Client has installed a post 1.5 Update patch and.. (Client invalid or out-dated)

Fixed (for me) at 15:08

Close launcher and re-open.

Client regressed to 1.5.2.106xx

I booted up the client this morning to be informed it was installing a mini patch (maybe the exp fix for quests?), patch seems to install fine. Clicking "Play" is fine but at the point of Logon (Username and enter password) I encounter the following error message:

You've attempted to use an invalid or out-dated client. Please exit and update the client using the patcher.

eso.live.1.5.3.1080586

ps You should really consider allowing users to copy and paste error messages.

Can't use /bug obviously as we can't log in.

Repair does not help.
Error reads: Invalid Client - You have attempted to log in using an invalid or out-dated client.Please exit and update you client using the patcher.

This is standard ESO behaviour for me - it has done something similar at every single update - usually re installing everything fixes it - I'm off for another happy 40Gb download.

I won't reinstall the client, I got a lousy 240kb/s connection. Talking about reinstalling the client is not even funny, no you!
And no, upgrading the connection is not an available option here.

Workaround for those currently not yet afflicted:
If you want to relaunch (or launch to begin with) the game, use the eso.exe directly and not the regular launcher. This is precisely why it did not affect me but my spouse, since I am launching the game with SweetFX enabled through another launcher that directly accesses the eso.exe itself.

Hope this will at least reach some of the possibly-inflicted.

Well, 2 days of my subscription left. This time, for real I'll say goodbye.
After not being able to get into keep for whole bloody minute, being Emperor, trying to save it, wandering around with 20 more fellow EP players and being pushed to purge myself 5-6 times to get my heal debug removed, bcs or hordes of archers - no, thanks, it gets too much.
Where is fix for alchemy writ? Got it again and again.
Not to speak my empress has war paint all over the body and armor and it does not go away, no matter what I do(reported it twice - before it fixes by relogging, now it doesnt).

Doesn't matter. Did not work.
Please state the path to the ESO.exe. Perhaps I did a mistake...

First thing I tried, after the client didn't work and, at least for me, this is not working.

Everyone can´t enter Elder Scrolls Online , it´s gone for everyone ... invalid client after hotfix. What have you done ZOS ?????
