Crowborne Horror bugged?

Fight started, no ads spawn like they have been doing for years. At first I was kinda upset they nerfed this fight. Then, I noticed the boss wasn't actually attacking me... He flew up above the cauldron, then back down, but wasn't actually attacking. That's when I realized it's just broken. Anyone else see this?

✭✭✭✭✭I fought this boss twice this last night, and both times, the boss bugged out after about halfway through. The first half of the fight worked as expected, but after a certain point, it just stood still and turned into a target dummy.

✭✭Yup, it just stood there getting slapped the one time I did the quest.
Fight started as normal, then it flew up and, when it got back down it was a target dummy, with the cauldron shooting green blobs.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I did it once yesterday and he stopped for me about halfway through as well. He never started summoning the gravestones.
I was 'soloing' it with Bastian though, so it was nice to sit back and let him do the work though. Obviously unintended, but it did save me some time.0 -
16BitForestCat✭✭✭✭✭It was a normal fight for me both days so far—except that I never saw gravestones pop up, which I'd just assumed (and hoped) was a deliberate change to make the fight less taxing on newer and undergeared players.
I dislike combat in general (in anything, not just ESO), so I would've loved being able to end the battle at my own pace, in my own way, by having the guy freeze up. I did greatly appreciate the lack of those awful gravestones. I was never able to solo the boss till this year. Would always get him down to 1%, and then he'd suddenly go wild with the gravestones, I'd rapidly run out of resources, and end up dead on the ground when he only had a few hits left to defeat. If I cared about combat, I could probably fix this, but I don't, so I haven't tried.
That said, I realize I'm a minority on the "I hate fighting" front, and I want other players who do like combat to fully enjoy the Festival too! It's a conundrum for me, not wanting the Crowborne Horror fixed if he could freeze up for me too, but also not wanting others to be disappointed.

Sometimes a bit of cheese is so very welcome though, don't you think?
