Game Crashing Issues

I have notice when I am not group I do not crash, it is only when I group for anything that I start crashing, jfyi

Have done repair, lowered the graphics requirements to Low, and still crash the same regardless.

Awesome some people don't have the same issue, but for us that do, the game is unplayable.

I don't have the best system, but I have 16 GB DDR3, a 3.4 GHz Processor, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 675MX 1024 MB card, so should not be an issue, as it is compatible with DX11 and DX12.

Is this on the 64bit, 32bit, or both?

Ah. I figured I'd ask since that's what my issue is. Rather than raging about it, I figure just patiently help people while I get myself sorted out since the mail takes forever. Have you tried launching the exe's from the directory at all and a crash report still pops up?

We're in the middle of publishing a hotfix to help one of the more commonly occurring crashes. This is available now on PC NA; can you guys download the patch, and let us know how things are looking?

New patch and so far I have not crashed and longer now playing than any point since original patch.. feeling good about this..

EDIT 1: No more FPS issues, no more lagging, no more graphic issues, and no crashes running dungeon now for 10 minutes, which is 3x longer than I have been in without crash in 3 days.

EDIT 2: 15 minutes in my screen is locked with spinning wheel and crash is imminent.

I'm not sure about the Mac side of things, but this is disheartening to hear. Have you been sending crash reports too?

I don't have crash report options, that I know of. It auto sends the crash to Apple, but I get no option to send a report to ESO. Should I just copy and paste into Support Tickets?

I probably would and keep trying to get an actual response rather than the automated one. I honestly have no idea with Apple products, but that may be the only option that one could take at this point.

Just wondering if its been commented before is this related to opening items like chests, troves, backpacks, pots, urns etc. as that is what seems to crash me out of the game (prior to the hotfix) - and as I'm EU still waiting for it to be available

After the last patch cannot use the thieves guild entrance outside the city (the drainage pipe), 64 bit client, pc, Abah's Landing. Tried three (3) times, sent reports, can enter the one in the city. The most crashes I've had is since this DLC. I don't even count them anymore.

Well, have to download another fix....
since the update of the game on monday I must admit, there is much more to download
cause every day there is a fix
and always at primetime, which is nice, cause then most are in the middle of something and are thrown out of the game in order to update NOW
yesterday this happened as we were sieging
today as I tried to do my first thievesguild quest, becuase there it kicked earlier and I had to start at the beginning in Stormhaven and so on....
great Patch, solved non problems only created more new problems

I just installed the newest update via the launcher, and tried to start up the game. The game crashed before I got to log-in screen.

My friends in the game were crashing left and right, when I used another pc to log on earlier to check my mails and chat a little with my guild, this is where I heard terrible news. A dear friend and guildie have already quit ESO because of these issues. I don't want to loose more friends and guildmembers

Am I'm the only one who didn't crash every 5 minutes? I had only 1 crash in 2 days. Didn't see any weird graphical bugs(no boobs for me

...) I even play with outdated addons. All that on 64bit version.

Logged onto a character in Rawlkha and everything that was not a character or a NPC was invisible and not able to be interacted with. Basically it was just the ground, me and other characters. Logged off and at the character selection screen the background items in the menu where pink....

Also logged back in and almost everything is pink. Video to follow soon. After updates I'm just going to have to not play for a while and give ZOS time to fix stuff

Have you tried persuading them to come back at least casually?

That's the only good thing about it. What client version was this? 32bit or 64?

Both before and after the update, after disabling all add-ons, ESO still crashes when I auto-loot anything. If I have auto-loot off, it's fine.

I had loot history on, tried it again with it off, and it still crashes.

I'm still crashing at play, can we please roll back to no patch until the bugs are fixed? I'm not DX11 but I'm really hoping that i didn't just buy the game with the box advertising one thing and the game actually requiring something different. I really enjoy this game but i just got a subscription and cant even use it. Crazy disappointing, especially if I'm gonna have to get a new graphics card before i can play again.

Sadly I don't think this will happen. It sucks, I know (I had to buy a new computer entirely and even then I still might need a new card to go with it too), however it's better to adapt. If your card is at least 1gb, I can recommend the dxcpl to force your graphics card to mimic DX11.1, however it comes with massive FPS hits and drawbacks.

Well, at least they found a way to cut back the over population on the Cryodiil campaigns, as unintended as the solution was.

You mean other than making Azura's a No-CP campaign? xD I hear it's dead now. Is it? Or am I being misled?
