Consoles shouldnt need an indepth troubleshoot guide like PCs do.
I shouldnt have to tinker with my settings to the point i'm changing modem/router settings just to play this game.
Consoles are plug n play, all consoles are the same (PS4), so why isnt there a solution yet?
I can play ALL my games online without touching any settings, just start the game and I play online.
Even WoW is more reliable than ESO on consoles.
How can you not respond or update us on this issue? Almost 600 posts! SIX HUNDRED!!!
Stop focusing on your DLCs and PTRs when people cant even play the basic version of the game.
Did I just pay full price for a beta?!

Like many people here I even tried to set my PS4 to a DMZ/Exposed Host in my Router meaning that no port control or anything whatsoever happens and still: NOTHING!
If there will be no permanent solution in the next weeks I will return the game to the store and get my money back. In the flyer that comes with the game it says that they garuantee that the game is free of errors for at least 30 days after purchase... what a big lie!
My latest response from then was to change dns servers, but also to call Sony again and check the PlayStation connection stairs... Everything else is fine, but yea it's Sony's fault now.

I got the same response apparently sony are in control of the nodes really sick of the customer support responses they just seem to go around in circles blaming everybody else

I think hes referring to the text inside the game cover.
Open it, on the right side read the first few lines ...
