It is farking sad that we have to play alts to play the game cause we can no longer progress in the game as a result of another failed patch by ZOS. They break more then they fix.

what is even more interesting is that they are putting the same patch, presumably, into the EU server so the EU guys might have to deal with the same issues soon.. Wouldn't that be hilarious if they did the exact same thing there knowing it failed on the NA server.

I am experiencing the same issue.

I am also having this issue. I have tried the quest three times, each time picking different quest choices just to see if it was a specific quest issue, the only thing I have done consistently is die in the gauntlet. I do not know if dying in the gauntlet is what is causing this bug, bug at this time I am pretty much done.

I loved Morrowind, that game got me through some rough moments while I was deployed in Iraq, I enjoyed Oblivion too, never played Skyrim. But I was excited as hell for this game, it was the first MMO, that gave more xp for doing stuff then just mindlessly killing stuff. I really enjoyed the customizable options in character creation, all in all the game had great promise.

However, this is a main quest issue, it should be fixed IMMEDIATELY, and with it i should not have to reload my ui every 30 minutes, these are annoyances that just frustrate people. Now I know a lot of people are going to say that all games have bugs and crap, but that is HORRIBLE way to do business. When you decided to use a subscription model for this game, you should have worked better at fixing this kind of stuff, because at this point their is no reason for me to continue to play as this is the SECOND character i have run through the main quest line, because my first character was a NB, who can not solo VR content.

You would not go to a Ford dealer and buy a car, knowing that the transmission didn't have a 3rd gear, you wouldn't buy a TV that doesn't show green. SO why should i have to pay 70 dollars for a game and 15 dollars a month, for a game whose main quest line is completely broken?

Same issue. Well, time to start leveling up my Alts.

I had two other quests in my log which were completed, but not turned in, so I turned them in and logged off for a few minutes. Logged back in and went through the "race" towards Molag Bal. When I arrived there, he picked me up and threw me down again, making my character bounce / hover above the ground. Thanks for the suggestion though.

I think it is ridiculous every time they do a patch, my main becomes basically useless. I am tired of making alts, because then I play that as my main... and what do you know, here comes patch day. You guys suck, and I love the response about how time consuming it is to fix this. I don't really care. My job is time consuming as well, so if I make a mistake the people paying me are not looking for an excuse...

My issue is this is a game stopper for everyone who is here as you cannot go to the vet content. Its bad enough we have all tried 20 times to do this quest which takes forever as far as our time goes, its cost us all a lot of gold to repair and soul gems as well. They should just complete the quest for anyone who is stuck right now so we can continue on, and not make us all sit and wait for them to fix it for us all to have to run it yet again.

First I realize you are trying to help and passing along info so this is not directed to you.
However for support to continue to ask players to do stupid crap work arounds as a result of their *** dev team is just laughable.
Stop making up stupid work arounds and get your dev team off their arse and fix the damn game.
What do your devs do all day? The patches have been useless as most of their fixes don't work and create more issues.
How long do you expect to keep people in game like this? Or do you all like looking for new jobs after such failure?

Hmm, that doesn't sound fun at all then. I had the issue before patch 1.1.2 that I got stuck inside The Colored Rooms (it's in the same quest) tho and got help from the support how I could get around and complete the quest. It worked but I didn't feel like playing on my main character after I had been stuck there for 3-4 weeks without any help or so at all. But I better hope that this quest is going to get fixed soon. But with the quest broken since launch I have no idea when it will be fixed. I rather say that they should get the main quests done without any bugs BEFORE they do the other side quests since it is the main quests that is blocking the progress for veteran content.

It's still on topic, they were saying that the issue should have been fixed, because it's a main quest. These are the most important aspects of the game since it dictates progression for further territories. And it really says something about the development team, that the main quests of their game wont function properly, especially the Last quest in the main story

So they have to know this quest is just not working..so logic would dictate that a GM be on standby to assist players through he quest as they have the capacity to do so which was evidenced in another thread..but does ZOS use what little intelligence they have? Nope...Instead of having a GM on standby in game ready to assist folks they just continue to let their moderators deal with the aftermath of their lack of competence and intelligence.

For the love of pete get a GM in game ready to help those having issues with the quest right now until a fix is implemented it is the very least you could do for a diminishing paying customer base...

Its called customer support and service the fact your management team has not done this already is pathetic.

Someone on these forums a ZOS employee roll this idea up hill to whoever it needs to go to so that people can progress.

The quest does not move forward and give us the ability to use the special ability needed for this quest which moves the fight forward to the ground, in a previous incident a GM manually moved the fight forward for a consumer after he waited a while.

You would think an intelligent person would be like hey..we can assist our customers by doing this for all who are stuck..all it requires is an available GM that is monitoring the situation..but nope not ZOS we will most likely wait till tomorrows maintenance and watch them fix this and break 5 other things in the process.

I would not know about that as I cant get to that part..cause why?..oh yeah the quest is broke and not being fixed...

maybe i am just spoiled after playing games like eve for years where GM's actually help and dev teams actually put out new content thats tested and works.

I know expecting competence out of an organization is a big expectation.

Actually, I defeated Molag Bal earlier this week but at 0% hp he just sank to his knees and stayed there -- no animation. When I put in a ticket they just told me to redo the quest. So no help there, after a 10 minute fight.

What GM powers do you think exist that could help players stuck like this even if ZOS had the will to make it happen?

You're surely not asking for a GM to mark the quest as 'complete' in cases like this, are you?
