 30secs. I'm fine it they tone the difficulty down for all of you that are struggling, as long as I get to keep the option for harder difficulty.

And no Archers are by no means anything more deadly than Melee encounters. They hit way less, and have 2x less hp, even if they are spreading shouldn't be an argument. With an Ultimate sneak attack you can nearly 1-shot them. I'm playing templar S&B classic tank with just ordinary skills and I haven't struggled in my nearly 150h journey in veteran content.

Only difference on my part is that I'm still subscribed. Wife and I are conducting all the side quests, ignoring the forced-solo main story quests - in hopes the developers will come to their senses and fix it.

I unsubbed due to bots (rage quit). Then I ended buying 'another' game and can't afford both, so as much as I enjoyed playing ESO and think it's a fantastic game, I'm left with playing 'another' MMO just to get my money's worth. I'll resub ESO in the future I guess.

If Zos dont give in to my demads to give me an easy button, i will quit the game. I sent a ticket about giving me one, but i have not received a message back. So if i dont get everything i asked, i will spend my money at staples and buy my self an easy button.

I was unable to play for almost three weeks and still paid my sub. In my opinion those 10 bucks that we pay are really not much if you have a steady income.

Even as a student you can afford 10 bucks in my opinion

While I am not focused on raiding and a lot of that content seems to be in the making right now, I still have a lot to do and therefore don't see a reason why I should leave.

The forced soloing needs to be changed ASAP. For now, this game is new enough, and there is enough stuff for me to do to ensure at least another month of play time (I'm still on my initial sub month). However, the idea of paying for a MMO every month that forces me to solo many missions/instances will get pretty old really quick.

I know I sound like a broken record, but scalable missions/instances needs to be implemented. This would please both the solo players and the team players.

I think the angry joe review sums up what I feel towards this game. I paid for six months but have already gone back to everquest and GW2. I am not sure my V2 Sorc will ever enter the world again. Disappointment and regret is all I can say.

ESO is the best mmo I have played to date, and my intention was to carry on playing for a very long time to come, but I think I may quit.

Why am I thinking of quitting?
Because of a few things that drive my frustration through the roof.

1 - Unresponsive controls while in combat.
2 - Unable to run away from enemy's. When you accidentally run into a high level enemy or a mob, it's game over.
3 - Your inventory is full, your bank is full. Your inventory is full, your bank is full. Your inventory is full, your bank is full...........zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Ive just canceled my sub (60 days game time left)

Reasons for me are

Light Armour and Staff or gtfo

I ran my NB to about lv40 as DW/Bow DPS, then I changed to a healer as I could never find one as I like doing dungeons, once I changed to LA I realised I could DPS much quicker and killed Molag by spamming 1 skill and hvy restro attacks linked with syphon strikes.

After being bored shitless with killing stuff with just spamming that 1 skill (Swallow soul) I spent 100k+ on trying other builds

DW) Sparks/supriseattack/impale/syphonstrikes/cloak

This build let me stunlock anything 1v1 to death and if they didnt use magic attacks against me could use sparks so it missed me on every attack(use every 4 secs) to build up magica again

Doing this on Vet mobs of 3+ though takes skill and one mistake and dead and slows your game play right down.

So again I went back to Restro Staff and can just spam Sap Essence and just chew through vet mobs like im back in lv1-50 again, also with restro staff i can use my DW set up and stunlock things 1v1 to death as I never run out of magica with it

One more thing that realy got to me was the lack of armour designs, yes there is 14 different styles (rare ones being the same no matter what lv) but once you hit lv30ish the armour all stays the same, and if you try to mix and match it looks poo and has clipping issues.

End game aswell, what is there to do coming from SWTOR and GW2 I will use them

SWTOR I can spend all day everyday doing Warzones as long as people are playing, then I have the dailies that I could do that got me a hefty amount of credits, run alts to try the different classes and Dungeons.

GW2 WvW Had me interested, guild missions, and what I loved most is the dynamic events you could go anywhere in the game and still find something to do.

Ile add TSW aswell (Play how you want) they nailed it so much better than ESO with the skills, I mean this is an mmo that your supposed to just have 1 character due to re doing other factions area's yet if you want to change from Healer to DPS to Tank you cant as if you need a different skill morph changed you have to go through the hassle of re specing your whole skill points at a hefty price.

I realy wanted this to be THE mmo i could stick with but it just doesnt cut it, there are things that should be in game already ( I dont go with the but wow took 10 yrs to bring it in) this is the latest mmo game out it should have things like housing/dye's/haircuts/etc out from the start....

I just dont know.....if they pull there finger out I may return but what a let down this has been

This was my logic. The first month or two of a new game is always messed up. That's a standard. I figure months 3-4 should be real fixing, month 5 should be final tweaking and by month 6 it should be how it's suppose to be.

Cancelled today, my sub was to renew tomorrow but the game lost all appeal to me. There's literally no end game at the moment (I want a good raid and a couple of good dungeons) and alts are pointless to level as well as boring as hell due to the world being as it is.

Might come back, but as it stands now I've left the game behind.

Arena.net has had some pretty damn good success with the f2p model with GW and GW2.

Once you understand the business model of f2p (and its not p2w) and the relationship between developer and publisher f2p with microtransactions are the only hope for the future of mmo's and not the p2p especially from small in house developers.

After the latest round of Nightblade nerfs and meaningless fixes to skill descriptions, I've canceled. I played a VR 12 Dragon Knight on the PTS server for the first time this week and could not believe how much more powerful my character was and how easy content that seemed insanely difficult as a Nightlbade became a joke as a Dragon Knight. Then reading these forums of Dragon Knights crying about token nerfs... this game is just pathetic at class balancing.

Back to World of Tanks for me before I lose too many braincells staying in ESO.

Nothing is more demotivating than getting new gear every time they raise ranks.

Im fine with it every year with real major updates or with a new addon, but not everytime they implement one new zone with two crappy trials which can be done in 10-45minutes.

I've just cancelled my subscription. Not because I don't like the game, far from it in fact I've really enjoyed my time with it. I just haven't had the time to play recently. I'm hoping to come back in a few months but right now I can't justify a subscription for a game I play a few hours a week.

They're floundering in the dark and listening to a bunch of whiney morons who think that they know something about game development. The changes to Bolt Escape proved that the developers have no integrity or vision for their game, but cave to the loud minority who qq's on the forum.

I unfortunately was a big supporter of this game since its announcement. I spent a lot of time building up a guild and countless hours working as a Beta tester because I believe in what I thought was their vision. More and more I realize that I was duped and I would almost regret ever having given this game a look if it weren't for all the great people I've met as a result.

Since I invested so much in this game, I bought the 3 month subscription. That means ZOS has until August 8th to win me back.

Not that they or anyone really cares, but hey, its the topic of the thread, right?
