Companions Q&A
Hi Everyone! It's time for a Community Q&A! For this community Q&A, the focus will be on Companions. Do you have burning questions about our two new companions, Azandar Al-Cybiades and Sharp-As-Night that weren’t covered in their Meet the Character articles? Or maybe you’re curious about what goes into making a companion? This is your chance to ask questions about companions in general, specific companions, or the process of developing companions.
We will leave this thread open for the next few days and close on Tuesday, May 30 at 10am ET. We will then work on getting answers out later in June via a blog post. As always, please keep the conversation respectful and follow the community guidelines. With that out of the way, let’s open the floor for questions!
Note: We will not be discussing future systems for companions (i.e. romancing companions). We know many want to see more systems built on the foundation of companions. However, we have no additional information to share at this time.

Re: Crown Crates no longer giftable?
Hi, everyone.
We’re here to provide our weekly update on the Crown Crate gifting issue. While the fix we implemented is working as intended, we have identified an additional issue that our teams are working to resolve. This issue will take some time to investigate and resolve, so unfortunately Crown Crate gifting will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future as we work on a long-term solution.
In the meantime, we are working on a limited, temporary solution for Crown Crate gifting. We hope to have that solution in place and full details to share with you in the coming weeks. Thanks again for your continued patience as we work to resolve this issue.

Hi everyone! Yes, confirming today is the hardware upgrade for the PlayStation NA megaserver, hence the longer-than-usual maintenance.
Re: Crown Crates no longer giftable?
Thank you once again for your patience while we work on the issue with Crown Crate gifting. As a reminder, on May 9 we pushed a back-end update to all six realms during maintenance. While initial results look good, we are still monitoring. We will share our next update and more details with you on Monday, May 22.
PTS Patch Notes v9.0.4
The Elder Scrolls Online v9.0.4 is the final patch for this PTS cycle and continues to address issues associated with Necrom quests and content, along with some outstanding bugs with the Arcanist. Please note during this week, access to the Necrom Chapter will be restricted to those who pre-purchased the Chapter to test proper access levels ahead of it launching on June 5. The size of this final patch is approximately 167MB. Thank you to everyone for providing so much feedback these past few weeks!
