We are working on getting an update from the team. Hoping to have something this week. No change from my last update as of right now, so nothing new to report at the moment.
Also, please do not derail other threads looking for updates. We understand this is frustrating, but all that does is make it disruptive for other people.

Isnt that fun and exciting!? Definitely not an inconvenience to have weekly/monthly raid sign ups and bench lists and comp groups, wait for the tanks cat to stop being on fire and the healers lasagna to be done, only to have ZOS decide some of you arent allowed to play! I love it!
I think ZOS really hit it home with this update, the past 4 months with this new feature has brought about so much community interaction that they have even had to ask us to contain our enthusiasm on talking about it elsewhere! truly stellar game update, raging success!

seriously though the poo people are dealing with trying to play this game that they paid for/subbed to/overpaid for crowns for/supported by being a part of the community whether its trials, dungeons, pvp, flower picking, afk'ing (i really like the afk community), is absolutely ridiculous. Gem of a game, its why people are so vocal about their frustrations, but the game is tainted by detestable performance and support.

Does hardmode+ come with a new title ?

Has anyone else been running Task Manager and seen ESO using 100% of the CPU/Very High usage most of the time -- even when you are idle in game?
Does anyone know why this would be happening?

I run a resource monitor ALL the time while playing. When the issues hit my overall cpu usage normally DROPS. ESO can't push my proccessor over 60% utilization...gpu maxes around 45% in this game. I'll see a few cores tap 100% for a few seconds from time to time, but not long enough to account for the game issues. When I have issues nothing is hitting 100%.

its definitely a server side issue. If i were to guess, it's probably creation and destruction of instances(people doing fg1 for event boxes) that is probably just killing performance for other instanced servers like trials.
They need to allocate more resources, or use some of that $2b revenue they earned from sales and crowns and put it towards more capacity(i would say all the time, but during events at the bare minimum).
Remember the time they updated the server hardware from 2012 hardware to 2022 hardware and said there would not be any noticable in game performance gains, but surprise, it resolved a ton of the issues in cyrodil, after the hardware refresh was complete.
They need to continue to invest in this game, and not just milk the crown store, and not spend resources because things will deteriorate over time, especially if the population is increasing(new players hopefully, but its most noticable during events).

Given chat is and has always been logged and saved somewhere, they don't have to AI monitor live. They can monitor the logs instead and probably do, which shouldn't have an impact on live servers.
