      Is this a buff or a nerf? Did this passive not apply up to now? Or is it considered to be too strong? I mean, 40m is quite far away (28m is the base range for most attacks, adding some Cyrodil buffs one can barely reach 40m).

      So, this will be a useless passive after all? Nice, saves me 2 skill points...

    Was the passive previously not applying to enemies greater than 40 meters away, and now it applies to them as well?
    If it is this case, what is the minimum range for Long Shots to take effect?

    If it is this case, what is the point of the passive? The only time a bow will be hitting enemies beyond 40 meters is in Cyrodiil with the range buffs and using Snipe.

    If it is this case, what is the point of the passive? The only time a bow will be hitting enemies beyond 40 meters is in Cyrodiil with the range buffs and using Snipe.

    I've done a little testing on this subject, the damage increase scales up based on how far away from your target you are, starting with 0% at 0-1m and scaling upwards from there. I'm sure it has a definitive endpoint where the damage increase stops increasing, maybe it was 40m, though I would hope the full 12% would be give at 28m which is the normal ranged distance.

    I'm assuming it was broken before whereas if a target was hit past 40m then the buff didn't apply. Now with the patch, the damage will still (presumably) cap out at 40m (or 28m if I'm wrong about that) but you will still receive the damage buff after that 40m point unlike before.

    Looking at these patch notes, I'm concerned that the inferior nature of medium/heavy armor, and melee weaponry will persist for another couple of months...

    Yet I think the weapon skill-trees and armor type are vastly more important to a diverse selection of playstyles than the four classes!

    The class skills flavour, and support the weapon-chosen playstyle, whether that be a duel wielder, restro-healer or as mostly-seen: the destruction staff user in bed-sheets.

    I don't want these timid changes to my Templar - I want to be able to wear heavy armor, and use a sword! Yet I'm twice as survivable when I wear cloth.

    To reiterate: the four classes are nice, but the weapon skills and armor choices are the real cause for incestous endgame, and inferior and superior playstyles ("play how you want"). 1.2 NEEDS to be about that.

    Fine-tune the four classes after you've got the basic play styles sorted.

    Seriously? Like this is important compared to all the other bugs? I suffer with inventory problems, I still use my cheap 1g horse, but the skill bar additions? Is this something new, or are you just coming up with something out of the blue? Either way, this stuff should be on the low priority list for now.

    Zenimax have already answered the question about more bag/bank space. And said no, because it will not suit ESO.

    Same thing with skill bars. They answered the question. It will not be added, because its not what ESO intended.

    Right or wrong, like it or not. This is the game, You get the answers. Like it and play, or dont like it and dont.

    ZOS - I think that stamina builds balancing direction is not clear.
    Adding some buff to rarely used abilities and adding more stamina through armor is not answer to the problem. I am running stamina driven redguard NB. I barely can remember when i run out of stamina and still my overall damage is not higher than average stamina build. That is saying that having more stamina will not do a thing for my overall damage. Although i have to say that i expect that haste morph ( + heavy attack ) will do good for our output . But that is again just partial solution - why - because stamina ranged weapon cant use that same haste morph ( like bows for example ) .So even if dw is making good damage - in average stamina build will be less wanted then magic coz of fights where range is must . There we still can go with bows ( lower damage ) or staffs - with less sinergy.
    I understand that balancing process is incremental in its nature but still we cant see clear direction in which ZOS is going.
    Today stamina builds do like half of damage magic builds do.
    That gap cant be filled with cosmetic interventions.
    People want to : 1) Be competitive 2) Be able to plan .
    Considering that u cant make all moves regarding balancing at once - at least give us road map for that balancing with some dates.

    Ok this update is frustrating and kind of disappointing I thought I would see new content like Dark Brotherhood or Thieves Guild or the dyes and now we can pick up armor and weapons woo hoo that's useless if it don't help with anything or even can sell for gold I don't see the point in that at all also the justice system was not put in either look I love this game but its gotten to the point where its loosing the qualities of bethsedas Elder Scrolls Games I don't understand and im rather upset you guys have been more focused on vet ranks then making the game overall better limited class choices limited skill lines limited guild joining limited choice skill lines idk im hoping it gets better I really don't wanna unsub I love all the Elder Scroll games
