I'm also not thrilled with how caring about concepts like professionalism, respect, and empathy is being derogatorily referred to as "virtue signaling." Just because someone can't comprehend caring even a little bit about anyone other than themselves or their friends doesn't mean everyone else is lying when they say they do.

The behavior displayed by this streamer is completely unacceptable, especially for someone representing ESO in an official capacity. Allowing a member of the ESO Stream Team to openly use slurs, harass players, and double down on that behavior without consequence directly contradicts the standards that ZOS enforces on the rest of the player base.

If this were just an independent content creator, it would be one thing, but as an official representative of the game, their actions reflect on the entire ESO community. What kind of message does this send to new players when an ESO Stream Team member is allowed to violate the same Terms of Service that apply to everyone else? This directly undermines the integrity of the Stream Team and the game itself.

At this point, the question is not whether action should be taken—it’s why it hasn’t been taken already. The ESO Stream Team is meant to highlight the best of the community, yet this individual has repeatedly shown behavior that goes against the values the game stands for. I feel like that mindset probably deserves some comment. Because that's really going to be the crux of this entire thread: Whether the behavior of this streamer is cool and good because ESO PvP is the most important thing in the universe to that person/some people. And if we don't understand that, there's something wrong with us ("not familiar with the competitive mindset or being exceptional at anything," or whatever), not the PvP/streamer community. The idea that "excellence" necessarily requires unfettered use of verbal abuse and sexual harassment.

We're definitely not going to convince anyone that this streamer was out of line if that's what their defenders actually believe, and there's not really any further point to this thread now that ZOS has been informed and can make a determination on it. You can't argue against that kind of ideology, regardless of how terrifying it is to the people who are stuck dealing with it.

I have watched some streamers and dipped out for good when they started spouting vile stuff. If it was too bad I would report it where needed and move on, which was exactly like 1 time.

This very much does feel like an attempt to witch hunt/brigade at this point.

Also with how many times they have had to moderate this topic I don't see how it is still open, it's just a breeding ground of toxicity.

This has nothing to do with jealousy—it’s about accountability. Being on the ESO Stream Team isn’t just about ‘entertaining’ or ‘promoting the game’; it comes with a level of responsibility. When a representative of the game is caught exploiting and being openly toxic, it’s not a ‘minor mistake’—it’s a blatant violation of the rules. If it were a random player, they’d still be reported, but the fact that it’s a Stream Team member makes it even worse because they’re supposed to set an example. There was no witch hunting involved. No names were even mentioned. This isn’t about personal attacks or targeting someone—it’s about pointing out bad behavior from an official ESO Stream Team member and making sure it’s addressed. Keeping things transparent and public is important, especially when someone representing the game breaks the rules.
