Quest - God of Schemes

I went though it last night and beat him at level 47. Not sure how I got the quest before level 50 but it was a relatively easy fight and I didn't experience any issues.

The quest unlocks once you've completed the Coldharbour story arc, I don't recall coming across any level gates in the whole zone.

So you had spoken to Meridia?

I assume you can't simply Wayshrine or Travel To Player to get out, as the quest state seems set for you to complete it if you can get out.

Nope, heard her say "come to me", but that's it.

And no, you can't wayshrine out. Logging out for 15-20 and re-setting the quest is the only way out.

Hmm, I'm bemused though I don't recall the interaction with her clearly but I was sure after killing Bal the quest state displayed in the tracker tells you to reclaim your soul.

Your screenshot shows it's stepped beyond that, to the state you're in after getting your sould back and having a talk with Meridia .. not sure if it's before or after you encounter Bal there, yet if it's how you describe none of that can have happened yet if the last thing she said really was "come to me" as that's the first thing she utters as far as I can remember.

Totally broken for me. Molag attempts to lift me into the air and then nothing. My character just sits there doing nothing hovering a foot above the ground. I've relogged, restarted. So far nothing.
