It's back to happening with me. Game claims I have four unread items and my mailbox is full. Looking in my mailbox which is empty results in the game saying I am still full with 3 unread items and a still empty mailbox.

This is ridiculous! Never had or heard of this issue personally but clearly it has been an issue for a while now. Come on ZOS, get your act together and fix this!

Saw this only 1, but after I checked all characters now I have no mail waiting. So what happened to these 3? I have no addons enabled either.

When the development discussion comes up as to why folks stop subscribing to ESO+ this is a perfect example. The first thing I see after logging in yesterday for the Undaunted event and not having played since the last PvE event ended is a mailbox full message and empty mailbox. Then it repeats itself for today. This isn't a one of or a random problem but one that is persistent and widespread. One where there are plenty of opportunities to get debugging information. If ZOS is incapable of figuring it out all it takes is reaching to some of us who see this situation constantly. When long running bugs like this get shoved to the side and ignored instead of being fixed it confirms to players that the developers don't care about the game. If the developers don't care then why should we care enough spend our money on it?

Still having this issue ZOS. This is why players lose faith and stop playing/subbing. You care only about the amount crap you can shove into scam crates to milk the whales than you actually do about the game itself. I've gone back to WoW, just so sick of one thing after another and never getting fixed but the amount of microtransaction crap that gets thrown into the game clearly shows us where your priorities are. You've ruined what was once a great game.

Seems to be the problem that doesn't die, as it's happening to me now when it wasn't before.

Deleting my new mail and restarting the game seems to clear it temporarily, but it's happened two days in a row now upon first logging on with a few new mails in my inbox (which was nowhere near full). The issue keeps new mail from coming in, even though the inbox isn't full.

Clever, they renamed "your inbox is full" to "you have undelivered mail". Problem solved I guess?

The only time I get this is when a pvp campaign ends and all 18 characters are going to receive rewards. So, the fix that works for me is to go to a different zone, open the mail, logout and do the next character. Tedious, but a viable work-around.

Both the hubby and I have seen this bug on PS NA server only recently.

For us we got the bugged incoming mail after having sent more than one mail message with attachments to each other, like when we had more items to mail than would fit in one or two messages. We often gather up and send stuff we don’t need all at once.

Perhaps this is flagged as some sort of spamming and causes a delay, even though it is just 3-4 messages? Hope this helps with fixing the problem.

You do realize that every "fix" you attempt just makes things worse, right? A previous "fix" caused my wife to start getting the message about phantom mail that does not exist and is never delivered. Your latest "fix" now has me getting the same thing. And this has been happening for at least 18 months now?

I had 6 items in my mail this morning as expected. I received and deleted all 6 and now my mail is stuck saying I have 2 undelivered mail and the only way I could clear it was by logging out. Nothing in game (teleport, reload, UI, wait, etc) worked.

I've also noticed since the change that I can have 5 items in my mailbox but the mail count will indicate I have 4 unread messages. This before I've even accessed my mailbox.

And today after receiving items in my mail I can't delete them. There are more bugs now than before the fix.
