Game Crashing Issues

Oh my goodness! I cannot even log into the game at all! I put in my info, it goes to the character screen then kicks me right back out and the times I can get into the game, I'm in for like 2 mins and get kicked right back out. PLEASE ZOS, fix the crashes in tomorrows incremental patch.

I finally found the culprit in my crash issues. It's my outdated addons. I disabled them and updated a few and so far, I just had one crash but generally speaking, it has almost fixed my crash issues. I'll still monitor this though.

I noticed that my crashes are not random, but happen only in certain situations. It happend on multiple of my characters on different days with both the 32 and the 64 bit client. So far I figured out:
- In vet City of Ash at the fire maw boss
- In vet Imperial City Prison at Ibomez
- In the lobby of Aetherian Archive or Maw of Lorhaj if a person from England ports to the trial when I'm already inside.

For some reason the last few days after log-in and character selection while in character I will crash to desktop within 30 seconds and have to relog. Then everything is ok. No add-ons, 64 bit.

Note that in most businesses, you focus efforts on the biggest fires. Not to mention that statistically speaking, only about 5% on unhappy people complain publicly while the rest suffer in silence. People whining and complaining, is ultimately what will lead to this issue being fixed.

My brother plays on an old dated PC that barely meets specs and played for hours yesterday without a single crash.

I on the other hand continued my crash every 2 to 5 minutes (on a high end Mac), which got me a lot of 'wow dude, thats insane how much your crashing bro. It's like WoW Vanilla 5 minutes loots back in the say' comments from by brother.

I just hope the patch today fixes this.

I finally finally got my Vampirism, but the game crashes half way through my quest each time and it restarts the entire quest when you lose connection

The 64 bit client is still crashing far to often though less than before the hotfix. Usually it crashes when in a group instance.

Mine is 100% stable now. I did a few things:

-deleted shader cache
-repaired game client
-increased LUA memory to 512 MB as it had been reset to a very low figure (this could well be causing some of the crashes for people).
-set sound sample rate/bit depth at 16bit 44100 Hz (probably nothing to do with it but I had changed it upwards to test before the crashing started).

I run a zillion addons as well, and in settings I have everything maxed with enhanced AA and the mipmap tweak...and after doing the above - no crashes. One of the above was a fix, in my case.

Still get all the sound bugs though.

As soon as I logged in, my comp started freaking out. Basically the screen glitched into pieces and froze while the game was loading to character selection. Had to do a hard boot to stop it. I can only assume something didn't go correctly in today's patch.

Running a virus scan atm but anyone else seeing issues with the launcher after today's patch? Like your screen breaking up completely while the load circle is spinning?

20 minutes in game, no Pink colors, no jumping screen, no FPS issues, no crashes.

Just finished the Vampire quest, which without fail crashed on me each time half way through before todays patch.

Time will tell, but it feels like it was before the first patch that caused all this.

I think they got the fix.

EDIT: Just ran through Davin's Watch, which was a 100% crash promise all last week. No crash and no issues!

Crashed a couple times right after TG was released then after the "crash patch" haven't had a crash until today. Now I've crashed 3 times in span of 10 minutes.

Edited to say make that 6 times in the past hour.

It's been a week. Still unplayable in pvp. First encounter - crash.

Well PC laptops that are experiencing the crash on launch are SOL. I'm waiting a response on compensation or maybe a work around considering the number of members unable to play. I'm not holding my breath though.

Haven't crashed in three weeks and after the patch I crashed almost immediately when I tried to leave the Thieves Guild in Abahs Landing. On a Mac.

Well I was finally able to get back into the game last night. Turns out that my launcher was still Beta even though my game was up to date. I uninstalled it and installed the current one and voila! Back in the game. Now let's see if I can get in post patch today.

Well guess that's it for PC laptops that were able to play the game. Seems really crappy to cut people out that have been playing the game up till now. Feel like I got the ole' thanks for your cash hope you enjoyed your time but we can't use you anymore buddy!!

Finally solved my login issue.

Crashed friday night, pc froze, couldnt log into the game. Error 211 massive prolonged and failed downloads. error 210.

Now after a 21 hour download I'm back into the game. Was a shock at first as my launcher reverted to NA and not EU. WHen i finally logged in at 5.30 am all my toons were gone! Eventually realised and changed to EU.

I want to thank the ZOS support guys, Thomas and Brian who helped me with a bunch of tech solutions, one of which must of worked. Thanks for the regular and frequent emails guys

Will see if the crashing persist now Im back in.

I can play less than five minutes, my game freezes and I hear my charcter and the world working good, then I use Task manager and crash definitely, I bought the Imperial Edition of ESO, the past two DLCs Imperial City and Orsinium, My GPU is AMD 7850 HD, Intel core i5 quadcore, I had windows 7 and updated it to 10, I reallly dont know the reason and it seems answers I get are update your driver or make the launcher repair the game just things any person with common sense would do , no one of these "solutions" works, any ideas, maybe is some problem in the registry, please would be nice to not loose more time, I meant getting a new PC reinstall the whole thing, I just want the solution to play a little

Start the game and "ESO has unexpectedly quit".

I have no addon's - tried the repair tool even re-downloaded the entire game....

This sucks...

Did you check your card , is it dx11?

Just installed a new 5450 and I can finally log in, but I'm stuck at the loading screen forever

What's up with this? After your maintenance update, the game crashes after I click on Play from the Launcher. Clicking on the direct game application does not make a difference.

Same here. Didn't have any problems until this hot fix was downloaded. I have even done a bunch of Thieves guild quests in Hew Bane already. I usually use the launcher, to make sure I get the updates asap. Only 4 of my addons are out of date. Turned them off. Logged in, chose a character to load and it crashes during the load screen. No matter what character I choose, it crashes during load screen. Tried starting the 32x and 64x client, both regularly, and as admin. Same issue. Turned off all of my addons, still crashed. Repair install and reboot. Still crashes. I am most certainly running DX11 as per my DXDiag results.

After 45 min of crashes still not able to log in, just woke up 1hr earlier to finish writs before work. What a cute update...

Not sure why I get a LUA memory limit warning box when I don't use addons and never have?
Then a bit later it crashes. (64 bit)

ZOS are you running the servers via a potato and 2 cables from the 17th century?
