Crowborne Horror bugged?

Fight started, no ads spawn like they have been doing for years. At first I was kinda upset they nerfed this fight. Then, I noticed the boss wasn't actually attacking me... He flew up above the cauldron, then back down, but wasn't actually attacking. That's when I realized it's just broken. Anyone else see this?

PCNA last night, I definitely saw adds. Ugh, inconsistent bugs are the worst kind to track down.

Ps eu I havent seen any adds this year. It looked like my scamp was tanking it

I fought this boss twice this last night, and both times, the boss bugged out after about halfway through. The first half of the fight worked as expected, but after a certain point, it just stood still and turned into a target dummy.

Not that I'm complaining, since this saves me time...

Same. Got in two times on my arcanist, and both times it bugged out.

Yup, it just stood there getting slapped the one time I did the quest.
Fight started as normal, then it flew up and, when it got back down it was a target dummy, with the cauldron shooting green blobs.

I did it once yesterday and he stopped for me about halfway through as well. He never started summoning the gravestones.

I was 'soloing' it with Bastian though, so it was nice to sit back and let him do the work though. Obviously unintended, but it did save me some time.

It was a normal fight for me both days so far—except that I never saw gravestones pop up, which I'd just assumed (and hoped) was a deliberate change to make the fight less taxing on newer and undergeared players.

I dislike combat in general (in anything, not just ESO), so I would've loved being able to end the battle at my own pace, in my own way, by having the guy freeze up. I did greatly appreciate the lack of those awful gravestones. I was never able to solo the boss till this year. Would always get him down to 1%, and then he'd suddenly go wild with the gravestones, I'd rapidly run out of resources, and end up dead on the ground when he only had a few hits left to defeat. If I cared about combat, I could probably fix this, but I don't, so I haven't tried.

That said, I realize I'm a minority on the "I hate fighting" front, and I want other players who do like combat to fully enjoy the Festival too! It's a conundrum for me, not wanting the Crowborne Horror fixed if he could freeze up for me too, but also not wanting others to be disappointed.

i noticed this as well when i ran it with my gf last night, like others noted once he got to about 50% hp is when he just stopped doing anything

Same here, fought it 3 times, every single time its AI died after first immunity phase (post 80%).

When he gets to 1.5 mil he stops attacking and just stands there, haven't seen a gravestone so far this year.
Sometimes a bit of cheese is so very welcome though, don't you think?
