I like when the one in Coldharbour (Vaults of Madness) with the lava chasing you in zigzags in the Grothdar fight, the broken maze feel, jumping into what seems like an endless void, the souls rushing up in a column of light on the last boss. Very interesting design. (Just wish dungeons got their own musical themes to really enhance the feel.)

Speaking of, I wonder if they will ever add another Coldharbour group dungeon...

Anyway which do you enjoy just being in/going through?

I really enjoy the pirate aesthetics of Blackheart Haven. All the tunnels and bridges made by deteriorating ships are really fun.

It's a pity the fights are so boring though.

Vaults of Madness, since it is easy and quick, plus the jumping parts are cool.

I'm not a fan of DLC dungeons, but Frostvault has the challenge on top notch level. Especially the laser boss and the final one with the mecha-rats.

Another for Vaults of Madness; only 1 door to glitch at with 1 boss that gets stuck inside walls but, if you can get the chance to take it slowly and look around it's really well designed and the quest story is rather good. Fun to grab massive mobs and stack them with a couple of bosses when you can, too.

Such a pity that most pugs feel compelled to take it at warp speed, though. Although, to be fair, I've been guilty of that, too, particularly when farming gear.

Fang Lair and Unhallowed Grave are my favorites in terms of fights and aesthetics. Unhallowed more so for its traversal with secret bosses that revolve around a little side story, but FL takes the cake for challenging bosses when compared to UHG

I would say Unhallowed Grave, creepy urns everywhere, bones, skeletons that have a bone to pick with you, and the Almighty Nightmare Colossus “Tzirzhalir.”
If you see me anywhere. Know that I am sitting back with a bag of popcorn, watching as ESO burns the goodwill of its player base with practices that only disrespects the players time like it did to me and many others...

Frostvault Dungeon is the most fun you can get out of a dungeon, by far!

Frostvault, is the most bugged dungeon in the history of eso, with each boss having (or had) a special bug that exists only in that specific boss, some even multiple of them. When you go into that bugged thing you need to pray to God for few minutes first that laser boss is working because if not, u can't pass it.
I can name 3 total unique bugs only for last boss. (2 of them are fixed).

Vaults of Madness is amazingly well done. Most crypt-style architecture/decor is lazy, boring and dark. VoM is brilliant (but a bit dark in places too). And even though I usually hate jumping puzzles, that aspect is really well done too.

There's a really nice stretch in the middle of Blackheart Haven, but on the whole I find it meh.

I would say either VOM or COA 2 for the originals, but the boss fights in VOM, are a little bland. I really liked the challenge COA2 presented at launch, and both dungeons are beautiful in their own way.

My two favorite DLCs are probably WGT and MoS. WGT was really the first true pug killer that required 4 people to actually play the game and work together. It is of course way easier these days, but people didnt get carried through there when it first came out. It was also the first HM that I had to work at. MoS is just beautiful, and I like the boss mechanics for most fights.

That poster was referring to the overall experience I believe, saying it is the most fun you can get out of a dungeon, by far! I suspect he/she was being facetious.

The aesthetics/atmosphere of Frostvault is fine. But I despise the mechanics in that dungeon. It is my worse by far. Just thinking of that dungeon is enough to make my skin crawl.

Props on a interesting thread idea by the way. March of Sacrifices comes to my mind as a particularly cool aesthetic/atmosphere.

The Mad Architect's room in VoM, and the visuals in that fight in general are amazing, but if we're talking about the aesthetics of the entire dungeon, then I'd probably have to say March of Sacrifices (and to a lesser extent, Darkshade Caverns--I just really like glowy flowers), followed by Fang Lair and Frostvault (because they are more expansive Dwemer ruins than what we usually see in public dungeons and delves), and finally Moonhunter Keep for the building architecture.

Vaults of Madness for interior design. It's my favorite dungeon in the game, followed by March of Sacrifices

For exterior design, nothing in the game comes close to Crypt of Hearts. That castle is so massive, that it dwarfs everything in comparison. The design team back then really took their time with it. If you've never ridden up to the entrance, go do so.

I haven't done them all but adore Frostvault, Vaults of Madness, that hircine one the name escaped me, and Moongrave Fane.
