Horned Owl feathers?

Is the drop rate too low or not dropping? Do I need to have the skeleton polymorph active to collect them? Already got a good 20 plunder skuls and not a single feather so I'm just wondering if it's low or not working or need polymorph active.

Just RNG. I didn't touch the Cauldron or Polymorph thingy and I got one so far. Not sure if there's cooldown or anything though.

Got one, but I have only done a few golden plunder skulls so far. So my guess is they could possibly only drop from golden plunder skulls, or they could be on a daily accountwide limit of one. Note: I did not have a polymorph active for the feather to drop.

PS: Anyone else have the bug where you can't turn in the witchmonther's bargain quest after completing it? Quest states I have to talk to the witchmother, but she does not respond to anything and there is no arrow above her head(tried all three witchmother locations in the alliance's first zones).

Did a delve, rnd, jack, crow and IA so far and haven’t had a single feather yet. I think the drop rate is low.

its been a while since I did that quest but doesn't she appear elsewhere to complete it? If its the one where you need to find the ingredients for her

Ah okay ty. Wasn't sure. Just a really really low and bad drop rate then. I may just have to get it from the event merch though cause I'm lazy and have low patience

I also did not got a single Horned Owl feather so far. I got pretty much every "better" golden plunder skull, except for Arean & Trial.

There are some things that I would like to make sure:
1. If I understood this correctly, Horned Owl feather only do drop form the "golden" special plunder skulls that we can only get once per day. They do not drop form regular plunder skulls. Is this true ?
2. Are new motif pages also only dropping from "golden" plunder skulls ?
3. Are new motif pages & Horned Owl feather "RNG Daily Locked" (meaning that if you get luck & get one, the other boxes won't drop them till next day ?

it seems like a good droprate, i got 2 from 2 separate golden Plunder Skulls.
you can get it by just getting multiple different plunder skulls every day

Quest bosses, IC bosses and the bosses from mini-incursions also count, but I don't recall which of the above groupings each is in.

Did 7 golds, got nothing. Just hoping that RNG improves over the next few days. 10 fragments is "difficult" otherwise

I spent first 10 event tickets on a House Key but I think I'm going to spend next 20 for the Owl - too pricey on traders, seems low drop rate + many want to keep it.
Only done 6 golden but no drop for today. Not lucky with that but at least I got the Hollowjack Bust first try XD

Mini incursions give you a public dungeon plunder skull.

It's random from the gold skulls. I got two drops today, so it isn't reatricted like the style pages.

Opened 26 golden skulls on EU (across multiple accounts), got 1 of the new style page, and 2 feathers.

The other events are structured so that the first page that you get each day is always the new page, and then any subsequent pages are from past years.

But, inexplicably, that's not how Witches works. The pool keeps getting diluted with old pages. This was a problem last year and now it's an even worse problem this year.

If you can hold out till the last few days, they will probably be almost worthless

I've had 12 tickets thru so many events as was nothing to buy and nothing this time either so I spent 'em on the owl. That flaps endlessly and will make me endlessly sorry for it. I love owls.

Believe it or not some things have low drop rates paired with rng and you could get 0 feathers from doing the event all 12 days. Just how it goes.

I got one feather from 7 golden skulls today. At the end of the event they will be dirt cheap in the guild stores, don’t be tempted to buy them now.

0 feathers and 0 new pages from 8 gold boxes and 20 purple boxes yesterday.

ZOS, the drop rate is too low with your RNG. Yes, I understand that your RNG gives runs of "good" numbers to some players (2 feathers out of 10 boxes), and runs of "bad" numbers to other players (0 feathers out of 28 boxes). And after a large number of tries the percentage of "good" equals your programmed drop rate. The problem here is that the event is too short versus the 10 feathers required. By the time my current run of bad numbers ends, I could end up not having enough days left in the event to catch up.
