I always wonder what causes so long maintenance on ESO when you don't see the same on other (bigger) MMOs like WoW or FFXIV.

@ZOS_Kevin Some of us have multiple accounts. IF you get the servers back online around 7pm CST, that only gives 2 hours to get endeavors/daily login rewards completed before the EU server rollover. That will be difficult for some of us to accomplish. Any plans on doing something about that?

@ZOS_Kevin I am going to miss the daily login rewards because of the extended maintenance, and probably others have the same problem. Is there a chance that people who are not able to claim their login rewards because of that reason still get them? Maybe additional to another day of February?

A question for the devs/mods.

Given that the EU server has been out of action from 5AM 5 Feb 2025 UTC to at least 1AM 6 Feb 2025 UTC and thus no-one has been able to log on to collect the daily log-in reward or really do anything will ZOS add 5th Feb login reward to the 6th? Or some how add the missed reward to a future day in Feb?

NA players will be able to log in as the maintenance for them ends, with luck, at 8PM EST, for us in the EU... no chance at all.

So long, farewell...I've simply had enough of this!

Does anyone remember how reinstalling the game sometime back and still later getting new mega servers was going to improve maintenance windows and update sizes? Unfortunately I do so here we are today with a proposed 20 hour maintenance...is the situation not worse than it's ever been or am I missing something?

I've been playing this game long enough that I've gotten used to lots of downtime and long maintenance periods. It's still annoying, but expected.

But even so 20 hours is surprising, and I'm another one who will be unable to log in today because of it. (No, strangly enough I didn't think to log in at 4am before it started, and I won't be online at 2am tomorrow after it's finished.)

I totally understand the need for maintenance, but this long means a total day wasted for us EU players. One less daily rewards and my whole crafting schedule that I have perfectly setup is now ruined. Not happy about this.

Some of you need to get outside of playing just one game. Are you afraid you might not actually miss ESO and enjoy something else for a while?
