No clue, but will come back with hopefully a reply.IndyWendieGo wrote: »Lava_Croft wrote: »This specific weird issue is also torturing one of my friends. Constant crashing with her Templar, rarely crashing with her Sorcerer...cf398ub17_ESO wrote: »crashing tons on my templar but not once on my sorc
Does it happen when they use a specific ability on their Templar?

@Gina, thank you for the info on the crashed not related to Direct X/VC++ runtime requirements. Can you please maintain the flow of information being passed on, we are your customers and being left in the dark without an response to major issues is something that no business should do to their customer base.
In regards to the ending of Direct X 9-10.1 support, a large percentage of players do not bother reading patch notes at all, most likely a lot of players enjoy casual game-play and will never read patch notes. You should have listed it on the launcher so you do not have this type of backlash due to the lack of information given to your customer base.
Here is a link to the minimum requirements to play ESO.
And
Here is a quick filtered list for dirext x 11+ compliant video cards (Not withstanding nVidia's failure to never fully support Direct X 11) from Newegg, the format of pricing is US dollar value, lowest price sorting method. All of the cards listed should meet minimum requirements to run the game...
On a side note, I can understand why you want to drop all versions pre-Direct X 11, maintaining the data layering would require a tremendous amount of effort to maintain effectively X amounts of Direct X versions of the game, especially without blowing out the installation size and maintenance times. Now that the game has dropped support, can we see a data clean-up in the future to reduce the installation size?

Just a heads up that the GT cards are really not that powerful as gaming cards, despite the DX level supported. I bought a GT720 first, but seeing ~30 fps in 720P, I returned it for a GTX750 gaming card.
I now run 1080p in solid 60fps on high settings, I'm very satisfied, hope you guys find it worth to upgrade your GPUs. My old one was an AMD HD4850, 8 or 7 years old, so it was due time to get a new GPU, and since I currently play ESO on the PC, I figured going with a GTX750 was enough.

Is all your spec's alright? DX11 compliant, etc?
