Companion mounts repeatedly reset to default

This seems very new to me, but looking at the forums it was happening around the end of the year, too. All of my companions seem to be resetting their selected mount to default. I don't know what triggers it or when its taking place exactly, but it seems to be happening to all of them. Repeatedly.

The error came back with the Nightmare Market ...

✭✭Last time it happened it was tied to visiting Hiddenpring Cottage home while your companion is out.
I think this time it is tied to visiting the Night's Den home while your companion is out.
If my assumption is right, this same bug could present itself again when they release next homes - would be nice for them to fix it for good.
Try and test it yourself.

In my case I noticed every single time I enter Night Market with Isobel out, or if I take her out after already being inside it, her mount resets.

✭✭✭My companions keep resetting to their original costumes too. (I usually don't mess with their mount, only their costume) It seems like it happens when I have the companion active then join a full group of 12. The forced un-summoning of the companion seems to trigger the bug.3 -

LadyLokari✭✭✭Definitely having this issue with both the outfit and the mount resetting, but it happens a lot more often to the mount, for whatever reason.
There's no real pattern that I can discern. I thought it was because of the Night Market, but I just had it happen, and I logged in a few minutes ago without having gone to the NM at all. I did change zones on this occasion, but I think it might have happened without a zone change before this, though I can't confirm as of this moment. Will be keeping a closer eye on it and edit/add a fresh post if I notice any relevant details.1 -

Luckly it was one associated with a dlc preorder so after sending the recipit ZOS support had to return it.1 -

If I remember correctly, there is at least one if not two recent homes that have the same bug - presumably for the same reason.1 -
Never had a problem with their costumes but it happens with the mounts CONSTANTLY. It’s particularly frustrating when I actually got a hazardous alchemy Vvardvark from the crown store specifically for Sharp as Night and he keeps swapping back to his default2
