I'm pretty torn between Ember and Mirri but I gave Mirri the edge cause I prefer her voice acting

I don't see any comments that anyone voted for Mirri because they found her sexy.

Ember is fun. I wish she had more dialogue.

Voted for IKD option since I only have Bastian and Mirri (didn't buy the xpac) out of the two I like Bastian more.

Isobel is a bit meeker than I was hoping she'd be but overall I like her personality the most.

regarding Isobel's quests

I want a companion who isn't tied into a chapter, and I hope they are just like Mirri

I haven't done anyone except Bastian's additional stories so far so I'm biased. His story was so emotional and powerful making me want to go through the grind to continue it while Mirri's just doesn't really interest me personally. I am ignoring the fact that Bastian is an Imperial and not a Breton though. The two new ones seem like they'll be interesting, so I'll see if either take Bastian's place as my favorite in the future.

Ember has the best personality and voice acting, Bastian is just annoying, and Mirri is alright. For some reason Isobel just doesn't click with me, her voice acting sounds off to me. Her lines feel/sound emotionless.(Edit: To clarify, only some of her one-liners do. The quests are voiced really good.)

PS: Have done all stories on all four companions. The stories on all of them are fine.

Bastian is caring and sweet to you, and he also likes exploring and shopping. If that isn't perfection, I don't know what is.

id like to see ,, some new companions or a ability to change the looks for companions like character creation. or so or something .. i think vampire male from grey Moore would make a good companion .. also need were wolf. that be cool..

But I don't like noodle hair of Ember. Want to change it.

In terms of pleasantness/likeability, I prefer Ember and Isobel--I still haven't finished all their personal stories, but so far they have a more congenial and interesting personality than Bastian and Mirri, and also Ember's letter to the Vestige was very touching, and made me tear up a little. Bastian and Mirri are also congenial/warm towards the Vestige, and they have nice moments too, but Bastian can be really cheesy and lame sometimes, and Mirri can be too sarcastic/long-suffering as well, which I don't like that much. In terms of good/decent/morally-sound, they are all decent, but Ember is not always morally-sound though it makes sense since she is the companion you can do criminal activities with. All in all I think the new companions are more likeable and that the dev team did a better job this time around. One thing I would change is that although Isobel is a Knight has to be noble, good, etc., she is too similar in temperament to Bastian, so I would prefer it if they made her personality a bit different while retaining her knightly characteristics.

Ember has better lines and she doesn't feel the need to say them over and over every 2 mins. Also Ember doesn't comment on every single thing I do. I've just starting leveling up Isobel, so I don't know much about her except she's becoming a pretty good sword & shield tank/healer.
