Or this means that the usual "somebody else will report it" often because "I can't be bothered/don't have time/am lazy" or "it only takes one report for action to be taken so that probably already happened".

No matter what, if you have a problem then you need to speak up about it because the people that can fix the problem rarely ever know about it unless you report it because the majority are always assuming somebody else will do it for them to the point of nobody doing it.

Exactly. Other games have done it a thousand times better than ESO though. ESO pretty much brought back "the bad old days" of pvp because they didn't learn from the past.

1- Segregate Cyrodiil per faction. AD shouldn't share an instance with those EP and DC barbarians, we deserve better and we prefer PVE anyways.
2- Make the scroll fish-able. How come I'm not allowed to grab my fishing pole and just fish the scroll out of the water?
3- Require a group of 100+ to carry the scroll. This would prevent any non-AD faction to even move the scroll. Note to devs: players need to be on the same faction - no team purple.

I have dabbled with the PvP system once to check it out. Once was enough.

PvP could be fun, in theory. And should be. But with the community of players currently in the world (not all of them, and to those who play the game in an honorable fashion you have my sympathies) - I am simply not at all interested.

I play the game to have fun and relax. Not listen so some 14yr old "fletcher" - as the game likes to call them - whose had too much sugar and not enough friends scream profanities into the headphone.

Not to mention the adults who do the same.

Why would anyone scream profanities in the mike? Hop in Disc with the people you are running with.

My first character is AD. TECHNICALLY I’m still in an AD guild ( I guess until they boot me out). Most of the folks in that guild were cool. I took issue to the fact that they zerged and tbagged ONE player who got zerged down by 24. Like c’mon.

Now they are all wearing Sloads. I run with EP 1vxers and duelists now. Though, I’m new I’m lucky to do so and truly rather spoiled.

I don’t bag on AD as a faction. Like I said some of them are rather cool. But if you’re some kind of whiney Zergling SERIOUSLY wanting people banned for that scroll nonsense; and actually get butt hurt about it I’m glad. Hopefully we’ll run into each other in Cyro. Lol.

If you are complaining about zerging, all factions zerg and can atleast be counterplayed by good coordinated players. you cant kill your own faction for Scroll trolling and can only be countered if you have another alliance alt but many people are loyal to our faction and refuse to have to go through those methods to retrieve our scroll. I wont fight for another faction aside from ad.

I did not know that one could use an elder scroll as bait. Now you created a lot of popularity for someone who had some "lulz" placing the scrolls in infested waters for 30 mins. Probably more people will do this for fame or just more trolling.

If the scroll despawns in 30 mins, I really don't see where the griefing is. You could make a group to recover it, even though it might be hard to get to the scroll and return back with it. Griefing is more like placing the scroll permanently in a place where none could get it using a glitch, like an invisible wall, making (almost) impossible for everyone from the opposing factions to win.

Such actions are to be expected in a pvp area where nothing has changed and people are doing it for years. Some people get bored and want to do something new...
