So because nightblades were spoiled by exploiting lag and desync it should always stay that way. No.
What does your average ping look like in Cyrodiil? Have you played a glass cannon medium armor build this patch? I didn’t have those issues fighting NBs so It sounds like to me the problem is on your end.

Yeah my GB connection with 8 ping to Frankfurt is the issue. It only explodes up to 150 when it hits the zos' servers. This issue has existed since forever and all but disappeared with the introduction of cast times, until zos' fixes their servers , cast times are a must

No. If players will let ZOS get away with cast times, then "until zos fixes their servers" is going to be "never", because, make no mistake, nobody cares about your experience. Company the least. Company cares about you paying money, and if you let them slap an ugly patch of duct tape over the problem and make things worse for everyone but still not bad enough to make revenues drop, then it's going to be a permanent fix. People who say "ah well, cast times until servers are fixed" are not company's customers, they're walking money bags, and ZOS is going to be happy to sit on what they have and feed them a new texture for indrik and two half-baked dungeons each season. That's how life works.

If they never fix the lag there are alternative games available this year to replace this. If they stick to their word and fix the lag and desync and everything else, I'd gladly hop on the revert the cast time change boat, if they don't I'll be starting a new mmo this year. Also, calling me a walking moneybag for not blindly following the herd is just absurd, and insulting.

They never gave you the word. The only changes that'll happen is those we advocate for, not those we just wait to happen. And you imagine yourself not part of the crowd, really now? The crowd is those who let company do whatever it wants and slap on band-aid fixes while they're being sold new crown store items. People who gathered in this forum are mostly the vocal minority that care about the game enough to try and make difference. And the herd are those who mostly sit in game and eat what they're being fed - band-aid fixes for server lags and glitches, tales about bugs in finder, half-baked reskins in crown store. And, sorry to say it, you're following them. ^^

Well when you keep saying the same thibg over and over again, we will have to keep replying in the same way.

This is not wisdom because it is not possible to circumvent the GCD like that. This argument is tinfoil hat nonsense that displays a profound lack of understanding of game mechanics. Cast times are indefensible dead weight that serve only to make combat unresponsive and inconsistent. If you somehow enjoy this, you're in luck, because there's still plenty of lag that isn't artificially simulated by the worst combat change in this game's entire history.

WARNING - UNPOPULAR COMMENT FOLLOWS
If nobody had told me certain ultimates got a cast time, I wouldn't even know it had happened. Even knowing it has happened, the characters I have who have some cast time ultimates are... working exactly the same as they did before. I'm not noticing any difference. Which means the impact this has on my gameplay is somewhere around zero.
Granted, some of this is likely because there is often a half second lag between when I do anything in this game and stuff happens on the screen anyway. There's nothing to notice because it's business as usual. But even if this game was super smooth, I doubt I could find myself caring about not even a half second delay. I'm just not that twitchy.
What ultis are you using?
Mostly my magblade... who I take into Cyro to get event tickets because she is super sneak. Apparently soul tether has a cast time. Seriously didn’t notice and had no idea until I looked at it a few days ago and went “huh, so this is one they added a cast time to? Kay... feels exactly the same...”
Do you bar swap to fire the ulti?

Your entitled to your own opinion.
But the facts are the facts.
Most players dislike it.
It slows down combat.
You might think it’s a good change but it’s clear most of us don’t. I think you need to u understand that.

Lmao listen to this ignorant comment. Lag and desyncs are server problems.
So fix the animations and sound cues, don't artificially simulate lag with cast times. Incap and Dawnbreaker have always played their sound cues a brief moment before landing (when the game works properly). I get that cues don't always play due to server lag, but the solution to this is definitely not artifically adding more lag, WTF.Fact is Devs said it was bad for the game to have the most powerful abilities in-game to hit before you see them.
He also plays NB which gets screwed harder by cast times than any other class.Nah Glivoth enjoys cast times because he plays sorc which isn't affected.

Yeah and I play evert spec possible in this game, from time to time... Just like glivoth plays NB, especially when he needs arguments to nerf NB!
Magblades have so many fun ultimates now!
1. Ground based small aoe dot.
2. Cast time aoe semi-nuke/semi-dot.
3. Cast time single target nuke.
4. Delayed, highly telegraphed, target based aoe.
5. Delayed PB aoe dot.
6. Channeled single target dot.
Yeah... Pretty awesome choice! Can I have at least 1 ultimate that works immediately? Just one. You know assasisns are meant to be deadly and squishy. In current state NBs are squishy but not deadly.

If they fixed the lag, desync and all that, I'd gladly be for the removal of allcast times.
